Beginning in Donauschingen, Julianna and I follow the Danube Cycle Path, here also known as Eurovelo 6, across the fairy tale landscape of the Black Forest, biking through Tuttlingen, Reidlingen, and the Upper Danube Nature Park to Sigmaringen. It turns out this section of the Swabian Alps is a hidden gem along the Danube, ideal for bike touring. If you’ve ever wondered whether bicycle touring in Europe is for you, take a look.

    1. I like they way you showed it from the cyclist perspective as opposed to the heave use of drones. Eurovelo 6 has been on my list for a while, but the world is a big place. I managed to do a Northern European tour where I followed the North Sea Route for a while after landing in Denmark from a ferry from Iceland where I spent a month. From Norway back thru Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands and Scotland, England and Wales. I feel sad that I couldn't squeeze Ireland onto that tour. One thing I loved about cycling Northern Europe was the food.

    2. Nice video. I have to say you two are the most pristine cycle tourists I've ever seen. A refreshing change. Seeing the world in style 🙂

    3. Makes for very pleasant viewing. Doing some cycling in Europe is very much on our bucket list…at least, after some more walking of pilgrim trails anyway.
