Suzuki RGV250 TYGA project…Finally putting the bike back together..classic 2 stroke Part 4

So we have had all the bits back from everywhere, the Ohlins took a little longer to get built waiting for pars and we had to wait to have some space on a bench to start building it, there is another building video coming next week for this ,so good to be getting the RGV built, hope you enjoyed the video

Yo what’s up everyone ProjectMoto  here, so um today we’re finally   doing it, we’re putting back together  the RGV250, let’s crack on with the Video right so here it is all  the bits, got all the wheels, we got all the swing arm,

Frame and stuff in there, bearings, brake disc, chain. that’s the forks we’ve been waiting for , there’s the Ohlins rear shock we’ve been waiting for,  now we just got to remember how to put it all   back together, right you ready for this? I’m ready ! do you remember how to put it back together? 

Not a clue! do you remember what bike it is? well not  really.. it was so long ago.. we don’t even   know if all these bits fit or anything do we? no, right  I’ll get the swing arm, swing arm first? yeah, swing arm..

Right so we got to put bearings in this,  so first I suppose we got to work out what   bearings? I watched the scary movie dinner scene this morning, oh did  you? yeah right let’s have a look at  

The picture.. oh dear.. you got waffles? what are  you going to put on it? need something on it, you got knife   what you hot a knife for? i’m going to cut the waffle we need some maple  syrup or something, oh hang on I’ve got some..

That’s a scary movie.. go and nick some  butter from upstairs, we don’t really know what’s going on here do we? we will in a minute, lets look at it nice, that goes in there, touches.. we should  have a little bit of.. that’s it perfect, look

We’ve got to take all them bolts out look at this.. this needs to go off,  alright so I think if we turn that over a sec, this bit.. oh yeah, bolts on here, that’s it yeah, man.. it’s so good to  see it starting going back together ain’t it ? yeah,

What did you do yesterday? what’ you do  last night? ate, what? loads..you can’t remember can you? I do remember, what’ did you have? six chicken  breasts, six chicken breasts?? they’re not big   they were small, there was six of them and I  cooked them and then.. what ate them all ?? yeah !  

Jesus Christ !! should I get me Ohlins rear shock out  then? I think you might have to in a minute.. so we’ve got the Ohlins rear shock, we might as well  say that that’s what we’ve been waiting for,  

The shock and the forks, maybe some  of the Ohlins bits were made in like Ukraine or somewhere?? alright? yeah, rear swing  arm pivot nut.. yes? pivot nut 50 to 80 nm, you have to hit that round with a screwdriver  won’t you? and a hammer?? don’t think I use a

I don’t think i will use a screwdriver, oh look..one of these? that size? something like that that will do it, up down, up down.. i was hoping i’d be riding it by now, that looks pretty good, A little bit more your  way, he coming we got washer and nuts go on this

Keep coming.. we’ve got a washer and nut to go on this end haven’t we? it’s here. right we’ve got to  have a little bit of a tidy up here, before we go any further  maybe we want to pull that Ohlins out  

And see if it even fits in between  all the bits? it’ll fit, look at this.. oh look look at these.. look at these ..they look expensive, spend £2.5k and you get a free sticker,  he’s cool oh it’s tight adjustable I’m finger  

That is cool, oh its height adjustable as well, I’m fingering a hole, yeah i know, do you see how much help I’ve been so we’re going to put that in.. the Ohlins is going to go on, the old Onions yeah I might put one on the  swing arm?? or the other side? well I’ve  

Got the black and white on my forks with the black  Forks, we’ll see once it’s built, look at that Liam !! right ,there’s none of these with this on there,  you’ve seen a few RGV’s in this configuration haven’t you?  

Yeah I left two like that ! yeah you’re  usually laying on the floor in pieces next to it, all that money you spent on this, I  know! they did such a good job powder   coating this and then Paul comes along..  Wheelworx Colchester that’s the place nice and tight

It’s got to go in that way cuz of  this bit, has to be backwards, right okay   I don’t think it would fit any other way, right hold it there because I need the  bolts, well I know we’re only 30 seconds  

Into the video.. but we’re 4 hours into  the day! have a look through that hole..   up a bit, not that much !! Cody keep away from  me ..you put that on me & I’ll punch you in the mouth, Cody stop making gesturing behind  my back, you ready.. 14 mate, where are we? 14,

No wonder we’re 4 hours into  the video actually looks like   it might work don’t it? 50? you got it on a 50? yeah it’s only 50 newton metres, that’s it, I  need to know what kind of bits I’m getting next,

What am I going to be doing? the yolks and  the forks? you want to get rolling chassis first   don’t you? so you want to put Forks in now you  want to do top and bottom yolk, head bearings,  

Next, that’s the bit you want to do next, what  you looking worried about? I’m not worried.. I’m   looking forward to it, that’s his permanent face,  it’s gas! where are they? there here, there’s one,

Look with a blade, slashed yourself up again, you know I done my eye I’m doing these   bags under his, I I reckon I can just cut a  little slit out, slot it together and glue it steel drums, do you like steel drums?  I love them yeah, yeah you like Jamaican

Stuff, yeah love steel drums, that’s  what you like playing when you’re   having your meal don’t you? steel drums yeah  normally when I’m eating I like it in the background we want to find a socket that fits that  nicely, yeah, right so the Ohlins is in, the yolks are in ,  yes? yeah,

So now we can get these forks out, one, take that one.. this is this side? that’s that side isn’t it? yeah alright, that’s not the outside is it?  yeah so that’s the inside but that’s got to go that way..

