    1. No, no helmets on the bike, the roads here are safer. Motor vehicles and cyclists often have their own way and only cross each other at crossing points. Except in the residential areas, where the cars are only allowed to go up to 30 km per hour. As a result, the chance of an accident is quite small. In countries where cyclists and cars drive together, I understand a helmet. Until 01-01-2023 we were also allowed to ride a scooter at 25km per hour without a helmet, this is no longer allowed. But they were not allowed on the road with other Motor Vehicles and therefore rode on the cycle path.
