Na on na in other words welcome to the channel my  name is Rob and this is Kane now I am obviously an   Englishman and Kan is obviously an Englishman  but there is a difference I live in good old

Great Britain and Kane lives in good old psky that  correct yes uh we’re at your house now and we’ve   had a chat before when I came back in July and  I want to ask you some more questions about your

Life in Poland okay now can you give me uh a quick  rundown and if you want the full story check back   on the other one that will be in the description  down below but why are you living in Poland well

I’m here because I love music and I want to come  over here and have more Musical opportuni music   is your first that is my first my first love  I mean I love this little boy too too okay be

My dog um but the other reason is because of my  girlfriend yeah what is her name Patria patri I’m   saying it properly she’s over there I know we’ve  been together for about years she’ll be advising

Us on any polish that we need to correcting and  things uh so you’ve come here basically for your   two loves music and the love of your life uh pitsa  yeah and you drove all the way over here didn’t

You I did uh with with fui with fudge yes boy yeah  from now um what I would like to know we’re going   to talk about your life in Poland and what maybe  some differences is um so the first question are

There any difficulties that you find being an  Englishman living in Poland what are some of   the difficulties things that you think that’ll be  a lot easier in England or people might make life   a little bit harder for you possibly well I think  the main thing would be the language of course um

So going around just doing General so for example  when I first came here it was really really hard   to even go into a shop yeah I would have to ask  patri like can you come with me to the shop and

Tell me what this is or what that is or if she  couldn’t come with me she would write it down   or and before we left the home I would practice  the phrase a couple of times remember what it is

Um I remember one time going into jabka uh looking  for some cereal and it took me back to 20 minutes   to find the cereal and I eventually found it by  asking people you know where is it in Polish and

Literally this woman was take me around different  parts of the shop because I didn’t say it properly   MH um so that was a bit annoying bit difficult  the results is what because obviously being an

Adult you know you’re independent you do your own  thing and when I had my own home in England I was   going around doing stuff so I could go and sort  out car insurance rent whatever um so when it

Comes to more official things such as that say you  know so when we were finding a place to live patri   was doing a lot of that to go on and communicate  and so on um and for me it’s really annoying and

It’s it’s not that it’s patric’s fault of course  but I mean it’s it’s annoying for me to not have   my polish at that level to be independent and go  and I’ve found there certain things so when you’re

Learning polish there are basic phrases and basic  things you learn but when it comes to maybe more   official things there are words that you haven’t  necessar learn and so it’s very difficult to to   know and then people asking you questions uh  give you the sorry what face well yeah there

Many different ways of asking different kinds  of questions you know like someone’s asking you   how are you there like in English there are many  different ways of of uh asking such questions uh   and sometimes in Poland well in Polish they going  to do this like any language they will change the

Way they would ask it and if you’re not familiar  with it you’re going to be like well what did   you say um so that’s because I didn’t do enough  listening and then if you feel like okay they’re

Speaking too quick that’s because they’re not  well in this case me I’m not listening to it   enough to go and comprehend what’s going on um but  yeah when you mention the official side that is   it’s a different kind of language as well it’s  it’s much more formal so and of course formal

Language is not as common to hear so you’re not  going to have the opportunity to listen to it as   often as you would like to yeah um then also  as I guess also when when you’re dealing with

Um official situations such as governments and  that um you’ve got the added stress as well like   you you want to make sure that you’re polite and  and whatnot um so when I was doing going through

That process getting my um what do you call it  like ID registration and all that lot that was   a long process because you know we had to go  there and you speak about why you do why do

You want to be over here and blah blah blah along  with getting all the documents and whatnot um but   but it’s quite a tricky process yeah but you  do get used to it the more you listen um but

Thankfully you’re not really dealing with official  situations of well I said you’ve been over here   four years roughly now right MH and your polish is  pretty good you’ve admitted there’s things pretty   good uh when we go out places you’re pretty good  at talking to uh the waitresses and people like

That aren’t you I look like I am at least at least  you pretend to to everyone else that you are so   you know you’ve done really really well learning  um and we’ve we’ve already said that you know you

