Sold it 9 on the bo hi guys welcome back to the channel and to another auction video today we are back at Aston Barkley for the last sale of 2023 and we’re going to be looking at a couple of different bits today we’re going to be looking at Vans which we’re

Going to see in another video coming out probably next week but today this video we’re going to be looking at General cars so we’re going to look at one or two cheapy bits don’t get me wrong we might even have a bid on a few but predominantly today we’re going to look

At sort of the mainstream stuff so stuff between sort of 5,000 to sort of 152,000 the everyday sort of General cars your big stuff your crossovers your big saloons stuff like that and see what those vehicles are doing because at the moment the vehicle trades out in a b bit

Tough time with pricing and at the moment prices are starting to sort of rate themselves and particularly these more expensive cars are coming down quite sharply so I think today should be really interesting to see what is going on on the auction floor with prices are they still tumbling or have they started

To settle off is there demand there from dealers I suspect at the moment that a lot of dealers are going to be paying probably bottom book so forget cap clean at the moment that’s all out the window car valuations we have in the auctions

We used like a cap guide I think at the moment everyone’s going to be using the below average bottom book if you like we call it just effectively used as a guide to buy vehicles so I’m not expecting any records to be set today you never know

There may be the exception but I suspect it’s going to be pretty difficult to get rid of some stock currently but the only way to find out is to get ourselves in there so we’re going to do that in a second just also a quick shout out to

Cuz of the Chrome Wing wants painting it’s a couple of smart repairs buffing all over yeah quite a bit to do on that nice day bright dayy duster 1.3 tce 13 Prestige Patrol don’t know a lot about that engine I know a bit about the 12 TCA but

With Northern Irish plates on seem to struggle to sell and people don’t seem as Keen to buy them that’s just my view nice inside it’s got everything right about it to be honest with you I’ll be a good Benchmark today to see what um prices are doing cuz if that

66 plate ones the one two petrols are now starting to be a bit problematic the pure Tech Engine but not very good suffer with got wet belts on them they suffer with oil problems consumption Smoky engines have come across too many of them now but they are not on my list

However this one 1 L petrol engine is the older engine used from datu in the previous model bulletproof Brant engine I don’t know why you’d buy the one two cuz the one L is everything you need and it’s going to be serve you really well

So these are I mean not in my price range yet obviously the shape start on 64 but they will come good we’ll see that one does it’s booking clean at £ 7,600 with retail of 9 Grand on it now we’re talking lot 60 give you the TGA m m mystery electric no idea

Obviously dealers are taking in vehicles they’re trying to get deals done they’re trying to pay the best prices they can to get deals done and then they have to go to auction to dispose of these vehicles and what the dealers want to pay buying these vehicles and what the

Vendors who are basically taking these vehicles in part exchange are paying for them there is a bit of a gap there in between dealers are wanted to pay botom book at the moment because the prices are falling they don’t want be buying stock that’s going to devalue very

Quickly at the end of the day the dealers are not there they’re not buying there’s no demand and obviously that is going to have an effect as well on prices coming down and tumbling there was a couple of exceptions today the Volvo and the BMW they were doing did

Actually all right in the end they weren’t too bad probably because they were quite a nichy thing quite well spec Vehicles got still quite a bit of demand for those type of cars Volvos generally do quite well and obviously the BMS when they got a nice spec like that one was

It’s no surprise that that actually did its money but everything else really is the same old same old anything under five grand was still doing okay money I don’t think there was anything that was really sort of flying out there today but things were just getting over the

Line it is getting towards the end of the year so it does slow down a little bit anyway but there was still demand for those Vehicles most of them were getting on book or nearest down to book there doesn’t seem to be any letup there so we’ll see what happens in the new

Year I suspect January in the auctions is going to be very busy and I suspect that we will see a little bit of a turnaround in the pricing albeit maybe temporarily who knows what’s going to happen in the spring I’m predicting probably that we’ll see us a further
