Okay hello everybody uh let’s quickly do aΒ sound check can you hear me okay everybodyΒ Β feel free to leave a comment in the chat okayΒ if you are having any problems okay right here okay I see we have one personΒ attending can you hear me okay everything okay for sound can you hearΒ Β
Me fantastic okay so let’s goΒ back and get down to business okay so firstly uh let’s make an introduction okay I’m Richard umΒ and I will be talking you through this firstΒ Β lesson of the pet preliminary reading andΒ use of English exam and I will be talkingΒ Β
Through the basics of the exam showing youΒ the the key parts of the reading and useΒ Β of English exam um and pointing out any veryΒ important pieces of information you need toΒ Β know so thank you for joining us uh I lookΒ forward to helping you um and so let’s uhΒ Β
Begin with a little introduction about meΒ okay and uh have a listen to some of theΒ Β language I use as well this could be usefulΒ for you guys too so I will share my screen okay a quick message beforeΒ we begin happy New Year allΒ Β
The best to everybody so now uh my my introduction okay so firstly uh a little about me um I loveΒ sport um I really enjoy surfing as you canΒ Β see from the picture there uh I’m interested inΒ languages and culture um I’m really into learningΒ Β
Languages but I enjoy teaching them too uh I’mΒ a language student I’ve studied Spanish FrenchΒ Β German Portuguese that doesn’t mean that I’mΒ fantastic at them but I understand what it’sΒ Β like to be a student so I’ve been in your positionΒ um but also I’m a teacher as well um and I have aΒ Β
Background in teaching Cambridge exams okay inΒ fact I studied languages at University um andΒ Β then uh I majored in education later uh as I saidΒ I’m experienced at teaching Cambridge um CambridgeΒ Β material um I also a pet preliminary examiner uhΒ amongst other uh other types of exams um what IΒ Β
Am best at is teaching exam preparation okayΒ I actually enjoy it some people think that’s aΒ Β bit crazy but I love teaching exam preparation soΒ hopefully I can help you now before we look at theΒ Β
Exam a quick little uh reflection okay you willΒ see that I have used a range of language here toΒ Β talk about my interests these are some nice littleΒ phrases um you know I am interested in okay I’veΒ Β
Used the ing form afterwards because we have aΒ preposition I’m mad about I’m into okay um andΒ Β then when I was talking about my background someΒ nice phrases here if you’re talking about whatΒ Β you’ve done at in your education uh and thenΒ again some nice phrases with prepositions I’mΒ Β
Experienced at I’m good at I have a backgroundΒ in so these are some nice little uh ExpressionsΒ Β you can use in your speaking okay but that’s uhΒ enough about the speaking okay I’m here to helpΒ Β
You with the reading and the use of English uh soΒ um let’s begin okay um now let’s start with theΒ Β basics what you see when you begin the exam allΒ right you you will see okay the reading test weΒ Β
Look at the time here you’ve got 45 minutes okayΒ now let’s let’s quickly look at the instructionsΒ Β all right um this is not completely uselessΒ information um there are useful points here okayΒ Β um so read the instruction carefully okay thisΒ is obvious try to answer all the questions youΒ Β
Do not lose marks uh if you give a bad answer youΒ just don’t get a mark so answer all the questionsΒ Β even if you don’t know what the answer is have aΒ guess okay that’s important um try to answer allΒ Β
The questions okay if you are wrong oops let’s getΒ rid of that one okay we’ll get rid of that one ifΒ Β you’re wrong no problem okay you’re not goingΒ to get a minus Mark okay that happens in someΒ Β
Countries uh and some systems some exam systemsΒ now write your answers on the answer sheet useΒ Β a pencil okay you must complete the answer sheetΒ within the time limit now um this is important andΒ Β
Most people say simple um we can have a look atΒ the answer sheet here this is the answer sheet umΒ Β and you need to make sure that you’ve completedΒ your answers on the answer sheet so you can seeΒ Β
Here I’ve got an imaginary pencil and I’m shadingΒ in the answer for part one I think part one is oneΒ Β okay excuse me so you need to shade them in nowΒ my recommendation okay to save stress and nobodyΒ Β