Want to learn and you want to be a part of this  what I’d like to know is now that you’re settled   in in your flat now are there anything what is  the difference between a Polish home maybe a

Polish Dom that’s right uh compared to an English  one that you’re finding at the moment is there   any differences do you think you’re talking like  physical differences yeah physical differences or   or you know maybe locational differences did  you live in a house before I did yeah so I I

Live twoo house I live in a two-bedroom that’s an  example uh so we would in England we would tend to   say the the size of a house or somewhere you’re  living a dwelling um by the number of bedrooms

You have y and Pa they don’t do that they will  say how many rooms you have so this flat here um   there are classes three rooms so we in England  we would say it’s a two-bedroom flat this yeah

This would be a two- bed flat you’re in in Palm  they call this I can’t remember how you’d say it   um because of the cases here um essentially call  this a three room flat yeah further to this what

We don’t not that I I didn’t really notice this in  in England maybe they’ve changed things or maybe   Addis wasn’t as observant but in Poland it’s very  common if you’re going to go and find a flat they

Will tell you how many meters squared it is M um  I didn’t really find that when I was looking for   homes in England you you just look on websites  I can’t remember now what they were called like

Right move and you type in how many bedrooms you  want okay two bed and it’ll say a Terrace’s house   or not very it’s not very clear we have a three  bed house uh and that might sound quite big but

A three bed house can mean a lot well yeah so  in terms of size of flats they they do vary I   mean this one is I think it’s 70 M squared if I’m  right um so it’s by my it depends where you are

As well like if you’re in the city it’s going to  be much more expensive we’re we’re a bit slightly   further out it’s much more cheaper like it is with  most places um but the 70 m is probably a bit on

The upper side because I’d say the average that  people would have is normally about a 50 m squared   sometimes it’s even smaller I think it’s like 35  or 30 might even go down to um so you’re looking

At like maybe even one one bedroom or two room  flat um if if you’re talking about other kinds   of uh homes they have in Poland um when you go  out in the countryside they usually uh tend to be

Much bigger so you’ll have like a it’s like a not  a farmhouse but it’s kind of like a almost like a   cottage and they’ll have a big front garden a big  back garden and it’s not just like oh here when I

Say big I don’t just mean you know like like 10 m  squared at the front and 10 at the back or 20 at   the back I’m talking much bigger where you you you  would have what part of the back Garden literally

Goes all the way around the whole home so for  example patrizi’s grandma it’s huge like there   are three different Gardens at the back it’s  all separated and it’s much more common in the   outskirts of yeah I think I think that’s probably  quite similar but probably probably here it’s even

To a bigger extent than in the UK the say so and  it’s um I think Poland is geographically bigger   than the UK so if you include England Wales squish  it all together Poland would still be bigger I

Think I might be wrong though UK versus Poland  then where would you have your washing machine   well should I say in the UK most of us would  have our washing machines in the kitchen yeah   where would yours normally be well because I’m  English yes it be in the kitchen and when I came

Over here I was quite surprised I’m like why is it  in the bathroom what’s going on but here’s another   thing too uh and this is not for all polish homes  generalizing the more restricted the space um the

More likely this will happen and that is the type  of wash machine you think what do you mean type of   wash machine now the any of the English maybe the  Australians uh who watching this be thinking okay

Well normally a wash machine you open the door and  it comes outwards at the front right oh you’ve got   one that lifts up like the Americans right I don’t  know about the Americans if they like that lift up

From the top but literally you lift it up and the  drum instead of being this way around where you   put the clothes in this way the drum is literally  to the opposite so it comes this so basically you

Would open from the top and then the drum itself  uh has an opening so you’d open the the drum from   the top and you put the clothes in that way that  yes we have that simply because it’s much more

Fui all right you want your toy so because you  um where you are you you leaving I don’t know   because there’s less space this is why they would  choose this uh over that because the other wash

Machines they are uh they take much more space so  that’s why they they do it and if you think about   it now at first I didn’t agree I thought this is  silly because obviously it’s what I was used to um

