Behind the Scenes At G3 Car Auction UK – Cheap Cars Galore

In today’s video, we’re at G3 Auctions in Yorkshire. Their Castleford site is absolutely amazing, everything is brand new, purpose built and high tech. You’d hope so, seeing as they’ve invested £12,000,000 into the place!

I was really curious to see how the auction hall runs and what the pricing would be like. I was pleasantly surprised in both regards. The dual lane hall made for fast paced bidding and I didn’t get bored like I do at some auction days. Prices were really competitive too, in fact I’m kicking myself for not putting my hand up more! But I’ll be back!

To get stuck into some inperson auction bidding today there’s loads of cars going through I think there’s about 300 I’ve put a load in my watch list some really interesting stuff whether we actually end up buying something or not I don’t know I’m certainly going to try

It’d be nice to buy one and get it home but either way it’d be really interesting to see see what’s happening with the prices see how a purpose built 12 million pound auction Hall looks and operates I can’t wait so let’s get in there and start having a look at what

Cars we got going on today very nice in here straight on with their Christmas decorations already we’ got the car of the week over here which is a really nice arath 595 or 695 I don’t even know it’s so smart looking I don’t even know what it is but that’s really nice

Then we head out into the Halls themselves as you can see it’s actually a really big site really nice big hanger you can tell it’s all being brand new built just a nice place to be this is where they Park all the cars obviously ready to go

In as I say I think it’s about 250 today there’s our two halls over there what’s really cool about G3 here in Castleford is they’re running both lanes at the same time time so if you’re looking for a bit of adrenaline As Good As It Gets

In the motor trade you can get in here and this car’s going through that car’s going through I Wish I Was Here of a big budget ready to buy loads and fill up a transport I just feel like that would be the most fun I would have had in a long

Time I’m probably slightly restricted in that regard the other really cool thing is they’ve given us free roam we’ve got visitor passes that we can Flash at people if we want to just go wherever we want so we’re going to head down and check out their kind of state-of-the-art

Photo booth they got a turntable in there cars go around they stick insta 360 inside it takes a view of the whole car inside so you can scroll it around look at it more than just your average bog basic pictures we were talking to the guys here earlier and I was saying

How many cars do you think you can hold in this site it’s about 10,000 I don’t imagine it’s quite a full capacity at the moment but you got cars getting prepped ready to go in over there cars that are ready to go through the Halls here stuff that’s sold over on that side

Obviously there’s an absolute ton of cars here they do several different sales whether it be the cheaper end of the stuff like it is today on the Thursday which is usually the busiest sale whether it’ll be that busy today or not I don’t know because it’s absolutely

Freezing out here it’s snowing when we got in a minute ago and Monday which is their motability sale and they’re doing more premium sale possibly on a Tuesday or Wednesday I’m never very good at remembering these things but we will put it down here below so there’s something

Auctions sometimes I’m actually really surprised at how cheap some of the stuff’s going this being the kind of budget end where prices seem to be staying quite strong I’m surprised stuff’s getting it’s absolute Bargains especially on a few if you’re willing to do a little bit of work which is always

The case with walking cars you can get some some absolute steals like that vxr for 3,600 quid that’s probably fall around out the door if that and yeah there’ll be massive margin in that by the time you fixed it up probably 4 grand I would have thought we got an
