Welcome back to EVO1 I’ve got some pretty exciting  news for you today here at EVO1 I enjoy talking   about bike brands bike companies and finding out  all of the kind of nitty-gritty behind them and   learning about how the bikes are actually made  I was really excited when I got the opportunity  

Last week to attend a dealer training and learn  about Basso and Lee Cougan bikes Basso and Lee   Cougan are both owned by the same holding company  known as Stardue group now Stardue group is based   in Northern Italy and is ran and controlled  by Alessandro Basso and Leonardo Basso very  

Interesting to see that that same last name is  also one of their brands what’s interesting here   is I actually learned in this dealer training all  about how they actually go out and they are fully   in control of their manufacturing process and  they have extremely high tolerances in standards  

For their bikes the big news coming from this  company is the fact that they are launching a   Dealer Direct program in the United States now  this Dealer Direct program is going to allow   you to go into your local bike shop and see their  entire range from Basso to Lee Cougan and actually  

Get your hands on these products I’m not going to  lie to y’all I was very very impressed with the   dealer training that I went through and especially  learning about all their different tolerances how   they hand lay up all their carbon fiber I’m very  excited to get my hands on one of these bikes  

And try it out I have to admit here I’m really  excited for this to happen I’m excited to see   a company go Dealer Direct instead of direct to  Consumer because it just goes to emphasize the   fact that they care about their product and their  customer enough to say hey we’re going to partner  

With a bike shop that way they understand the  brand they understand the bikes and you can get   a proper bike fit so you enjoy the product and  you actually enjoy the brand now of course we’re   going to put these bikes through their paces  we’re going to test them here on the channel