The reason why they will um put the wash machine  in the bathroom I think is because if you think   about you’ve got your shower in there yeah and  then if you have a shower and if you’re look at

You have a bath as well all the steam goes in this  room so this room is designed for lots of water   yes you could argue like okay but in the kitchen  we you know using the kettle we’re using the hob

And whatnot and of course you have an extractor  fan to remove that but in the bathroom it’s much   more tiled all around mhm and if you think about  it you’re taking all the washing that’s wet and

Then you can put them on the radiators they have  like a um it’s built into the wall it’s like a   I don’t know what you call standing type yeah  and it’s it’s literally taken so the the water

Com from the the Heat or the boiler goes to this  and it warms up the cloths and you find a lot of   people also depending on the size of the room will  put the maiden in there or the if you’re American

I think you say dryer clothe dryer or something  the and you put it or the era if you yeah I’d say   Maiden I don’t know why anyway so you pop it there  and and you dry it um it’s also common too for the

Polish to put the the maen outside on the balcony  as well yes that’s something so Charlie behind   the camera notice this as we were driving here  there’s obviously a lot of blocks right a lot of

Tower block buildings right Flats okay and there  are so many even when it is really cold and and   quite moist in the air uh a lot of flats will have  the eras on the Terrace in the UK I don’t think we

Would do that we would only put it outside when  it’s sunny and warm and if it’s not we if if we   don’t use the tumble dryer we would have our era  inside which causes condensation that but that

Only works when it’s freezing outside so it has  to be freezing yeah it cannot be wet it cannot   be rainy it needs to be okay then your washing  is done so okay so basically the poles will put

It out on the Terrace when it’s very cold well  they do it in the summer too but it’s also yeah   in the summer as well but not when it’s wet but  only when it’s really cold okay obviously I don’t

Think we’ do that anymore if it’s windy as well  you’re going to be removing a lot of the of that   okay so yeah there’s that that is the difference  um have you visited many places in Poland while

You’ve been over there been quite a few so I want  to know what are your favorite places to visit in   Poland that’s a hard question that really is I can  say well you got to have some some favorites kind

Of like if you go they’re not all the same mhm so  of course there going to be similarities so if you   go from V to pnan to wara or vava I think is in  Polish yeah is it vava vava did I say it properly

Yeah this no I said it correctly anyway go on any  right so um yeah they’re going to have a a town   square and whatnot um but they it’s like with RAV  it’s kind you mentioning in the summer that it’s

Like pastel colors on the buildings that’s why  yeah it’s beautiful so and if you look at like   an aerial view from of RAV it’s it has a mix of um  modernism with a traditional kind of quality to it

So I like a nice balance with that yeah um with  Warsaw or vava it seems much more modern I mean   that’s prob because capital and it was rebuilt  quite a lot wasn’t it yeah I think but this is

Why I like so from going to kov and and BR I love  them both because you’ve got two different things   you’ve got uh VAV here which is like I said the  ply colors it’s quite vibrant it’s quite colorful

Um in in kov you’ve got the it’s more medieval  and and so it’s it’s amazing in two different   ways um but that’s not my question my question is  what what’s of your to say so I’ve been to okay

I’ve been uh vava kov um Gans I think I’ve been  to G too so uh bidos where else have I been uhin   strin Z zop yeah I’ve be I’ve also what was this  other place called Toran Uh Wood no not been to

Wood been to you haven’t even been to Wood no not  been to Wood um nether have I if that helps catle   vit into what else there’s another place I can’t  believe it’s similar to zakan but it’s not zop

Okay all right ask answer me this if you have if  you had to move away from VAV which city in Poland   would you move to from what you’ve seen if you  had to move away from VAV so I can’t choose VW

You can’t no where which other City would you move  to and why and watch the audience we’re going to   look at the comments and be like what you didn’t  choose my city so well here’s the thing um I feel

You’re skirting this here no no no I’m thinking  I’m thinking the thing is they’re all different   I know that different you can only choose one one  of my favorite places was zop pan now people are