Likes stress in an exam uh is try to do this whileΒ you’re doing the exam okay let’s let’s have a lookΒ Β at part one for example okay we’ve got part oneΒ here we’ve got question one okay there are fiveΒ Β
Questions in part one it says for each questionΒ choose the correct answer now let’s imagine thatΒ Β I’ve read it you know as I said I think it’sΒ part one I’m going to mark it on the sheet hereΒ Β
Okay but at the same time okay okay I’m going toΒ use my pencil okay and Mark it here yeah then atΒ Β the end I’m not stressed I’m not thinking ohΒ I have to mark everything uh at the end do IΒ Β
Have time okay that’s not a good situation to beΒ in okay so this may be common sense okay but uhΒ Β some people have forgotten yeah and I have seenΒ it and it’s not nice okay so uh I did forget toΒ Β
Mention the beginning of the exam where you haveΒ to enter your details okay your name uh you willΒ Β be given a center name Don’t Panic about thatΒ uh your signature make sure you have all of thisΒ Β
Stuff completed okay otherwise this can delay theΒ marking of your exam okay so that’s uh simple butΒ Β again important now um let’s look at the partsΒ of the exam so I will I will show you I willΒ Β
Show you the entire exam I’ve got a sampleΒ here okay um I can’t draw on this let’s seeΒ Β now we’ve seen this part now this this is partΒ one okay as I said there are five questions umΒ Β
You’ve got like an image with text and you haveΒ to choose the correct answer from three optionsΒ Β a b or c yeah all right five different examplesΒ yeah that’s part one so let’s look at one of theΒ Β
Questions in a little more detail so let meΒ share that again go back to my white there we go now here I what part one now I’m going toΒ rub this out because we do not know yet if aΒ Β
Is the right answer that was just for showingΒ you okay what to do so let’s start from theΒ Β beginning okay so let me get my highlighter let’sΒ change color let’s go for blue okay right uh forΒ Β
Each question choose the correct answer now okayΒ okay I’ve got some tips here um look carefully atΒ Β the language look for similarities in meaningΒ and ideas okay synonyms it’s another word forΒ Β similarities Words which are the same beware ofΒ negatives and distractors okay we can talk we’llΒ Β
Talk in more detail about this uh this partΒ of the exam when I go into detail about partΒ Β one uh of the exam so uh if you like this sessionΒ subscribe okay and then you can follow me when IΒ Β
Get into into the real detail for part one todayΒ we’re going to look at the basics and I’ll giveΒ Β you a a very useful tip at the end so stay stayΒ on the channel okay at the end and you’ll getΒ Β
That tip that will help you uh do the exam withΒ less stress and in a more let’s say methodicalΒ Β or strategic way okay so let’s get back back toΒ the question um as I said look very carefully atΒ Β
The language all right so we’ve got this negativeΒ no groups of four or more okay unless by previousΒ Β Arrangements all right so let’s have a look at uhΒ a b and c okay all campus must reserve a place inΒ Β
Advance okay okay so uh we’ve got the sense thatΒ we’ve got our in advance is similar to a previousΒ Β Arrangement Okay so we’ve got a similar ideaΒ here yeah let’s uh let’s check the others andΒ Β see if there are any things that we can thatΒ we can eliminate them maybe or discount themΒ Β
Okay uh so let’s have a look go back to YellowΒ groups bigger than four are not allowed on theΒ Β site okay well we’ve got this idea of four okay umΒ but it says no groups of four or more are allowedΒ Β
Unless by previous arrangements so that’s notΒ really right okay they can come but there mustΒ Β be previous Arrangements right uh now let’s haveΒ a look at the next one groups of more than threeΒ Β should contact the campsite before arriving okayΒ now we’ve got this idea of more than three whichΒ Β
Is the same yeah as four all right uh they shouldΒ contact the camsite before arriving right okay uhΒ Β so we’ve got we’ve got both ideas included hereΒ whereas for a we’ve only got one idea all campersΒ Β
Now here it says only groups of four so let’sΒ eliminate a okay and we have got c as our answerΒ Β okay look carefully at the language similaritiesΒ in meaning and ideas beware of negatives eliminateΒ Β anything that you think is not correct okay soΒ that’s part one all right let’s move on part twoΒ Β
