Visma-Lease-a-Bike just lost one of their most powerful riders, Primož Roglič, to Bora-Hansgrohe, and while they will undoubtedly continue to thrive as a team, many believe their job at the 2024 Tour de France will be much harder without him. Visma Lisa bike just lost one of their most powerful Riders Primos rogl to Bora H grower and while they will undoubtedly continue to thrive as a team many believe their job at the 2024 tour to France will be much harder without him but how will visma venture into the

Unknown and how crazy of a summer can we really expect see the exit of Primos rogich left a significant Gap in the visma team and one place where they have surely been thrown into a wild unknown is the tour France where yona’s vinga Gore is the defending champion and while

RIT wasn’t necessarily responsible for vinga Gore’s last yellow Jersey directly he did take on the leadership at the jro which meant one or more Riders were at 100% for the tour to help yonis achieve his back-to-back Victory but as that might be a bold claim there’s one more

Side to the story visma now has to directly compete against rogl and they’re aware that will require a different dynamic after all he’s got a very strong Borah hands grower team around him and nobody really knows what to expect from them this upcoming summer one thing is for certain though there’s

No other Rider who knows so well what he wants or someone who can use his experience as well as Primos can 2024 will be Rog glitch’s First World Tour season without the Dutch Squad and while some adaptation will definitely have to take place there’s plenty of time for

That before the tour to France the Slovenian Rider joined Lotto NL jumbo in 2016 and back then the squad was still very small and fresh but they Rose to the top together as one throughout the years that followed rogl scored jumbo visma their first Grand Tour Victory

Back in 2019 where he thrived at the welta A espia and went on to get himself arguably one of the most complete stage race lists of achievements in the professional pelaton the team CEO even labeled rogich as the king because of his incredible presence and performance

On and off the bike the team made it clear that they want to eventually replace Primos but they admitted that currently there’s no ready-made substitute for him and while it’s true that without him there are far less difficult conversations discussions and choices in the coaching group there’s

Also the other hand of the fact he was simply so demanding that he lifted the team to a higher level because to reach his standards they simply had to evolve and how could you not when you’re pressured by a rider managed to accumulate 74 victories with the team

And all of that is the reason why rit’s move to Bora hrow is set to reshape the race for the yellow Jersey in 2024 in a major way there won’t just be a battle between pogacha and vagor anymore a third King just entered the picture and

Out of all he’s probably got the most unfinished business with the tour and mind you while the two-time reigning Champion will be shadowed by sep cous under their newly renamed team rogy pogar and aen pole are all looking forward to dethroning the defending Champion the race is literally so highly

Anticipated some people started claiming that it’s about to be a four-way fight of the caliber that we haven’t seen since Chris FR Alberto contador Vincenzo nibali and nairo Quintana battled it out in the 2015 race and back then the team was hoping it would look quite a bit

Different than it did even vima’s Riders agree with that Robert gazin said Primos is one of the four Riders who is a certainty for success in stage races our team would have liked to keep two of those Riders that’s why we were excited about the possible arrival of Remco aen

Poole in the merger with sudal quickstep but that didn’t work out now while jumbo visma did complete the 2023 season by sweeping all the grand Tours with three different riders in the future the team might have a hard time staying ahead and could face a tough challenge in maintaining control guessin rode

Alongside rogl in all three of his velta a espia victories as well as a good chunk of his stage races where he emerged on top the experienced Dutch Rider is confident that the team just renamed to visma Lisa bike will do well even without rogich knowing his former

Captain skills as well as any other Rider does he said we still have a strong block that is well attuned to each other the fact that the team can win a grand tour even without Primos was proven in the tour last season and that’s totally true as well as they’ve

Just gotten some newcomers that have the potential to boost the team as well see a big reason jumbo visma was able to dominate the other teams in recent grand Tours aren’t only the abilities of their individual Riders but also the team’s strength and depth and those two attributes will weaken a little going

Into the 2024 especially at the tour to France from what we know right now woot van art might not race the tour after his Jiro ditalia debut and Nathan van hunk was also required to retire because of his health issues so he’s out of the frame as well despite that visma Lisa

Bike will still line up for the tour to France’s depart with their strongest selection of riders it’s just that the added muscle at UAE team Emirates and Bora Hans grower will give them a much harder time and the Gap likely won’t be as huge as it used to be at the end of

The day jumbo visma Rose to the top because of their total cycling approach and their Ma maximal gains methodology they will continue racing to their own strengths instead of adjusting their racing to the opposition even if they have to beat their once King Primos RIT

To achieve that and all of that is going to be very entertaining to watch while the neutral cycling enthusiasts will probably be the biggest winners of rit’s transfer but rogl of course is just as big of a winner in that regard his transfer was an inevitable consequence

