As a yankee bike-nerd, (USA will always benefit from "Brit-fluence'd" cycling culture ), I'd love to know: Which of these models are properly MADE in UK? They are all awesome, but several, (like the Kinesis), are manufactured where 95% of all modern bikes are built, (which most certainly isn't Britain!). Road.cc has done the cycling community many favors with this wonderful channel and its cleanly-styled presentations….And all of these British brands have also benefited the cycling world, (with such sensible designs, functionality, and materials-choices)……having said all that, we wouldn't mind knowing if any of these fine machines are still hand-crafted in her majesty's empire?
Be nice if they could have a high stem/bar combo on these types of bikes also, bad back and arthritus means i cannot enjoy these as they cripple me, not everybody wants to be head down going for a ride with your mates same as bland hybrids, it discriminates from us folk who want to have a bit of bling while being all day comfy too, every bike shop looks the same to me it gets boring.
Such awful shit sloping top tube crap, when will they listen, we want traditional straight top tube Racing Bikes not mountain bike geometry on a racing bike
How many of those frames are actually made in Britain? Shand, obviously, unless this off the shelf model was farmed out to Taiwan (clearly the best global manufacturer, I'm not snubbing that). Any more? Oh, the Brompton, right… they still made in London? Ribble, no. Genesis, no.
A camera man l am definitely not but neither is the person who videoed this. Far too many ultra closeup shots that were blurred to the point of not being able to see the details they were trying to show and then a final bit to show the complete bike. If l did not know better l would think that was what they were trying to do. Very underwhelming video, which provided me with little to know idea what the bikes really looked like. 😡
I like Ribble bikes! My Ribble took me touring, cyclocrossing and triathlon. It was a belter! Then I broke the frame and so transferred all the orignail campag stuff onto a Dolan! Another great machine! I think the Ribble CGR is the one for me!!! Now where is that piggy bank?
So many bikes are made in the UK. What do UK bike manufacturers have to do to get the same air time as Far East made ones. Shand (mentioned on here)/Quirk Cycles/Meteor/Enigma/Saffron to name a few who make in the UK. We have a manufacturing base to be proud of but the Cycling magazines etc look the other way absolute Traitors to the State.
Presenter obviously new to British cycling. What about Bob Jackson, Mercian? Ellis Briggs? Woodrup? Still being made. Every Whyte we have in for servicing or repair is usually poorly built

I really like the shiny metal look of a lot of these bikes. Makes me want to buy one just for cruising around.
Id like to get a brompton, but, theyre too heavy… Almost 2x as much as my road bike
Beautiful retro classic bikes lovely awesome, they must be bloody expensive
Condor Accacio looks amazing, the best in the video.
Ribble bikes
Field wasn’t there?
"Best of British…" then at 0:20 'Handmade in Italy' eh?
I will be visiting Condor to test ride the Fratello disc

Very simple, I like them all! ☺️
Ribble
Fairlight
"Dave hind" bikes are the English Colnago!..Also "Sabbat" sex on wheels like an Aprilia motor bike….Warton.Lancs.
Love my CGR AL but would love to maintain n+1 with a Whyte.
I keep coming back that Condor Fratello disc.
That’s the bike I would be on most days.

Oui le sport fait du bien, suis cardiaque ça m'a sauvé.
6:45 "…overlapping seat stays, the likes of which we have never seen before." – seems like the sort of thing that you could show to the viewers.

no mention of the recumbent trike? ICE VTX is a british product
Titanium is making a strong comeback.
Lovely but the Condor and Shand are glorious but I'll take them all.
Vielo
British bikes and made in Italy….
Decent presentation.
They’re all nice, but the fratello disc looks beautiful!
ON COMPREND RIEN À CE QUE TU RACONTES DUCON
These shows need to advertise more. I'd love to go to one.. Nice.
most bikes look more or less identically, all probably from the same manufacturer in china :- D
The Genesis. Not necessarily the titanium one, an aluminium one would do me.
How about Factor?
I haven't ridden a British bike that could ride like a Mercian in many a year.
So sick of every road bike now being disc. Pointless fashion fad.

No Thorn bike there. One of the best Audax and Touring bike makers in the UK. But hey, they don't need to go to a show and shout about it!
Most of them are NOT British in the sense that they are made in the Far East. Be honest Road CC or do your homework.

No Orro bikes?
