Lettland begrüßt mich mit meinem bisher spektakulärsten Sonnenuntergang.
Heute morgen im großen Shoppingcenter sowohl Social Media gemacht (Free WiFi) als auch die beiden Displays meiner Handys repariert. Die Schutzscheiben mussten erneuert werden. Dann Wasser getankt und ein Buch gekauft („The Storyteller“ von Dave Grohl). Habe tatsächlich, abends im Zelt, Zeit und Lust etwas zu lesen.
Estland war super schön, eine romantische Ecke nach der nächsten. Freundliche aber etwas zurückhaltende Menschen. Eigentlich so, wie ich mir die Finnen vorgestellt hatte und wie sie ja dann in keinster Weise waren …
In Lettland angekommen, dann noch einen Traumplatz zum Campen, direkt an der Ostsee, gefunden und meinen schönsten Sonnenuntergang angeschaut, während ich mir Nudeln auf dem Kocher zubereitet habe. Im Moment wird jeder Tag zu einem Naturschauspiel.
Die drei Kg Müll, die ich so gerne gesammelt hätte, um die 100 kg voll zu machen, habe ich leider nicht ganz hingekriegt – das schaffe ich aber morgen – versprochen!
Eine 95 Tage dauernde, 7200 km lange Fahrradtour durch 9 Länder rund um Nord- und Ostsee.
Ziel ist es so viel Plastikabfall und Spenden wie möglich zu sammeln, um die gemeinnützige Organisation @oneearthoneocean zu unterstützen, die mit ihren Müllsammelschiffen die Flüsse und Ozeane vom Plastikmüll befreit.
Unterwegs sind wir mit elektrifizierten Cargobikes von Velo-Lab und unterstützt werden wir von Globetrotter, Vaude, GRAVIS, Triple 2, Ilockit , Magped und One Earth One Ocean e.V.

Latvia greets me with my most spectacular sunset yet.
This morning in the big shopping center both made social media (Free WiFi) and repaired the two displays of my phones. The protective screens needed to be replaced. Then filled up with water and bought a book (“The Storyteller” by Dave Grohl). Have actually, in the evening in the tent, time and desire to read something.
Estonia was super nice, one romantic corner after the next. Friendly but somewhat reserved people. Actually, as I had imagined the Finns and as they were then in no way …
Arrived in Latvia, then still a dream place to camp, directly on the Baltic Sea, found and watched my most beautiful sunset, while I prepared noodles on the stove. At the moment, every day is becoming a natural spectacle.
The three kg of garbage that I would have collected so gladly to make the 100 kg full, I have unfortunately not quite managed – but I’ll manage tomorrow – I promise!
A 95 day, 7200 km bike tour through 9 countries around the North Sea and Baltic Sea.
The goal is to collect as much plastic waste and donations as possible to support the non-profit organization @oneearthoneocean, which uses its garbage collection ships to rid the rivers and oceans of plastic waste.