Going to say okay yeah well everyone chooses zop  pan and it’s only good for either the winter or   the summer because the winter the the skiing and  what well depending if there’s a lot of snow this

Year I don’t think there’s much but anyway um so  uh the holiday seasons yeah so you got the winter   and then the summer because you go out there and  you’re going to go and see I think it’s pronounced

This way morski OKO um it’s I think in English it  translates to the eye of the sea something like   that uh so OKO being the iron Mor Mori is going  to be the sea um I think now that place when I

Was there uh well now it’ be last year wouldn’t it  cuz we just had yeah it is now New Year’s Day so   when I went there for the summer it was the first  time I went to zakopane um yes it was incredibly

Busy there was literally just floods of people  everywhere um but even still just looking at   the water it was such a so is z your final answer  you would move to zachan but here’s the thing it’s   like it’s just speak it’s say it’s really hard  because okay speaking of just straight answer

Speaking of nature it’s not just like okay I’ll  go because that’s the question but think about it to live let me answer so what I’m saying is it’s  not just because of nature nature is gorgeous

Right but then there’s a lot of people that no  offense to people but I I like it with less people   right um so if I were to choose simply because  of nature then yes I would choose zakan but if

I’m choosing things of such as amenities I’m going  to have a good connection to the trains or to the   trams or nice driving in less people I’m not going  to choose zop pan where are you going to choose so

If that’s the case like I’m not going to choose  simply because I don’t know I I just just tell   me one place you would live if you weren’t living  in BR really hard question you sound like Charlie

When she’s making a kov or maybe even maybe even  Gans was soot because simply the festival perhaps   yeah okay maybe so what’s your final answer fine  if I had to give an absolute I would probably say

Soot soot there you go there is the answer so  Kane when he leaves vvav he is moving to soot   they’re not moving all right another question for  you um you’ve tried lots of Polish food you’ve   told me about all this different Polish food now  I think as as foreigners English people coming to

Um to Poland I don’t think a lot of generalizing  I don’t think we’re very adventurous with trying   different foods now I’ve tried a fair bit Now  Bigos and etc etc perogi say it right that time   roie uh and i’ so I’ve tried some stuff but  a lot of English people probably would stick

To what they know so as an English person who has  engrossed themselves in Polish life what are some   of the best foods that you think a foreigner maybe  an English person that’s another hard question oh

Forgot well I like food like what some of the  foods you think are a must try that is proper   polish okay I’ll tell you the food that person I  like yeah I love perogi perogi but it’s going to

Be for me personally it’s going to be the meat I  don’t like the cheese one that’s just my personal   okay so I like pii I like Guam so it’s um it’s  basically minced meat with other bits I can’t

Remember what else but wrapped up in R we had that  when we were in kov you can check out on the Vlog   Channel Charlie and Rob um and we had it with the  cabbage and barley wheat okay uh which was nice I

Wouldn’t have it again Charlie did like it but  I I like that I like um let me think of it rosu   is very nice too so it’s like chick basically  they call it chicken soup personally I call it

Chicken flavored soup the reason is this because  for example with Pat’s parents they will get the   chicken PR it’s the whole bird they put it in  there for the the pot which I think is called

Garnic in Polish is that right yeah uh for a  long time and they boil it they put carrots   in they put one onion in it’s very particular  they got to be drunker you find a packet and

Have one onion one p in it one uh one carrot or  two carrots it’s a little pullet and it’s ready   anyway so they’ll put all that in they’ll put  some of the sauce and not sauce sorry um gravy

No spices yeah they put that in it and what they  do then is when they serve it they serve it with   noodles so they put the noodles um they already  cut the noodles on the plate and chicken noodle

Soup but then they then get the soup and they  pour it into the bowl but there’s no chicken   okay the chicken is left in the pot okay so to me  I like what the what now personally a stew is much

Thinner right it’s thinner in in the liquid yeah  maybe soup is thicker yeah it’s really thin it’s   very watery so I call it chicken flavored broth  it sounds more like a chicken noodle soup from

The Chinese I don’t even say it’s soup I call it  like a broth but that’s just me so when they do   the chicken soup I then get them to put chicken  breast in and I atat it so there’s some of your

