      欧阳妈妈的口才真的很好，描诉得好清晰啊，让我从另一个侧面了解我自己国家曾经在外国人眼里真实的样子，然后普通话比我妈妈还好。祝欧阳妈妈身体健康，天天开心！ 有空欢迎回来大陆游玩！大陆现在环境也更好了，旅游各方面会很方便。

      我在香港長大，八十年代，我在廣東那邊工作過，也好長一段時間在中國西北和西南部旅遊。美國媽媽說的跟我在大陸經歷過的事情也很相近，真的是一個十分崢嶸的歲月。

      80年代时，没觉得生活艰苦。现在回过头去看，治安差住房差生活拮据火车排队公交车拥挤银行排队，哪一样都没法忍受。

      媽媽很溫文尔雅，而且現在比當年還更漂亮了！我和她是同一年第一次去北京的，那時拿著五百元港幣就可以乘火車從北京玩到青島再坐船到廣州然後回香港。當然，我們在北京投宿朋友的外交人員公寓省去了一大筆開支又安全。每天可以打的出去玩，好像是1.2元起錶。當時内地的社會很純粹又充滿朝氣！青春歲月太美好了🎉

      Christina, I am very impress with your mother. China in those days was coming out of political turmoil (cultural revolution) and the universities were just opening up after being closed for a decade. Peking University is considered the top University in China. I am a little amuse listening to your mother, I am of the same generation as her, while most Chinese at the time were hoping to escape from the communist China, your mother seemed to blindly walk into the country.
