Tadej Pogačar is a sensational rider and in 2024 he could be trying the triple crown of cycling and be the first rider to win it since 1987.

In professional cycling there are many historical Feats that separate the great Riders from the true Legends of the sport tacha is certainly an incredible writer has already marked his name in the history books as one of the best writers of his generation cementing his legacy by winning the Tor France at only
21 years old dominating plenty of races even winning the 2021 total France the year after and many other the notable achievements before even venturing into his 30s but the question is will he be able ble to do the impossible in 2024 of winning both the tour the France and the
Galia in the same year and maybe even doing the Triple Crown by winning the world championships as well given the facts we’ve seen tacha has been in one well toia and he’s been in four tour to Frances but he’s never done two grand Tours in one year the Triple Crown is
Seemingly the hardest achievement in cycling this is winning the free premier event on the professional calendar in the form of the Jalia toal France and the World Championships all in the same year the last time it was achieved was by Steven roach in 1987 and it’s almost
Broke him as a rider as well as he was never truly the same and of course the other Rider who’s also done it is none other than the goat himself Eddie Ms so tid batcha if he does manage to do it he would be able to put himself in the same
Category once again as Eddie mer doing it in the modern era potentially is even more difficult considering the specialization of the sport even if we look at the other impossible Feats not winning the World Championship but merely the jro and the tour in the same year it’s once again something that
Hasn’t been achieved in a long time since marup Pani in 1998 while Chris V came very close in 2018 by winning the jir tire and finishing third in the tourto France whilst in the same year Tom Duman was second in both the jro and the Torso indicating the challenge at
Hand Alberto sador has tried this speed in the past and nairo kintana but both failed to win both of them but if any Rider of his generation were to do it it would be the rider with the flare and talent of T Pacha well now coming to the
Rout this year in 20124 the Jalia is very time tral heavy and does look like it will suit T gacha who is the better all of the GC riders in the time trial considering that both rco venol and yis Bingle have decided to skip the retire alog together so taga should definitely
Be the favorite in terms of whoever comes here to try and challenge him and also the nature of the jro has also lent itself to quite a few Mountain stages in the beginning of the race and even featuring The prant to dbo as well a stage he’s very familiar with as in 2021
In the trano adriatico he absolutely dominated that climb and broke the record of the ascent and there’s also a hint of gravel which will be no bother for him he would potentially avoid wanted more gravel in the race as he is a former stratan champion in 2022 but
When you look at it it really is a route that could comfortably suit tacha and not having the great Rivals there to challenge him and in terms of his team support as well it seems to be fairly robust principally his teammate of Rafa Micah heading it up and some other good
Domestiques so it looks like it’s a strong enough team to support him in a lesser Duro field but nothing compared to what he would need at the Tour of France coming to the to of France the route is a bit harder there is a gravel stage as well and a very hard section
Towards the Finish where it does go up on some of the hardest climbs that tour has seen in a very long time with the c de Bonet very interesting feature and that final time trial as well a rolling one we have seen tatra doing well on these final time draws just think back
Till I PL to B with so much of it being sent around the ni area towards the finish this is a part of the world where he has done well in 2023 obviously winning Paris n in some emphatic fashion ahead of jonis Bingo and David goodu so
This one will be a hard one to say the least of course the rivals are going to be more elevated than that at the Jalia does he have enough in him to beat his career rival of yores vingal Primus rogich as well is considered one of his
Rivals and Remco Vino is somewhat of an unknown entity in terms of the Toro France as he will be debuting it but in terms of against jores Bingo obviously the last 2 years have gone towards the Dane what will change well last year in 2023 tatcha came in with not the ideal
Preparation after trashing in bason breaking his wrist and then not doing any competitive races other than the national championships before coming into the race so that is a different factor with Primus rogich he is a year older but he is in a different team arguably a weaker team and arguably rogl
Leaving also made V Malisa bike a weer team and with W vard as well going to the Galia this is another key factor they won’t have that incredible Swiss army knife for Vis meisa bike in terms of his team for the Tour of France this is an absolutely mouthwatering team
You’ve got Neil poet the new boy who will be looking to control the pace you’ve got an absolutely ecstatic climbing support with Z ala juuzo Adam Yates alongside taracha in the mountains and these three Riders have all finished on Grand toour podiums in the last 2
Years is this team too strong we have seen other teams such as movie star do a three- ProMed attack but with UA te memores there’s a much more clear hierarchy that is all on board the ti of capture train so potentially there will be no problems the situation where he
Could potentially do something here would be to isolate yonis Bingo and then having one of their leaders close enough to kind of go up the road and they do similar what yo visma did catat in 2022 and really just force him to do all the
Work that is one way to do it but as we saw in 2023 want s b looked like he had another level that he wasn’t really utilizing but in terms of the to of RS that is the big banana skin then we come to the world championships in Zurich and
The course is a very Punchy one with several climbs not big enough climbs to make it a mountain climbing Affair this could be one just between the more robust punches and then the lower end climbers but as we know am still gold is something that he’s won he’s also won
Flesh valone and Leb and years in his career already so he really does lend himself to this Punchy nature of a course and he’s demonstrated at Le lombardia he is really one of the best Riders when it comes to these hilly mountainous one-day races so I wouldn’t
P it past him at this world championship and there’s a very strong team around him as well the only banana skin in this team would be Primos RL maybe he’s seeing this as a potential Target as well so it could be a foe within the team so in terms of the verdict will
Tatcha be able to to win the J tour or even the Triple Crown given the roots and the stage of his career as well he is in the prime of his career and it is a good time for him to give this a bash and I think this cycling World whatever
Happens will definitely take the hat off for tacha to risk it all but in terms of the jro I think most people think that he’s the oddson favorite for that in terms of the total France that is the uncertainty you have to say also how will doing his first two grand Tours in
The same year affect him we saw last year that he had a huge calendar spanning all the way from early February all the way to Il lombardia so maybe if he this year by skipping those Cobblestone Classics that will Aid him here but still doing your first two
Grand Tours competitively as well is certainly going to be a very hard feat and I’m not sure if he’s going to be able to come out the Victor on that prom in terms of the World Championships I think here again much like the jro he’s OD on favorite but anything can happen
At the World Championships but I really do expect him to be at least on the podium but that’s basically it for this video make sure to let me know down below if you think he can do the triple crown and if not where do you think he’s
Going to finish in each of the three races hit the like button as that really helps And subscribe to the channel if you’re new here and of course as always thank you for watching and I will see you around

I think he could do it but on TDF he should race defensively…
In spite of the increasing quality of riders today, the Giro is a gift to Pogacar. The TDF is an unknown with Jonas and Primoz.
