[Applause] hi I’m Ted Howard Jones and I run chosy Grange CL we are in the Chilton Hills that means that we’re between um Oxford and high Wickam and we’re fairly close to the M40 motor away so it’s very easy to get to but the Fantastic thing is
That um we’re just sufficiently far from it that we don’t really hear it and uh uh we’ve got amazing views from here people love coming here for the walking and we are very well located for things um like National Trust properties um and great restaurants in in Marlo and Henley
So there’s a a wide variety of things to do from here particularly if you’ve got a dog and you like walking and getting out in the countryside or just just relaxing and and watching The View and the red kites uh which are prevalent around here so the reason we started the CL was
We were looking for alternative uses for our farm so um we had a small uh bit of field here which has an amazing view and uh we thought it might be a nice sight for people to spend their holidays on so here on the site we have uh five
Hardstanding pictures each one is equipped with electricity water and gray water disposal we also have Wi-Fi and if you come with um an electric car you can charge that up as well as we have a dedicated charging point for Ev I think what our visitors like about certificated locations is that they are
Fairly relaxed um that they’re very personal um they get a chance to get out into the into the countryside and often they have the sites almost to themselves um or only sharing with another couple of Vans and so they get that uh real rural experience and if you’re lucky
Enough to be in a in a location like this you get amazing views and you’re really immersed in the countryside and have the ability to to go and see wildlife or walk your dog and so forth I think I really like the Caravan and mot home club members because they
Are respect ful of my site on the whole they understand what a CL is that it’s a small site um and uh they they all many of them have just become friends because they they return year after year or month after month and they understand kind of what the countryside’s all about
And what touring is is all about and they they’re not expecting too much but they really appreciate what a CL can offer and the fact that every CL they go to is different and it’s run by different people and the facilities are probably different um but again the view
