Der verrückteste Tag bisher!
Gemütlich ohne Unterstützung losgefahren, nachdem ich einen ordentlichen Beach Cleanup hingelegt hatte.
Nach 5 km das erste Hindernis, ein umgestürzter Baum der nicht umfahrbar war … also alle Gepäcktaschen abbauen, Klappe runter vom Bike, Batterie ausbauen (8 kg) Lenkertasche, Packtaschen, Duffelbag, alles runter! Dann das Fahrrad über den nicht wirklich kleinen Baumstamm hieven und alles wieder anbringen.
Keine 3 km weiter dann der Oberhammer: Der Fahrradweg 101 wird zum Strandwanderweg. Hört plötzlich einfach auf und ich muss erneut alles abbauen. Zum zweiten Mal wird das Cargobike geschultert und eine Treppe zum Strand hinabgetragen und 600m weiter natürlich wieder raufgetragen …
Wie zuvor bereits, musste das gesamte Gepäck erneut runter und die sechshundert Meter über den Strand geschleppt und am Ende logischerweise wieder aufgeladen werden …
Zum Ende des Tages stehe ich dann auch noch vor Bahngleisen und der Fahrradweg geht fröhlich auf der anderen Seite weiter, aber weder eine Rampe oder eine Brücke die einem helfen könnte dieses Hindernis zu überwinden?!?! Lebensgefährlich so ne Fahrradroute, wer hat sich das ausgedacht? Die Autolobby??? Zum dritten Mal baue ich alles ab, werde dabei von Mosquitos aufgefressen und um das Elend perfekt zu machen verbiegt sich bei der Tortur auch noch mein Fahrradständer und ich muss auch da noch einmal ran und das Problem beheben …
Ich sach euch, Tage gibt es, da sollte man lieber im Zelt bleiben und ein gutes Buch lesen 😂🇱🇻👍🌻
Aber, gute Nachricht von der Müllbeseitigung, ich habe mittlerweile über 100 kg Plastikabfall aus der Natur entfernt – YEAH!
Eine 95 Tage dauernde, 7200 km lange Fahrradtour durch 9 Länder rund um Nord- und Ostsee.
Ziel ist es so viel Plastikabfall und Spenden wie möglich zu sammeln, um die gemeinnützige Organisation @oneearthoneocean zu unterstützen, die mit ihren Müllsammelschiffen die Flüsse und Ozeane vom Plastikmüll befreit.
Unterwegs sind wir mit elektrifizierten Cargobikes von Velo-Lab und unterstützt werden wir von Globetrotter, Vaude, GRAVIS, Triple 2, Ilockit , Magped und One Earth One Ocean e.V.

The craziest day so far!
Leisurely started without support, after I had put down a neat beach cleanup.
After 5 km the first obstacle, a fallen tree that could not be driven around … so dismantle all panniers, flap down from the bike, remove the battery (8 kg) handlebar bag, panniers, duffel bag, everything down! Then heave the bike over the not really small tree trunk and reattach everything.
No 3 km further then the next crazy obstacle: The bike path 101 becomes a beach hiking trail. Suddenly it just disappears and I have to dismantle everything again. For the second time the Cargobike is shouldered and a staircase to the beach down and 600m further along the shoreline it goes up again …
As before, the entire luggage had to be dragged down again and the six hundred meters across the beach and at the end logically loaded again …
At the end of the day I’m then also stand in front of railroad tracks and the bike path goes merrily on the other side, but neither a ramp or a bridge that could help you overcome this obstacle?!?! Life-threatening such a bicycle route, who has thought up this? The car lobby??? For the third time I dismantle everything, I am eaten by mosquitoes and to make the misery perfect, my bike stand bends during the ordeal and I have to go there again and fix the problem …
I’ll tell you, there are days when you should rather stay in the tent and read a good book 😂🇱🇻👍🌻
But, good news about the garbage removal, I have now removed over 100 kg of plastic waste from nature – YEAH!
A 95 day, 7200 km bike tour through 9 countries around the North Sea and Baltic Sea.
The goal is to collect as much plastic waste and donations as possible to support the non-profit organization @oneearthoneocean, which uses its garbage collection ships to rid the rivers and oceans of plastic waste.