Favorite things I like that yeah um I like  those sorry um Bigos I I know you don’t like   it but I I I just don’t like SRA I think it’s a  not I think generalizing it’s a sauerkraut is a

Flavor that you normally are brought up on  and I think poles are brought up with it as   children and in the UK we don’t really eat it  and therefore it’s just so different for The

Taste Buds and I just can’t that uh jurk is nice  this is made with I think sour dough uh eggs and those is JK not um p uh rye wheat something like  that is that’s your sure that’s what I had with

An egg in it anyway I’m sure it’s some fermented  fermented Ry we or something it’s nice it’s very   nice what about okay oh and skyt w i I’m saying  properly Sabu C Sabu huh what you guys ate the

Other day what did we eat it’s basically pork  chop oh the pork chop yeah okay yeah they’re   pork chop that was quite nice was okay we’re  going to reverse it if you’re a poll and you

Went to to England what are some of the best  English food that you can eat now bear in mind   uh countries around the world think that English  food is quite Bland right that a common thing I

Don’t really like well I’ll eat fish and chips I  don’t mind it it would be your first choice going   Beck right one of the some of the best foods you  have to have a Sunday roast I have it with beef

Or chicken Yorkshire puddings if you don’t know  what what a Yorkshire pudding is just Google it   they are the best uh lots of gravy but you guys  don’t really know what gravy is it’s not what you

Cook it’s like a chicken stock yeah it’s made  from the meat of the of the um it’s delicious   nice crust crispy roast potatoes that’s one of the  best um mashed potatoes chopped I know you don’t   like sausage and mash got to be at Cumberland or  Lincolnshire I love sausage Mash there is kind

Of um the staple bits isn’t there of the roast  dinner and then the other bits depends on the   person depends on the family what F you want so  some people like pigs and blankets so basically

It’s it’s sausage with bacon Chistmas yeah but but  roast dinner and oh you call it Sunday roast roast   inner Sunday roast same thing um very it’s very  very similar to Christmas dinner but Christmas   dinner is a bit more the extra trimmings you know  this is the difference you’ll see now Kane is from

Up north in the UK or in England I’m from right  down south um and that’s where the accent comes   in I’ve said this before I speak more of a posh  accent um and pain is a little bit rough around

The edges so we’ve got a slight difference and in  the UK uh which I think is a difference in Poland   though in all seriousness is the polls basically  all sound the same they speak the same same

Dialect accent I would say accent maybe slightly  stronger but in the UK um we have you could go 10   minutes down the road and you’ll have a completely  different accent um so that’s a big big difference

But it also is a big with things like food um  and what quite often with what yeah with what   types of food you may have um there are lots of  differences in north south you think I think so

Yeah what would you have with chips what do you  mean would they have with chips gravy ah chips   and gravy well yeah in North they’ll have chips  and gravy they put sauses whereas down south oh

Yeah we they normally have curry sauce in England  in the north we would have curry sauce you prefer   gravy or mushy peas well the thing you got if  you’ve got fish and chips I mean in England

You’re going to have a choice depending on the  fish and Chippy or the chippy or the Chip Shop   what do you want to call it um between Cod and  hadock I mean had has there a better taste to

It it’s much more pronounced personally um and  then you’re going to have salt and vinegar and   and another thing I found over here in Poland  that when you say vinegar Al I think in Poland   is odet if I’m saying that properly um they will  have usually it’s white vinegar or clear yeah and

If you say them Brown vinegar they go you vinegar  what are you talking about but in England we need   MT vinegar like except the brown one and we pour  it all over and people who are not English or in

This case polish for example they look in austral  why would you do that why are you killing these   chips you know and there’s a difference by the  way talking of chips between chips fries and   wedges yeah would you say the difference chips  are thick yeah fries are thin yeah wedges are

Wedge shape yeah but what’s between chips and  wedgies huh what is the difference between chips   and wedgies wedgies have the normally have the  skin on and are cut in like a a wedged form like   a triangle shape triangle is I’m just trying  to just trying to think anyway yeah yeah there

