From Safi (video starts at Kirkop tunnel) to Uni in 36 minutes, cycling today at 8am morning traffic. Overtook a total of 122 cars and 5 buses in the Kirkop tunnel road alone (including the road before entering and after exiting), 32 cars and 1 bus from Qormi to Ħamrun, and 8 cars at Msida. A total of 162 cars and 6 buses. I think there was probably even more traffic earlier, at 7am or 7.30am.
Msida is actually quite safe to commute because the bus lane, the zebra / traffic lights, the narrow-street shortcut at 1:32 and the underground skatepark passage make the trip quite calmer.
