Today I took a simple walk around Charnwood waters.
Charnwood Water is a lake surrounded by trees and a circular footpath just short of one mile. It is around 27 acres and is used mainly for leisure purposes. It also offers visitors several places to sit and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Many families enjoy visiting Charnwood Water but the site is also very popular site with dog walkers and runners.
The Tuckers Road entrance to Charnwood Water can be easily accessed by foot, bicycle, car, or bus. Visitors can also access the site by foot and bicycle via the footpath from Leicester Road.
Charnwood Water is situated off Tuckers Road, Loughborough, LE11 2PH and there is a free car park available.
The car park is open from 7.30am-9pm.
