In this video, I share with you the second part of a 6-day motorcycle trip, together with my wife, in the north-east of Romania, in a wonderful region called Bucovina.

Hello, i’m glad to see you again in this rainy morning ! Today we will cross the Transrarau pass – DJ175B A 30 km long mountain road witch crosses the Rarau massif at 1400m altitude The weather forecast predicts rain in the first part of the day But we cannot be discouraged

The guest house where we stayed used to be a mill And this river operated the mill wheel If you want to enjoy the scenery and travel safely, you don’t have to rush The good part is that on these roads the traffic is low A short break for some drone shots

It started raining and unfortunately my drone is not waterproof 🙂 I landed it and we took our rain gear I don’t need expensive equipment, the one from Decathlon is perfect and very cheap I hoped that we would run away from the rain, but it intensified

We couldn’t miss the opportunity to take a picture from a viewpoint Suddenly …a firefighter intervention car Not a good sign… …and a reminder to ride carefully From here begins a steep descent, with a lot of turns In good weather and dry asphalt is even more beautiful 🙂

The road is narrow and you have to be careful to the oncoming traffic Luckily the rain is ending The driver signaled me to reduce speed Accident The ambulance we saw earlier, was here The policeman signaled that I can pass At the beginning I did saw the damaged car

In fact, the car was down in the abyss I had to stop The fireman told us that there were no serious casualties The car came from below and lost control in the curve You can imagine the speed He jumped like on trampoline

The fireman told us to drive slowly because the road is slippery I found out that there was a family with a child in the car And the father, was a beginner driver… They were lucky because they hit the tree, first This softened their fall

The car was pulled out by a forestry tractor I honestly doubted that they would succeed I was afraid the cable will snap Succes My wife told me to drive slowly, as if I hadn’t done so until now 🙂 The rain starts again

I had to take a picture, you know i like suspension bridges 🙂 We arrived at “Poiana Teiului” viaduct (The linden glade viaduct) The perfect place for a drone shot Unfortunately, I did not estimated correctly, the height of the trees 🙂 He felt from here and… … nothing broke “Take two”

Lake Bicaz is the second largest in Romania And a great tourist attraction But today we had a different route in mind The weather has warmed up So we took off our raincoats And we saw a curious calf I think he liked my motorcycle 🙂 The weather was perfect and the curves, smooth

The “perfect” moment for the Gopro to ruin again, the recording Entering Toplita, a small village with heavy traffic So i decided to turn back on a different route Instead of helping me, the GPS confused me more Finally I found the shortcut This time I chose a low cost accommodation 30Euro/night :0

Honestly, I was a little bit nervous, but in the end the room was super ok At this price you can’t complain about the view from the room :)) We went to a nearby restaurant for the dinner And we really ate well and cheaply

    1. Hi TR, I think I've mentioned it before, I just love your videos. What I like most, is that you show, that you don't need a 1250 ccm bike, to have lovely rides. Two up on a 250, and of we go… And those roads in your country, well, I'm getting to old to go there on a bike, but I can enjoy them on my computer…

    2. Riding in the rain in Romania – people advised me to be careful. On tarmac and especially on unpaved trails like ACT or TET. Luckily we had August heat and no rain at all. Maybe next time, Adrian. Have a great weekend, Günter/Nürnberg