I suspect Tadej will decide during the Giro just how all in his body allows him to be, either go for victory or let a teammate take the point while he rides in anticipation of the Tour. And either way I think it'll be advantageous for him at the Tour. He is in the summertime sunshine of his career and a few climbs in Italy seem like the perfect prelude for a champ like Tadej. 😀
The question seems a little moot, giving he didn't win one Grand Tour this year, and the competition next year is going to be much greater. Hell he might not get a chance to compete in all three Grand Tours giving that both Auyosa and Adam Yates probadly will want to compete for a Vuelta win also. And lets not forkert he is going for the Olympics as well, so I don't think he has a chance of win all three, maybe one if he is lucky.
With Roche and Merckx having done it, it is not exactly impossible. It is, however, improbable.
Of course he can do it
no. simple answer
At first he has the talent to do it. But he will not. I give him the Giro. But the TDF this year will be very hard to win. And the World's have their own rules.
Who is here for Bini ?🎉
Now when I see a captions with the words Impossible I am not liking it.
It has been done before and it is very possible and the Slovenian Sensation to do it.
I think it's the right time to go for it at this stage of his career. The Cannibal and the Irish man did it.
It's a bold move but I do believe he will win the Giro and the TDF
Not sure about the world's
I will take the PANTANI double then I think about the 🌈 bands
The team that has been assembled to help the Slovenian win is one of the best we have seen in yrs, it's the strongest team this season bar none
UAE aka the Arabian Knights
I am going on record to say POGAČAR will win the 🩷 and 💛
I wouldn't bet against him. With the break up of visma and losing coaches and wout not doing the tour Jonas will be in the wind and have to work. Jonas won't be the best at anything this year. The tt is on his home roads jonas is gonna go down a great deal. With the world champ riding tt and four true teams it is gonna be great.
I'm rooting for Tadej, but whatever happens, this is going to be a spectacular year for the spectators to watch cycling.
More possibilities in so many ways.
Pog is the only rider who can do that today but still no – the quality of riders he must beat is just wow. Giro is for Pog, TDF for Jonas and no way Pog can recover from Giro to win TDF. Without Jonas yes, but Pog can win 10 stages and he will still be behind Jonas because there will be one long hard stage in 3rd week that Jonas will gain 2min. and Jonas will prepare only for TDF and every stage will be dialed for overall (boring yes, but he's smart and knows where his strength is and he knows he can't be "I can win everything" like Pog). Rogla is a threat but his team is not strong like TV or UAE. Vuelta will be fun – maybe we can see Jonas, Pog and Rogla there also – that would be wow.. let's go!
The UAE team must be super strong for him to do it.
I dont know if id make him odds on favourite for the worlds i think hes a top5 id love him to win it but i think MVDP is favourite to retain
If anyone can do it, it will be him.
I think the course of the TdF suits Vingegaard better. I even suspect that this might be the reason why Pogi opted in for the Giro – this is quite a safe bet for him imho.
Pog can definitely win the Giro, TDF, and Worlds but it will be very very difficult. Everything will have to go right for him to do it. He has to quickly build a large lead in the Giro so he can ride the rest of the race defensively. Then in the Tour, he has to try to really be in peak shape even with the Giro in his legs. He has to take advantage of the gravel stage as much as possible. He just has to hope for the best legs. Jonas is the best GT rider right now but he can still mess things up. Then there’s Roglic and Remco as well who can complicate things for Jonas.
In the Worlds, I think he is one of the top two favorites along with Remco. Of course, MVDP and Wout has to be dropped first, which is very possible with the course this year. If it goes to a sprint with Remco, I think it is 60-40 in favor of Pog.
Really excited to watch Pog’s season. If he manages to do it, I’m glad I get to witness it since I was not yet born when Merckx and Roche did it.
to me, riding the Giro by Tadej feels like an evasive manoeuvre to me….
If Vingegaard comes to tdf in better condition that last year, then NO – Pogi Will not be able to do it. If Pogi and Roglic speaks and combines efforts to end Vingegaard its possible. If at the last ty stage Jonas is within a 1-2 minuts after Pogi or Roglic he Will smoke them and win. Overall Vingegaard Will beat them both – he has on focus, one goal and is able to deliver over three weeks. Roglic have lost, and lost GT’s – same with Pogi – Vingegaard is only rider that has increased his level in tdf.
Now Remco – he is the king maker and can decide which person will win
Just curious..are the world championships considered more important than the Vualta?
Win or lose Pogi makes every race he is in worth watching.
He has not once beaten Jonas in the TDF by a significant margin and the gap between both is more likely to grow in Jonas favor this year because of Progacar's preparation or rather lack thereof. This rivalry is not as close as perceived when talking only about the TDF. Would it even be considered an upset if Primoz finishes ahead of him, probably not.