Um now ah we’ve done part one we’ve decided it’s CΒ so at the same time okay we are going to shade inΒ Β Sea okay to make our life easier and avoid stressΒ okay so let’s do that while we’re doing the examΒ Β
Okay yeah now we can move on yes I nearly forgotΒ myself right part two so again I will look at umΒ Β the PDF so that you can see the entire uh partΒ of the exam so let’s move across now I scrollΒ Β
Down okay so uh part two okay for each questionΒ choose the correct answer okay you have contextΒ Β here which is very important so take time takeΒ your time to read this the young people belowΒ Β all want to do a cycling course during theirΒ school holidays on the opposite page there areΒ Β
Descriptions of eight cycling courses so theseΒ are the young people below okay we’ve got uhΒ Β five young people and then on the opposite pageΒ we’ve got eight different descriptions all rightΒ Β so we have to choose five out of the eight um soΒ as it said decide which course would be the mostΒ Β
Suitable for the people below okay so that’s theΒ question now let’s let’s have a quick look at howΒ Β to answer this question shall we um so againΒ I will unshare and share my lesson here okayΒ Β
My presentation I mean move across okay so we’reΒ going to look at the first one okay we’re going toΒ Β look at question six we’ got Nancy okay so um youΒ again you need to look care at the language lookΒ Β
For connections and similarities this is somethingΒ that you’re going to be doing for every questionΒ Β okay in the reading you’re looking for connectionsΒ similarities look for synonyms and be careful ofΒ Β negatives uh and distractors which I will go intoΒ more detail about uh as I said in our next sessionΒ Β
About part one of the pet preliminary exam so umΒ I am going to just show you the answer to this oneΒ Β and you can see the connections I’ve made so let’sΒ have a look okay uh six goes with d all right andΒ Β
Let’s have a look why okay now Nancy she’s 14Β she Cycles quite well all right in fact we’veΒ Β got two ideas there so maybe I can uh I’m going toΒ color code these okay color coding is is good forΒ Β
An exam nerds like me okay so she Cycles quiteΒ well um she needs to learn how to cycle safelyΒ Β uh on busy City roads from home to school I thinkΒ that’s one idea more or less yeah okay and uh theΒ Β
Last idea she’s free at the weekends okay youΒ can have a look for a minute um and see why IΒ Β have made the connection what are the ideas thatΒ connect okay you’re welcome to write in the chatΒ Β
If you want to um or not up to you I will goΒ over it in in a minute okay so I’ll give youΒ Β a quick minute to read the pedal power okay andΒ see how the connections are what what are theΒ Β
What is the language that connects and makes sureΒ that this is the correct answer okay just take a look all right maybe you have some IDE so let’sΒ uh let’s take a look together uh a courseΒ Β for able cyclists all right able kind ofΒ works with quite well yeah so we got thatΒ Β
Idea we tick that off okay um we specializeΒ in teaching Riders of all ages right so thatΒ Β works with the fact that she’s 14 all ages canΒ participate uh now um how to manage difficultΒ Β situations in heavy traffic towns and citiesΒ okay that works with that idea the busy roadsΒ Β
Uh home to school and uh she’s only free atΒ weekends the final idea there Saturdays 2 toΒ Β 4 yeah so we’ve got all our ideas thereΒ there’s nothing um that does not agreeΒ Β there’s nothing that does not uh that don’tΒ go together so I’m we’re 100% sure 100% sureΒ Β
That that’s the correct answer okay andΒ I’ve drawn all over my um my exam sheet yeah okay part three of our pet elimin preliminaryΒ exam sorry we’re not eliminating okay it’s aΒ Β preliminary exam uh okay again I’m going toΒ do what I’ve been doing I’ll go to the I’llΒ Β
Show you the PDF so an unshare and share of theΒ PDF we can see the entire part three so we move on okay to part three uh so you’ve got 11 to 15Β questions 11 to 15 for each question choose theΒ Β
Correct answer you’ve got a reading text hereΒ okay one page and then you’ve got your uh fiveΒ Β question questions A B C or D all right yeah uhΒ okay so let’s let’s go back unshare and share okay okay what’s nice aboutΒ this and not confusing isΒ Β
