Modern Estonian Design is all about craftsmanship and technology. However, it was not always like that.
So in this video, we will go on a small journey and check out the three best places that represent Estonian design. We will explore the 100+ year-old evolution of Estonian design in the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design.
We will explore the upcycling method with the leading Estonian fashion designer Reet Aus, whose focus solely lies on creating sustainable fashion clothing.
And since Estonians are great at crafting, we will make a leather armlet with Stella Soomlais, who is known for her leather accessories.
Hopefully, by the end of this video, you will have a better understanding of the Estonian design and where to find it in Tallinn.

    1. Why not do a series like Fashion in Estonia and show us what sort of stuff is being sold in Tallinn, Tartu, Parni, and Narva etc. Not just a single video but a series of videos.

    2. I was just in Tallinn over Christmas to visit my son. It was fantastic and we went to Tallinn Design House in Rotermann and found some beautiful pieces! I brought home a ring and earrings which I adore. Tallinn was just incredible and I want to go back!
