If you are thinking about doing your  Erasmus in Germany and you still don’t   know which destination to choose, don’t worry.  I’m Morgane from Erasmus Play and in this video I’m going to   explain to you which are the best  Erasmus destinations in Germany. As you may already know, Berlin  is the capital of Germany,

And currently, it is the most  requested destination in the country by   international students. It is a city full of people and activities,  so if you are looking for a great cultural  offer, Berlin is the ideal destination for you,  since the German capital has numerous museums,  bars with live music, second-hand markets,

Festivals, concerts, etc.  There is also a very active nightlife  practically every day of the week.  Some plans that we recommend if  you do your Erasmus in Berlin are:  spend the day at the Wannsee Lake, take a trip to Potsdam,

And of course, go all over the city of  Berlin and visit its incredible museums,   monuments and historical buildings. Definitely, its cultural, student and night   life makes this city one of the most attractive  destinations for international students. The next city is Munich. This is the third most populated city in Germany

And is known for being the  beer capital of the world.  If you are a beer lover you can enjoy the  best and biggest beer gardens in the world.  One of these gardens is  located in the English Garden.  This city also has prestigious  universities, such as the

Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich or the Technical University of Munich,  which attracts many students  from technical careers,  as it is considered one of the sixty  best universities in the world. In third place would be Hamburg. The student atmosphere in this city is very good,  it receives every year many  international students,

So you will find many student parties. The University of Hamburg is the largest   university in the north of the country and one of the most recognized   universities in Germany, which also attracts a lot of students. The next city is Cologne. Cologne is one of the oldest cities in Germany

And is located in the west of Germany,  on the banks of the Rhine river.  It is a very lively city, where  you can plan a lot of activities,  such as partying at Friesenplatz. Take a walk along the banks of the Rhine River,  or visit the old town. Besides, Cologne is

Very close to the Netherlands,  Belgium and other German cities  such as Düsseldorf, Bonn or Dortmund, which will allow you to easily visit   other places during your Erasmus. Another positive aspect of doing   your Erasmus in Cologne is that it is  a warmer city than Berlin or Hamburg.

In fifth place would be Frankfurt. It is the main urban center   of the Rhine-Main region, and is characterized by being a city   of business and full of skyscrapers, which contrasts quite a lot   with the rest of German cities. In addition, given the size of Frankfurt,

It is very convenient to live there, you can move  around by public transport, bicycle or on foot.  Moreover, this is a very modern,  diverse and multicultural city. And the last city is Heidelberg. This is a universitary town,   so you will find a lot of students, both German and international.

Heidelberg is a small city, with a lot  of historical buildings and places,  for example the Heildelberg castle, one of the most visited places in Germany,   or also the University of Heidelberg, which is considered the oldest   university in Germany. Another positive aspect

Is that this city is quite inexpensive city, especially in comparison with other German cities. That is the end of today’s video. This would be our list of best   cities to do Erasmus in Germany. Don’t forget to subscribe to our
