Is over there it’s a very windy one the weather’s horrendous pig it’s pretty windy it’s windy we’re loaded we are loaded we got the darners i got two bananas he’s got sandwiches yeah and we got the garments which is still connecting but that’s fine we know where we’re going

Across the sea we’re going to cross the ocean yeah fact though did you know this harbour here you probably do know that i do know this pool harbour is one of the biggest all the biggest second to sydney second okay second to sydney naturally formed harbour in the world that’s

Mental it’s islands within the harbor that’s how big it is all right let’s get on this ferry it’s a chain ferry bicycle chain no phase Sand it’s not the one richard so much sound there’s so much sun so much sand our sand riding skills are getting an absolute workout i thought we were bringing fat bikes i wish i did bring my third bike i wish i bought a maybe a ktm 250 oh yeah

Look at it those sandals deals have been horrible in this set actually it would have been yeah actually quite raw all right we’re going right in a minute yeah hopefully off the sand we’ve just come from paul from pool harbour obviously that is swanish behind us yep home to

Legendary oyo man ben deacon we’ve done 10 miles we’ve got 50 miles to go i know it’s very windy it’s very windy it was very sandy to start with as well but we are smiling we’re still good we are following the jurassic coastline it’s really famous for finding artifacts of dinosaurs and all

That jazz dead ones dead ones bottles yeah like super really good like really definitely oh we need a cup of tea a big cake and some keg let’s do it the weather’s got horrendous horrendou pig it’s awful coats are needed now we’ve we’ve given in until this long but now it’s got Can you see how much bug i am you’re pretty buggy i look at it look at that no you can’t see anything nothing i was just saying the rich i was like imagine if we didn’t have a computer a garmin or anything yeah like you’d be lost

Especially like commute map in our ride as well yeah we wouldn’t know where to go right we’ve been going for 15 miles 1700 feet of climbing almost 15 miles two hours moving time we’ve got a fair bit together we have got four more hours right let’s do it let’s do it

Right this tea room is an absolute lifesaver we’re dying trying to figure out how we’re going to get around that low of worth firing range come to a tea room somewhere in the middle of bloody nowhere richard this is the best find of the day it’s good

It’s much needed isn’t it 100 and it looks nice and we’ve ordered so much everything on the menu that’s what we’re talking about Because our route has been diverted and we can’t go through low worth range because they’re shooting cannons i’m actually going on to the kamu app to redirect our route and actually it’s not as far as we thought we thought we’re going to have four hours riding yeah but luckily it’s

Down to 12 miles in about an hour and a half at the top which is the biggest bonus so proof that we can’t uh go the way we planned unfortunately that big old red flower gay blake that big old red flag means do not enter or you get cool that’s very serious

Wow yeah it’s serious blood red flag means blood i don’t think that’s what it actually means i think it’s warning danger we should just say that it’s because it makes it more gnarly oh that’s like pretty dramatic then yeah yeah blood blood blood yeah blood oh my god that was interesting we didn’t

Get out on camera because we got told off bridge no tanks on camera i’m afraid uh yeah as soon as we started filming stop in the name this is my first bite packing yeah we’ve been excluded from a military zone yeah told off by the military 50 mile an hour yeah

I’m loving it blake Dude look at that london oh ceo that is so beautiful look at it poking this little head through look at it look at it it’s pretty nice it’s actually really gorgeous tonight it’s actually a good sight campsite is literally just down there one climb to go well it says one climb to go

But that looks like the campsite there There’s the campsite we are nearly there across the valley Tight done finally right just run that time lapse man oh that’s just setting up tents actually we might have to explain how to set it up to rich he’s never set one up how do you set up a tent this is how Done look at that now rich what do you think of these tents i set up a template myself look at that do you know i’m genuinely pressed these toe peak tents are very clever yeah by camper they are by camp by camper bike by camper yeah a buy camper

Anyway we set these things up we’re gonna do our mats put it all in there for our sleeping equipment but yeah just i love these tents would you know for like i’ve not done obviously i’ve got your helpful hand to show me what to do but they were very simple one down

Done why wouldn’t you and it goes all in that little bag on the front of your bike brilliant uh rich i reckon we should uh d-robe get d-robed re-robe re-robe ourselves exactly and go down there pop pop pop you sleep well yeah yeah it seems to be wetter in my tent

And outside of it somehow mouth breathing man Packed up we’re gonna head back up this hill go get a coffee get some breakfast and then quickly try and beat that rain home because it’s forecast for rain again rich i know and today i’d like a nicer day than yesterday but yeah we’ve survived to tell the tale so far

Yeah and guess what what we’re going east and the prevailing winds from west so we’re gonna have a tailwind yes breakfast breakfast farm shop breakfast oh yeah last time that is the best time and coffee all right oh actually yeah coffee oh grinding coffee i think i’ve converted you

Yeah you have well that was a thousand that was a bust that was a bus another farm shop they don’t do no farm breaking right there is a uh garden and they actually do good breakfast and a good tea Next we are working for this breakfast with a belly full of earl grey and lovely bacon it was time for us to get back on the bikes and head back to pool Cow’s breakfast amazing that’s good on it it was much needed i know and look look at the big yellow ball in the sky coats are off the sun’s come out we’re doing a lovely ride for some big cornfields here yeah uh what are we about seven or eight

Miles in so it’s early days yet but um if it stays like this all day it’s gonna be an absolute stunner bike packing’s gone back up in my estimation Oh i was too good i got soaked the ford forwarded me Rich what does that sign say tea room tea room east creech tea room time hey blake we’ve made it we’re back and it’s not raining here so we can like sit up in the sun i can dry out from riding through the ford oh yes the cake house Oh look at the size of that stick look at that that’s a big stick i can go in your mag a tree oh here’s a tree hang on we’ve got more oh no all the trees gone that was close all right let’s carry on I think uh we’re nearly there aren’t we nearly there the uh the hills no the end is in sight i’ll be honest i’m enjoying myself i’m enjoying bike packing i would highly recommend this but no racing no racing [Applause] yeah and we crack on back to the end

We yeah i reckon so on and off mainly on road yeah with the diversion it’s a bit tricky wasn’t it yeah but i was epic how was epic i thank you for helping me venture into the world of bike packing for the first time it’s so good isn’t it i feel well

Prepared for what i’ve got to cut out oh you’ve got a big ride yeah i’ve got a bigger it’s like three that’s more of a racy speed it’s like a point to point here’s a point to point and it’s a hell of a point it’s a good point yeah