That the answers come in order let’sΒ put that there okay that’s useful to know well if we want a fancy word they come chronologically okay make that a bit bigger okay uh that meansΒ that um the answer to question question 11 isΒ Β
Going to be in the beginning all right uh nowΒ again to repeat myself but the strategies areΒ Β similar for every question look carefully atΒ the language in the questions um and then readΒ Β the text and look for similarities in meaningsΒ and ideas I would say read the questions firstΒ Β
I like to do that okay um and then read the textΒ okay questions first text second some people likeΒ Β to read the text quickly first that’s fine um forΒ me I like to read the questions then I know what IΒ Β
Am looking for but that’s that’s my personalΒ preference so um let’s Zoom this a bit okayΒ Β because it’s a bit small so now um as I said uhΒ we want to look at the language so Harry thinksΒ Β
Uh he said he was going to be a tennis championΒ in order to okay pleas his parents that’s a bitΒ Β thick isn’t it let let me um maybe I’ll use aΒ thinner pen here let’s see that’s better yeahΒ Β pleas his parents okay uh change color getΒ some attention Okay annoy his older brotherΒ Β
Okay uh and the last one uh what color am IΒ missing yellow yeah persuade people that heΒ Β was serious right I’ll scroll up we are lookingΒ here for synonyms in the text which match in otherΒ Β
Words similarities in meaning and ideas yeah soΒ I’ll read this for you see if you can spot themΒ Β as I read okay and then we’ll go over it rightΒ our title play to win 16-year-old Harry MooreΒ Β writes about his hobby tennis my parents haveΒ always loved tennis and they’re members of aΒ Β
Tennis club my older brother was really good atΒ it and they supported him taking him to lessonsΒ Β all the time so I guess when I announced that IΒ wanted to be a tennis champion okay our answer is
Coming when I grew up I just intended for themΒ to notice me all right my mother laughed sheΒ Β knew I couldn’t possibly be serious okay beΒ careful of that we have the same word butΒ Β we’ve got a negative okay beware of negativesΒ and distractors just because they use the sameΒ Β
Word it does not mean it’s the same thingΒ she knew that I couldn’t be serious okay inΒ Β fact that makes D impossible yeah however we doΒ have this sense I just intend intended for themΒ Β
To notice me all right that is another way to sayΒ uh in fact let me change the color to not confuseΒ Β the issue okay we don’t want green as such andΒ we don’t want yeah let’s let’s change again soΒ Β
To notice me so that is another way to say toΒ get some attention yeah okay notice be noticedΒ Β uh if people notice you they pay you attentionΒ all right and uh I should add that this ideaΒ Β
Serious yeah so let’s let’s zoom out let’s goΒ to fit here okay so in this case we’ve got twoΒ Β words which are similar okay we can make thatΒ match yeah we’ll put that on a little Post-ItΒ Β note okay uh be noticed sorry it’s rightΒ it here be noticed be paid attention to
Okay there we go right let’s move on okay uh let’s take a lookΒ at part four and again I will ah at this point IΒ Β should just remind you again I’m going to repeatΒ myself I apologize but we must remember as we’reΒ Β
Doing this to Mark our answers in while we’reΒ doing the exam again to save that stress uh at theΒ Β ends yeah okay so what did I say I think I saidΒ part three let’s let’s go back and have a look
Okay part three and we said it was uh get someΒ attention it was B wasn’t it okay so we’ll shadeΒ Β that in okay part three B okay and we also shouldΒ have done part two which was D wasn’t it yeah okayΒ Β
So we’ll do that yeah 6D all right that’s the lastΒ time I’m I’m going to mention that I promise yeahΒ Β okay just to give you a little reminder okayΒ repetition is good um where were we so we wereΒ Β
Going to look at part four where we yeah all rightΒ so but unshare and share yeah we’ll go PDF okayΒ Β we’ll scroll down okay so part four questionsΒ 16 to 20 you’ve got uh five sentences haveΒ Β been removed in other words taken away from theΒ text below for each question choose the correctΒ Β
Answer there are three extra sentences whichΒ you do not need to use uh so this is a readingΒ Β uh and you can see you’ve got a gap here where aΒ sentence should go in these are the sentences youΒ Β
