    1. Lol my dad and I were riding through central business district to watch a game of australian footy league and left early to replace my dad’s pedals in winter. Bit of dawdling so took about 20 mins, but we weren’t late. Rode down in summer to buy a trailgator couple years back and needed to wait a week to collect it even with stock at the ratailer. Very relatable.

    2. Bike shops during the first pandemic: CHAOS!!! EVERYONE WE WORKING 24/7!!!! The local bike garage was so busy they legit opened up another shop down the street. business was boomin and I know this wasnt the only store that experienced this

    3. Looks like the friendliest bike shop I’ve ever seen…usually it takes 10 minutes for the employees to even notice you, then they talk down to you until you leave the store promising you’ll never go there again.

    4. The bike shop that I work out of we're lucky to have great technicians including myself and the past couple summers we maintained a 24 to 48 hour turnaround time and this winter the bike shop was pretty dead but not as dead as usual and service has been picking up faster and earlier than the past couple years

    5. All the bike shops in my city are employed my entitled assholes. I’ve learned how to do so many repairs on my own cause I just decided to stop dealing with those pricks.

    6. Half of the bike shops around my area a dodgy as and don’t even repair them properly or say you need a new part and stick used parts on them and say it’s new..

I tend to repair them myself now