Are differences isn’t there um now before we end  this end this video can you think of some of your   favorite things about living in Poland my favorite  favorite things other than patri see I’m putting   these words into into your mouth because that’s  not the first thing you said Ah that’s a great

One so with fudge um he has so each each of the  seasons of course you know winter summer spring   autumn uh he has something that he likes except  for spring because we can’t really think I think

What what I mean so in the summer he loves going  to the lake yeah so I think probably Sayo I think   and um there’s a lake not far from patrizi’s  Mom’s where we go near enough every summer I

Think know every s we’ve been there actually and  he loves swimming and I I love it because just   I could spend hours just throwing the rubber ring  in the uh in the lake and he will constantly just

Chase after it and swim back it’s brilliant um um  so that’s probably one of my favorite things to   do that I couldn’t get to do in England really  um but relating to fudge when it’s winter time

And the snow fudge loves jumping in the snow he  absolutely loves it well he is German Shepherd   isn’t he German shepherd border col B there you go  so you know but but he does you don’t get that in

Really in England unless you’re right up north  when it’s Autumn he loves the leaves yeah when   they’re fallen down he loves just digging them  uh for spring we we there’s nothing that we can   really think that he he would love doing I mean  he loves really going out for walks and whatnot

Um but yeah so generally speaking uh compared to  England of course there are lakes and whatnot in   England too but I’m talking about when I was there  I didn’t get to do that so much I didn’t really

Get to go so much out into nature um in England  that I have over here it’s um generally speaking I   think the polls it it’s really important for them  to go out in nature so in the summer they’re going

To go out cycling and um going into the woods  and whatnot um and in the winter they love they   love the snow they love going to the mountains  so that is something for me that is great and

I really like that about okay I have one more  question have you uh taken interest in Polish   Sports cuz the Polish Sports polish Sports from  what I can get is uh Ski Jumping not tried that

No well the the ski jumping is is one volley volb  uh like tennis I suppose yeah a lot of my students   love tennis what was the other one that they like  so volleyball see I when I think volleyball I just

Think horse Ryan usually so not really taken  any interest I don’t really I’m not really a   sporty kind of person um yeah uh but generally  yeah poish people generally really like which   is fantastic as well uh so if you speak to an  average person they probably would will go out

And and do some form of activity and one another  thing actually you mentioned before about things   that I like um so in England and I can always say  this generally um it’s not so common for children   to do extracurricular activities okay so after  school you know it’s like school’s finished okay

Then we’re going to go home and maybe they’ll  play with the friends outside or or whatever   in Poland what they do is generally I can’t say it  for everybody um the children will do extra things   MH so they’ll tend to have extra classes maybe  be academics they might have polish they might

Have English they might have maths and whatnot  especially if they coming towards their exams   yeah but that aside the things that I really like  is that the parents tend to encourage them to go   and say right well go and learn dance lessons go  and learn music go and learn tennis horse riding

Whatever um and I really think that’s important  do you think that’s more prominent in Poland it’s   from what I see bear in mind bearing in mind one  of my main jobs is I’m a football coach I teach   children after school football talking about  majority of people I’m not saying that this is

Existing of course it exists in to do that but I’m  saying that it it seems to be with most parents   it’s it’s an importance for the children to go and  do a lot more physical activity W there and and

I like that that’s great if you’ve got any more  questions you would like me to put towards Kane   uh maybe we’ll it’ll have to be a zoom or a Skype  call Discord call uh next time because I may not

Be here you never know may come again we’ll see  don’t know don’t know um so if you got any more   questions I can put towards Kan please do let  me know in the comments what would you like to

Know maybe some of the differences between England  and Poland from experience here who has now done   both thank you so much Kan thank you so much  thank you for letting me use your your place   love it uh fudge is great wherever he’s gone  he’s in his bed it’s fudge okay here’s another

Difference patri and Kane don’t like it because  I say fudge uh whereas they say fudge not quite   UJ not close enough F uh whereas I would call  him fudge because I’m from South England and we

Speak properly so we’re going to leave it there  no one’s going to say anything extra to that one   thank you so much thank you so much for watching  please do make sure you like And subscribe go over

To Charlie and Rob to check out our Vlogs as you  said as I said we’re already in VAV at the moment   so there’s Vlogs coming out from here thank you  so much and I will catch you next time say bye byebye

  1. The best UK food I had was a well made meat pie. Sunday roast is nothing special, it's just generic food. Polish cuisine is very regional, much more so than in the UK.