Get on the next page and of course you’ve got toΒ choose five from the eights okay so let’s let’s go back uh we’ll go back to my my Bo now for meΒ this one is one of the trickier parts of theΒ Β
Exam one of the more difficult parts ofΒ the exam um so this will take me a goodΒ Β 45 minutes to really go into detail with itΒ which we will be looking at in the subsequentΒ Β lessons I’ll give you um some ideas about howΒ to approach it but uh we’ll really go intoΒ Β
Detail with this in the lat later lessonsΒ um but let let’s take a quick look yeah um so I’m going to zoom make it a bit bigger hereΒ I would say for this um for this part it’s reallyΒ Β
Worth reading uh the text first and then lookingΒ at the questions okay and you’re looking forΒ Β connections all right uh you’re looking fourΒ ideas which connect before and after the GapΒ Β all right uh did I say that I think I did yeahΒ it’s here yeah let’s bring it down here rightΒ Β
So I’ll give you an example now we’ve read allΒ of it it’s about planting trees Mark Ram okayΒ Β uh now let’s have a look at some things whichΒ might connect okay uh we started looking onlineΒ Β
For the best trees to buy all right we’ve got uhΒ we’ve got a bit of vocab here we we’re talkingΒ Β about trees okay we’re talking about lookingΒ online all right let let’s use something a bitΒ Β smaller here actually okay yeah change yourΒ pen up a bit why not yeah all right looking
On what am I talking about right hold on thatΒ should be a bit smaller looking online yeahΒ Β trees okay now we can look afterwards okay uhΒ if we wanted them to grow properly they hadΒ Β to be the right type all right we got them asΒ well which is referring to something plural all
Right so in our sentence we have to haveΒ something plural here okay we and we talkedΒ Β about trees we’ve talked about buying onlineΒ Okay so let’s let’s maybe zoom out a littleΒ Β
Bit okay we make it that’s a bit small isn’t itΒ so let’s see okay um so if we look you know a bΒ Β CDE e f we’ve got the eight Alternatives okay umΒ now I I’ve chosen D for this one okay um we’reΒ Β
Talking about choosing trees okay lookingΒ online that’s the idea they’re looking umΒ Β it was quite complicated okay so they have toΒ be the right one we’ve got that idea we’ve gotΒ Β two ideas which connect together and of courseΒ we’ve got them which refers to trees as wellΒ Β
All right so there are many different ways uhΒ for to to make that connection okay and we’llΒ Β spend a considerable amount of time lookingΒ at the various different ways um that we canΒ Β make that connection and make sure we’ve got theΒ right sentence to go in the Gap but that’s howΒ Β
You do that part of the exam okay and againΒ you can see I’ve drawn all over my text umΒ Β and we need to mark it on our exam paper okayΒ if we’re sure good so uh let’s move on shall
We okay where is my part five my part five isΒ gone all right so I need to look at the examΒ Β paper but that’s fine so we’ll look at partΒ five I don’t have it on my screen so I’llΒ Β
Draw it up on the PDF that’s no problem um bearΒ with me a moment so let’s pull it up on the F okay now there we go there we goΒ part five yeah you I’m going toΒ Β make a screenshot I think and then I can put it on
The just bear with me a moment people please okayΒ Β I’m going to make my lifeΒ a bit easier okay so that’s so part five okay uh there are fiveΒ questions okay the same um and in thisΒ Β case for each question you need to chooseΒ the correct answer okay so you’ve got youΒ Β
Got a text you’ve got gaps okay and we look atΒ the questions you got a B C or D okay so let’sΒ Β let’s have a look okay I think I can nowΒ put it on my presentation we can draw all of okay there we go right
Now there we go let’s put it in there like that [Music] okay oh just bear withΒ me one moment guys okay so I want here okay one moment guys I’llΒ call up the the image in a moment two now let’s get that in here thereΒ we go perfect okay thank you for yourΒ Β
Patience now let’s look how we can do thisΒ part of the exam okay so we we’re lookingΒ Β for something to go in here okay again umΒ it’s a case of looking at the before and after
