The only issue that I see in the future with these self drivers cars is that the "driver", the human behind the wheel, will just use his / her phone cause the car is driving by itself. I'm sure Tesla will build in a detection to prevent this from happening. I hope they will…

As a pedestrian I much prefer my chances with a stationary car and the driver on his phone than a cyclist barrelling through red lights, across Zebra Crossings, going the wrong way down a one way street, leaving his bike parked in the middle of the pavement, speeding, getting damaged by an untraceable uninsured 2 wheel warriors etc