What they behind the forks, the brakes  ain’t on the front are they? brakes are behind alright it’s a modern bike isn’t it not like one of mine, come on Sawn Off get around there.. [ __ ] off Sawn Off..  come on hold it still, I’m try it’s  balancing on , well balance it nicely,

Its balancing on the shock nip them, they ain’t going to go nowhere,  how far are they supposed to come through the one thing these do is turn you don’t need to drop through the  yolks and all the rest, so we just adjust it 5mm?  

No I reckon Andy’s right, I reckon put it to the  top, I’ll put it to the top, yeah.. cheese & onion he’s a prick ain’t he? if you rode it with 10mm through You”d  have been like oh my God, yeah, you would have  

Closed one one eyelid and it would have  [ __ ] gone around the corner, I’ve only got   one eyelid, yeah he’s only got one eyelid yeah,  man look at that, yeah you happy? yeah get your front Wheel in, got discs on the wheels?  no we can put them on now there they ready to go, 

The bearings are in the wheels, so get that  off, let’s get the wheels and discs on, careful..  easy.. where you want to go? easy tiger ,just  put it on the floor down there or something right front wheel look  at them Wheels.. nice Bright white isn’t it??

What you don’t like them? I like  them, I love them, love those wheels right.. fixed isn’t it? you had any lunch? Nice man looks like a BMX chuck the engine in & we’re done aren’t we? yeah  go out for a ride on it, we’re ready to go we got the engine there, how was that? carrying  that, it was alright, it was alright, so I’m  

Guessing, it’s all a guess, if we lift that up  onto there, yeah, or should we lift it up onto   that Jack thing? it’ll start looking like a  bike, you got the the bolts? the engine bolts?   i have no idea what they are..

We might need a  bit of a hand Cody as well, you see these bits here..they are in that, that’s the bolt, that bolt, then there’s  a little bracket on the back here what bolts into that, that’s it, that’s it, stay exactly where you are… right i’m exactly where i am..

So that was the hard bit,  getting the engine in, got get this off anyway   for the chain, yeah got get that off, it’s actually  becoming a bike again man, we got a new front sprocket  

To put on there, once we get that sub frame on, the  TYGA one, we can work out what bits will go in,   because remember there was stuff under all the seat  and stuff here, so can you get the stand on now?  

We can put the stand on it, let’s do this right so  this is day two this is where we got yesterday   isn’t it ? we got Alfie working on there today,  uh so what you think? we’ll put the subframe on,  

We can put the chain and sprocket on, we’ll put the rest  of this frame on, we’ll put the footrest Hangers On,   we can probably put the exhaust on, yeah get  all that sort of stuff done, ive got a Ducati hat now

It’s very good yeah yea.. is it warmer? where’d you get that hat? that’s what I need,  you’ve got hair, I need a hat, you can buy this  hat, how much? I don’t know how much you got? but  

Let’s get this off first and put the chain on,  oh yeah I’ll get the other sprocket , Chain & Sprocket.. he’s like a surgeon, you could be part of my Eye Surgery Clinic.. thing is i drop things, like that, if you was part  of my eyelid and foreskin Surgery Clinic  

You can do the foreskins, I’m very much  looking forward to my first day at work then you want a spanner or something for that, this bit of frame’s got to go up, then  we can bolt all the engine together, make sure   that’s all bolted in, there here are they? well some of them,

And then the bottom one and then we  got the two these two bolts to do.. that one and that one, rear sub frame.. that’s a bit  lighter isn’t it? yeah, put the top in,

Right there I’ve got to go out in the van, don’t  squirt on me, I’m telling you you’ll get punched, Cody! look at them eh? you bolt them up alright?  where you been anyway? Billericay, oh yeah how was it?  

It’s great, you know what I saw? I tell  you what I saw, what? there’s a woman walking   a dog.. the dog had a one piece suit on,  legs and head and everything of Tigger ,  have you seen one?? no I’ve not seen one no,  the whole suit ,either that or I was tripping man…

What pads we got? racing pads, racing  road brake pads, they’re nice brakes aren’t   they? yeah well they’re what Suzuki use  aren’t they? yeah these are the standard brakes be like brand new them brakes, uh well so we might as well end it there for a minute i was kinda editing it

And we had loads more bits to go on  there and do stuff so we’re going to do this sort   of rebuild in a few different videos but man oh  I’m so pleased the RGV is going back together,

Likes about it but he likes it all, I think  it’s my favorite riding conditions, I like that   when you come out a roundabout you proper have to get  your body position right, get on the throttle   all the time you thinking, he loves  getting wet, it’s the excitement of it I think, he likes
