    Into France and servicing the oil checking everything out was very easy if you can use a screwdriver you can service your bike I know that we’ve got problems with people not being able to use screwdrivers now nowadays but she’s been a lovely machine so a quick a quick

    Roundup of what happened with this bike I went to Triumph Staffordshire and this was a pre-registered bike with zero miles on it it was about 3 weeks old uh from a registration perspective and I then purchased it for the price of 10,600 which also included the jivy mount plate which was something like

    £170 so the net effect was the bik was something like 10,400 £30 brand new well it was 3 weeks old um and it’s uh it’s been absolutely wonderful if you’re thinking about getting a tri of 900 you can get them now second hand uh 200 and 20 play with probably very

    Little mileage cuz there are so many garage Queens out there um for probably somewhere around £99,000 maybe even less and you should consider that you really should consider that um it’s it’s been a wonderful machine it is super comfy the cruise control is absolutely wonderful it’s first time

    I’ve had Cruise uh and it makes such a difference when you’re going on the long Journeys it’s super smooth it’s very economical however it’s not as economical as the 800 previous version every time uh when when I went down with Mark to Mark and Charlie to uh to France

    Every time I filled every time we filled up I was putting in to the tank two and a half more liters of fuel than Mark was on his 800 tiger so the 800 tiger is more economical even though this one’s meant to be uh even though this one’s meant to be

    More you less compliant and all that kind of rubish everything’s been absolutely fine on the bike I haven’t had to change the front pads or the rear pads yet even though it’s got 8,000 mil on it um the tires are doing really well I’m surprised these metlers are absolutely

    Fine uh and although the although the uh rear tire is a little uh flat does have a little bit of a flat spot from doing all the motorway work uh it it’s it’s absolutely fine I think I’ve got probably got another 2,000 miles on that what else can I tell you about it

    If you’re thinking about buying a Touring bike this is a really really good example it’s been Ultra reliable um it’s been absolutely wonderful uh it’s still it’s so e economical relatively it’s got the cruise control I’ve done a couple of additions on it I got the uh

    The cheaper quad loock uh and that was something like15 on eBay rather than the typical quad loock uh that is something like 60 plus uh careful what you create in plastic the Chinese will make it cheaper there we are that’s my mindset the CH and the Chinese are making it cheaper uh

    They don’t care about paintting and things like that uh which is either good or bad don’t uh you know but quadlock need to reduce their price to make to remain competitive that’s another that’s another subject uh it’s I went and bought the center stand off Marketplace and that cost something like £100 some

    Guy had a spare one I bought the Scott Oiler and the Scott Oiler is really important because with the with the Scott Oiler it really does lubricate your chain well and as such from the sub 8,000 miles that I’ve done uh I haven’t had to adjust the

    Chain and the chain does not need to be adjusted uh that said I’m not popping wheelies all the time uh in fact I very rarely pop wheelies and this does really well uh but that’s uh that’s another subject uh the Scot Oiler stops the chain from needing adjustment it’s

    Constantly lubricating the chain and it’s in 8,000 mil I have not had to adjust the chain which is amazing uh the Scott Oiler again second hand off Marketplace uh this is the electronic Scott Oiler that’s rigged up to your battery not the vacuum system that was

    £100 uh what else have I put on it Ah that’s about it I ended up getting the uh panier from Triumph staffer cuz they got an abundance of stock and uh including the rack and the two paner the two metal paner uh which are great uh that cost me £550 which was a

    Giveaway so for two paner and the rack uh £550 I can’t think of anything more that I’ve done to this you should you know if you’re looking at a good quality bike that’s going to be ultra reliable and cheap to run then you should look at this and the reason why I’m

    Having coffee out of a flask is just to prove a financial point every time you have a coffee at Starbucks or cost a coffee my coffee cost something like £470 I do have a caramel shot in it and that’s for a a small one or a regular or whatever you call

    It so if you have a coffee at let’s say 4 pound a day over 10 days that’s 40 over 30 days that is £1 120 so if you just stopped having one coffee a day from Starbucks or Costa Coffee and took a flask or a bottle of

    See I’m wearing these iron JS heated gloves I know it says 7 de but uh it feels so much colder than that feels so much colder so what’s the trium tiger like 94 horsepower never use 94 horses but it’s got more than enough power I think where it could where the

    94 horses come for me is uh when it’s cruising on the uh when it’s cruising on the motorways over in France and things like that where the speed limit is more than 70 mph uh and so front to bike 19in front wheel I think I think uh and that feels

    Great it doesn’t fall into the corners it’s really really stable the standard wind screen that’s shown in front of us uh which is which can move up and down whilst you’re riding there we are let’s put it down so you get a better View there we are you can adjust it

    While you’re riding um and that screen is very good the fairing to the left and to the right protects your upper and lower legs uh from the rain so that’s a good thing especially if you’re you know going down the motorways or whatever at 50 mph

    Plus uh the controls on the on the handlebars are easily used sometimes I feel that the start button is a a fair reach with my little thumbs but you get used to that uh but uh so all the controls are very good this is the very first bike I’ve ever

    Had with cruise control and it is absolutely wonderful if you’ve never had cruise control you don’t know what you’re missing especially if you’re a a longdistance rider so like I’ve said this has got just under 8,000 miles on it and we’ve now had it a year uh

    It’s been all the way down to France and down to the Alps and it’s been absolutely wonderful absolutely Flawless uh the first service I don’t know what the service intervals are on these I think they’re every 6,000 but I did a service at 4,000 on the understanding that I was uh

    Going down to France and would be returning with 7,000 on the clock or something like that and uh I did the first service and noted that in the service book uh and it’s absolutely wonderful then I have to do the uh the valve clearance at 12,000 which

    Will be some point in in next year 2024 so that will be done by me uh I don’t need to take it into the Triumph Center for them to do it for500 don’t need that uh so that should be straightforward so the tank holds about 200 M range if you’re nice and steady

    With it and most people that buy the this kind of bike will be generally generally speaking Be steady steady Riders the suspension is great and adjustable yeah so that’s good uh and the rear suspension does need adjusting when you have a pan or lots of luggage

    On uh it does handle much better when you adjust it as per the specifications within the manual so take time to read that detail out yeah let’s go into here uh the tires have been absolutely great these metlers that come with the Tiger have still got lots

    Of tread on them they’ve still got lots of tread and as I say they’ve just done under 8,000 Miles the bike has been off-road with limited use uh and it handles okay for a large 900 so but you got to remember it’s a big bike but generally speaking 99% of the

    Time this is on the roads or in the Alps and enjoying the ride I don’t use it for commuting because I work from home and when I do go into the office which is generally speaking once a month uh I tend to go in the car I don’t really want to

    Waste 300 miles Journey on on the bike for just going into work it’s not necessary it’s simply not necessary there’s no one behind me let’s go over here let’s go over here the seat is super comfy super comfy so you’ll never have any uh problems I

    Find that the diff the difference on the 800 is the seat is a bit lower uh but that’s super comfy as well on the 800 but this is the 900 that we’re talking about where can we park up and have a look at this bik here we are we can park up here

    I’m wondering if I’m going to be able to film but yeah yeah it’s absolutely it’s an absolutely wonderful bike let’s get off oh that’s ungainly the luggage rack system from Triumph absolutely wonderful let’s turn these gloves off absolutely wonderful the uh the luggage the metal luggage

    Although I do have a a normal JY on the bike uh like I say this is the rear tire I know it’s gone a bit Square I know it’s gone a bit square but uh there’s still plenty of tread on it it’s probably another 2 or 3,000 miles on that I know it’s