Of the team’s rise from Rags to Riches and he simply didn’t see it as a challenge anymore rogl assured that the reason for his transfer wasn’t what everyone was thinking and the Welter drama had nothing to do with it he admitted a few years ago I taught yannas

And sep everything they looked up to me and now their numbers one and two for me we made history and I was part of it but even if I had won the velta I still would have left I simply have greater opportunity elsewhere to achieve what

I’m still fighting for it wasn’t a tough decision but rather a natural one after what happened at the wter where vagor got added to the roster and cous became GC cous which turned out into one of the most dramatic grand Tours ever rogich had to step behind them and make do with

The bottom of the podium in Madrid as he said It felt uncomfortable because it’s my responsibility to win races on the other hand it wasn’t just about me it was also about the team and no one deserves it more than sep at that point it just felt like rogl ran out of road

At jumbo visma vagor became a rider set to wreak havoc at the tour to France which is the only Grand Tour rogl hasn’t won yet and he knew that in order to have a fair shot at winning it he would have to change teams on the other hand Borah hanser

Promised they would help rugit take on his ex-teammates and Tade pogacha at the 2024 tour to France which would make his long wished for dream become reality the Welter controversy was just the final push RIT needed to sign with Bora and as of right now it’s looking like for the

Better RIT said I achieved the maximum I could with jumbo it got to the point where I had to leave it doesn’t detract from how happy I was on the podium in Madrid hopefully I will be even happier in future photos and in a different Jersey in simple words rogich moved away

From the team that made him who he is to find space for the only thing that’s left on his bucket list the tour to France but will the gamble he made pay off he left the best team team and he’s aware that he joined a team that’s not

Better than the one he just came from however they’re an ambitious and rebol Powerhouse in progress in his words no risk no glory if the moment doesn’t come I have no regrets people sometimes ask what would you like to change about your life look how many wonderful things I

Have experienced I wouldn’t change anything at all but it would still be beautiful if he could achieve that one last yellow thing he’s wished for so hard his entire career re

    1. I love me some Primoz, this is a funny story. If Primoz makes to stage 10 of the TDF I’ll be impressed. He can’t stay off the Pavement. Visma has a much stronger team for 2024. It will come down to Jonas and Tadej again. Flip a coin between those two.

    2. I enjoy watching Primoz race, but his best days are behind him. The new generation of pros is coming in and get ready for a complete change in the leadership. Jonas is a force, but without someone pulling him to the last 10k's he won't make it. But Visma has riders to do that. Whereas Bora has a whole lot of leaders but no pullers. Primoz will never win a grand tour again on that squad.

    3. Sometimes someone like Primoz, even though he is not at every race, is the glue that holds a team together. It will be interesting to see VLAB react to not just Pogacar, but also Roglic and Remco. Jonas could lose as everyone else tries to win.

    4. They don't have much to worry about. Worst thing that can happen is that they have 3 GT podiums without a win😂 *Primoz will only win the Vuelta(hopefully defending his Olympic TT gold)…assuming he races it

    5. Can’t remember the last time that Primoz even finished the tour without crashing out. He’s had an amazing career, but that race has never been in the cards for him I don’t think

    6. I hope for a exiting battle with 4 riders that can be on top until the very end in Nice.
But i do have a feeling that Pogacar is taking on to much with the Giro and Tour this upcoming season.

    7. The big problem is that Rogs takes his supply of special Slovene Soca River water (pumped from a private well on the property of the "don" of Slovene cycling, former rider, known doper, Andrej Hauptman) with him. Maybe that's why WVA looks so average this CX campaign.

    8. realistically jonas will destroy the TDF again, and visma might make sepp kuss the lead for la vuelta. I just dont think bora has the firepower that visma has.

    9. I'm kind of glad Jumbo Visma has changed its name. Now we won't have to listen to these idiots butcher their name. Good gawd, can't you people do even the smallest amount of research and get it right?

    10. It was ok, when Pogačar was the best TdF cyclist, to have Vingegard and Roglič in one team. Now, when the best TdF cyclist is Vingegard, we need other strong teams. It would be really crazy if Visma and Quick Step merge. But now it seems that we will have a lot of fun.

    11. Yes Primoz will be sorely missed, but to suggest Visma will collapse is hilarious, completely forgetting that Jonas is still the numer 1 GC rider in the world. Personally, I have high expectations for Ben Tulett. For the future, I think he is going to outshine even Cian Uijtdebroeks at Visma, let's keep our eyes on Ben.

    12. WTF, Primoz best days have been over for a while, get over it, Visma did and they don’t make too many mistakes, you know that. Sounds to me like you had nothing else better to do.
