About it all week the emotive value that comes with playing at Kings home um 150 years gluster this year um first under first team whether it’s the women’s men’s um any age group F first team to to play at Kings home this year I it’s it’s always special so they got added
Responsibility today and look I know that you were disappointed with some of the results uh last year in the academy league but 2024 we’re hitting it fresh and you’ve been working hard so what are the goals now um it’s always cyclical um you know boys are always working hard
Successful playing programs Chon College de close harur College the ace Champions once again this year so there’s plenty of Talent on show it’s um it’s it’s a case of the boys expressing themselves and showcasing it today for those who haven’t had the opportunity to see gler
So far this season who are some of those talents give us a few names to keep our eyes peeled for I I think it’d be unfair to to single out um too many um I think our back row have an influence today um some International Quality on our back
Row um there’s some there’s some young 16y olds out there today as well so there’s some there’s some there experienced an exciting talent to come through but I think it’d be unfair to to single out any names okay and then lastly your opposition today what do you
Got to get right against quins just defensively I think whether you play quin’s Under 14s or the Quinn’s first team you know what’s coming so um I think if if we can disrupt some set piece and be organized and aggressive in defense as you’d expect from a
Gloucester side then I think we’ll be somewhere near we’re looking forward to it go well thanks very much thank you right Jared great to see you and we’re looking forward to seeing the academy in action it’s been a few months so what have you and the lads been up to yeah no
It’s been it’s been uh I our last game kind of back in the summer The Lads themselves and back in school like you know fully focused on their school programs but we’ve had you know a few sessions on Monday nights we had a camp uh at Seaford over the over the holidays
Um so I think we’re well prepared we also had uh couple day sessions last week as the lad were still off school so everyone’s looking forward to today you know great weather great place to come is King’s home so can’t wait coming off the back of the action in August what
Some of the things that you’ve been focusing on in that period on those camps and in those Monday night sessions ahead of you know today’s fixture and the ones to come yeah for sure I think the things we’ve mainly looked at are probably more accurate in the in the 22
So how can we get over the tri line more and and working on our systems and processes there and also probably how can we exit better uh in our own 22 so kind of had a big focus on either either end of the pitch really um so hopefully
We’ll see that come to uh the four today and the Personnel who’s out there today I know you’ll be excited to see the team as a unit but any particular players you’re looking forward to seeing in action um yeah I think I think Jimmy Sables our captain is always um a big
Player for us you know great leader tough guy um he’ll be very important for us today oi streer a tight head good Ball Carrier um Elliot Williams he’s under 17 guy but he’s G really really well um you know Ben webs got a great kicking game a fly half um and some good
Pace out wide as well so you know Isaac and Tyler and and Elliot so hopefully we can give them some opportunities today so that’s the current crop but let’s just have a little chat about last year’s crop because three of them named in the England under 20s side to play uh
Coming up Lucas Schmid Josh Bellamy and Shan K you must be immensely proud and it’s a great reflection of what the program’s doing yeah I think for sure that’s what it’s all about really isn’t it it’s great to see you know those guys move into the you know the first te
Environment with with senior Academy contracts and you know push into with England 20s and hopefully they’ll be you know we’ll see them play for um in in the Six Nations but uh know it’s fantastic they’ve been great um so it’s a big adjustment going into kind of full-time rugby from the under 18s
Program but I feel we prepare them well and hopefully we’ll see guys playing here today that will uh be wearing the Quin Jersey at the St in a few years time we look forward to seeing the next ones off the conveyor belt us also thank you very
Much well quins are looking to continue their undefeated run which admittedly is only one game but against the toughest of outfits London South Central which they knocked back many months ago and they’re calling upon quite a few of the 15 that delivered that victory at cin

Flight but from that bright opening Quin had some dominance and they deployed their back row namely Jacko Kelly on a perfect line that pierced the Gloucester defense before he bounced off his right boot round the last man and had the pace to burn the defense and finish smartly underneath the

Captain great inspiration for this Academy side who at the moment are dominant but they don’t have the points to show they break away not through their own doing as the ball squirts out but come Cummings still driving forward with bodies of quins and Gloucester players alike jenard Underneath
Him and gluster for a third time a held up over the Harley Quinn’s Line off goes o allport still goes o Ora o Ora oh that is outrageous a wrecking ball Masterpiece of a try with Pace Poise and power all the way into the leftand corner of King’s home but here he is through one he had the cover coming across he had the strength

Dying on his laces from the scrappiness that follows the referee just says let’s bring it back for the scrum but lovely little look at math Jones there very smart young player opened up for him and well had it been anyone other than Kyo James you’d suspect that that s side
