  1. I just got back from Iceland yesterday and definitely fell in love with the country. When you are on the coat, anywhere you point your camera is a postcard picture. It looks like you went in the summer. It is supposed to be spring now, but they are experiencing a lot of wintery weather and we nearly missed out on the south coast as the road to Vik being closed due to snow storms in the night. Luckily they opened it again at 2 pm, so was worth waiting extra time at Skogafoss and Kvernufoss falls until the passage reopened. I'd like to return in the summer, just to see how the landscape colours change in the new season. Watching this made me feel a little home sick for Iceland and it isn't even my home. Great video

  2. I guess I'm late to the party but thank you for your video! I would really like to plan my itinerary according to this video, is there any way to see wich place you completed each day? Like a written itinerary or something like that, it would be really useful to consider distances and places to stay

  3. i am planing to travel in Iceland in September for 10days. I really enjoyed your video and watched so many times for this travel. I was just wondering if you could give me some advice on where to book a hotel. It's difficult for me to decide where to stay when I'm planning my trip. Do you have any recommendations for finding a good location at the end of a long day? If you could provide the names of cities which i could book a accommodation and call it a long day, it would be very helpful." Thank you in advance!!!

  4. Thank you for the video!!! Am heading to Iceland to do a Solo, self drive from tomorrow! 1st – 13th April 2023. Coincidentally am getting the same campervan you guys used from Lava. Once again Thanks for sharing! I'll definitely check out some of the places you shared 😀

  5. Definitely the best tour guide for Iceland and the most beautiful and scenic shots of Iceland I've seen so far! Congratulations, Allan! 👏👏 You are an inspiration to me! ❤

  6. I’m planning a trip to Iceland in September. I’m glad I came across your vlog. It’s very helpful. I may not be able to do everything but you gave me the places that should be on my top list.

  7. Thanks for the nice and very informative video. One many days approximately should one spend to see all the attractions you mentioned in this video?

  8. I see everyone saying how expensive it is in Iceland and how dining out is super expensive, but it is about the same amount in the city that I live in xD so when I see people sharing their prices that they spent for restaurants in Iceland, its about the same/sometimes less than in my city lol

  9. This is a beautiful video, as many have commented. I would add that your selection of music was also wonderful – far better than the vast majority of YouTube, and it fits the visuals perfectly. It has given me ideas for a trip in September 2023 I am planning with my son. Thank you.

  10. You did an "excellent" job of going over all a traveler would need to know visiting Iceland! I have 'NOT' seen this on any other travel v ideo, 'very good!!! JMS

  11. Hi, first of all, sorry for my English. I'm going to Iceland at beginning of August. With my wife and daughter, we planned to see how much is possible, but my wife she's concern about my driving skills, i got my license 25 years, but didn't driving 12, so we planned to go for day trips with a busses, we all ready booked 2. My question is, is that very expensive option, what you think about it?

  12. I’m going to Iceland in 48 hours and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve rewatched this video over the months leading up to the trip. I appreciate that he shows great respect for the country. The video doesn’t feel like a gimmicky “tourism ad” or “self-centered vlogging”. He speaks and shows more about the country than he does about himself. The video, photography, audio and production is top notch. Sometimes I just play the video in the background while doing tasks. It’s oddly comforting and relaxing.

  13. I absolutely LOVED everything about this video – the footage, the production, the narration and most importantly the information. I learned so much. Thanks, Allan and congratulations on a job well done!!!

  14. Thank you for this video! Maybe I missed it , but when did you visit Iceland? How about the weather and northern lights? How many kilometres have you drove? I'm planning trip also. We will drive Ring road too just without Westfjord.
