Hej Allihopa!
I was an exchange student in Sweden way back in 97/98 and I’m back to pedal the length of this beautiful country. I’m starting my adventure above the Arctic Circle in Kiruna, and I’ll make my way down to the bottom of Sweden where my host family lives. In this episode, I ride towards the Arctic Circle, get chased by a million mosquitos, and get very wet.

    1. I wonder if you know Jonna Jinton. She traveled to that mining town recently. Sounds like you probably rode right past her home.

    2. Going back home to Loveland/Fort Collins Colorado for a 3 week trip. Living here in hot and humid concrete jungle Houston, TX. Can’t wait for some fresh air and mountains!

    3. Ive been watching your channel for a while! Can’t wait to see this Swedish trip until the end! Love your videos. I’m always looking forward to the next one so I can play it on my device while I attempt to chef it up on the kitchen! Cheers!

    4. Midsummer was slightly over a month ago, i'm guessing you're uploading these from home? Hope you had/have a good time, Sweden is wonderful:)

    5. Fun fact: There's actually a Mosquito World Championship held annually in that area, go figure ;-). Whoever catches and kills the most mosquitoes is becomes the world champion. The winner usually catches around 150 moqsuitoes and gets a price check of 10 000 SEK.

    6. 1998 was the year of a massive El Niño. Weather around the globe was weird and atypical. It rained when it shouldn’t. There were droughts when there should be seasonal rains. So you may have experienced an atypical cloudy cool summer.

My childhood bikes had the light generators on them.