  2. Posh is most sophisticated than northern English but I prefer northern I don't know why 🙂 We have some different accents in our country try to speak with Kaszubi,Ślazacy, Górale and try to understand-good luck 😀 Your channel is never ending English lesson for me-thank you .Po polsku jednak lepiej sie wyslawiam. Traktuje te nagrania jako darmowa lekcje angielskiego. Ot tak hobbystycznie.

  3. The most non-edible food in England is sausage. I told my friend this, and he googled it. He got the answer: translation – not edible for Polish. It is true. The only worst one I have ever tried was Belgian. That one was like mashed toilet tissue with any taste. The English one tastes like mash tissue but with spices. The best food in England is beefstakes, in Irland lamb roast.

  4. – "Where would you move in Poland if you had to?"
Ekhm… Ludzi, którzy podali mi pomocną dłoń, kiedy sobie nie radziłem, kiedy byłem sam…"
    😂😂😂

  5. I see you got lost in translation of Morskie Oko. Sea Eye is the simplest translation.
Your friend’s accent , however not “posh “ is very nice and easy to listen to.

  6. Hi Rob! First of all greetings from Manchester !!!
Kane is absolutely right about rosół because as a cook, I don't call rosół a soup either, because from a technical point of view it is simply the essence of meat stock used in the kitchen as a base for 80% of soups and 50% of sauces. However, on the Polish table, rosół occupies a special place and is served with Sunday dinner, and most Polish families use the rest of the Sunday rosół to make (pomidorówka) tomato soup on Monday.

  7. as a pole living in england for 17 years, this looks to me like u are liking you balls. Do some fkn real conversation with criticism as well guys!

  9. The real rosół is not made only from a chicken. Real rosół is made of turkey, beef, duck and chicken with addition of vegetables.
"Rosół" from only chicken is a demo, a poor version.

  10. If we swap English sausage with Polish sausage, then it would be possible to eat English food. There's nothing worse than sausages rolls with no flavor at all, which you can buy in greggs, and are loved by everyone.

  13. Hello, you must have heard about the new Netflix series 1670, it shows the Polish nobility in a comedic way, the main character is blinded by his social position. The series shows the fate of this noble family. usually in such films they spoke in poetic language, but in this comedy they speak everyday language, which also gives it a comedic charm.😂

  14. Guys, you raised a doubt which is bigger: Poland or England.
Here is my helping hand: (I will go metric, rounded figures)
Poland 312k sq km (square kilometers)
    England 130k + Wales 21k = 151k sq km
    You are surprised, aren't you?

PS. The whole UK is 240k sq km -:)

  15. Nice vid. 🙂By the way, in Poland there are also a different accents, depending of the region, and even of the city region, in bigger cities.

  17. There is one sport that is practiced by at least half of Poles, i.e. about 20 million, and regularly every year, some start in June and all finish when the first frosty days come in autumn. This is mushroom picking or mushroom hunting😉

  18. Hey Rob. I live in London.
Even though I do find English food a bit bland, I still do like it 🙂 i love all sorts of pies, Sunday roast, nice thick soups. They're not that spicy, sour or sweet, but I find those dishes great for cold days, hangover or when I haven't eaten much throughout the whole day, so I can fill my belly in evening with some nice meal 🙂

  19. Idk the washing machine argument is kinda funny to me. The reason a washing machine 'should' be in the bathroom is cuz all the dirty clothes are stored there n there's no need to keep clothes n food in the same place.

  20. I like a stake with a peppercorn sause. I like an English breakfast as well. Let's be honest, the best British food is Chinese and an Indian food :).