Okay not this not 22 I want 21 don’t I we’ll doΒ 21 first okay so right so we’ve got a projectΒ Β okay uh it’s something to show how car markingΒ could bloody bloody blur okay um now you’ve got intended wished decided or insistedΒ okay it’s important to think about uhΒ Β
Context and grammar here all rightΒ these are the two key things uh context and r okay two key things to think about now let’s save that I want to move that there okay context so what do I mean firstly by context we’reΒ talking about a project okay it’s not a personΒ Β
It’s a project okay uh it’s about car making umΒ and we’ve and so that gives us our cont text thenΒ Β we’ve got uh we got the use of two here as wellΒ which which is related to grammar really yeah okayΒ Β
We’re using two here all right so um let’s have aΒ look at our words we’ve got intended to show howΒ Β car making could such and such okay decided WellΒ a project isn’t decided to do something so thatΒ Β
That wouldn’t really be correct okay insisted nowΒ insisted goes with on he insisted on working hardΒ Β so we can eliminate that all right um we got thatΒ grammar there on okay wrong preposition we can useΒ Β
Intended to okay we can say wish to but that’sΒ when you use a person and it’s active I wishΒ Β to leave now okay um he wished to make money allΒ right but a project is not wished to do somethingΒ Β
All right so that would also be incorrect allΒ right so we can eliminate that yeah um so you’reΒ Β looking for a a link with context and grammar forΒ this part all right so that’s part five uh thankΒ Β
You for your patience there and you would rememberΒ again to go back to the exam and Mark mark it ohΒ Β sorry back to the answer sheet and Mark it withΒ your pencil uh so let’s come to uh let’s yeah partΒ Β
Six I’ve got it there okay uh so again we’ll haveΒ a quick look at the PDF uh so I’ll move across uh and we can scroll down all right toΒ part six um so five questions again allΒ Β right for each question write theΒ correct answer write one word forΒ Β
Each Gap one word no more all right uhΒ now you’ve got a text and you got gapsΒ Β and you’ve got to write the word it can beΒ any word yeah uh so let’s let’s go back and
We’ll share here and I will share my present ationΒ all right so okay last one last part of the examΒ Β uh it can be quite tricky now here is somethingΒ to remember um the correct word is a grammar wordΒ Β
In fact make this point clearly a grammar wordΒ right what do I mean by a grammar word every timeΒ Β you are in class and your teacher is teachingΒ you a grammar Point um maybe you’re doing theΒ Β future you’re doing conditionals uh comparativesΒ and you’re using words conditionals we use if toΒ Β
Make a conditional if is a grammar word okayΒ superlatives we use most or least the mostΒ Β fantastic the least interesting most and least areΒ grammar words the is a grammar word okay um futureΒ Β we use will for the future for predictions will isΒ a grammar word okay it’s it makes up a grammaticalΒ Β
Structure that has its own meaning all right nowΒ Richard is not a grammar word my name that’s aΒ Β name all right surfing is not a grammar word allΒ right it’s the name of an activity so it’s a wordΒ Β
That is used to make up a grammatical structureΒ that’s important to remember all right um so myΒ Β point made okay let’s uh hopefully my point isΒ made so let’s let’s go back quickly and we’llΒ Β
Do one example answer uh right so I would say forΒ this one read read the entire text okay the usualΒ Β look carefully at the language before and afterΒ I’m repeating myself again but this is importantΒ Β um and look for connections related to contextΒ vocab and grammar okay so we’ll do the first one
Uh our new skate pop is there a GreatΒ Skate Park in your town we’ve now gotΒ Β the Fantastic skate park ever okay well um ifΒ if you know your grammar okay we tend to useΒ Β the plus ever um with a superlative okayΒ fact it’s the plus superlative plus ever
Okay all right now we’ve got our adjective hereΒ fantastic all right um it’s all because of myΒ Β friends and me we’ve got the word great so it’sΒ going to be positive all right so our superlativesΒ Β
The most fantastic not the least because it’s aΒ great skat Park all right so we thought about ourΒ Β grammar we’ve got our one grammar word which isΒ the most all right so I’ll put that in there we go
Okay uh I see a message from Louis 21 I’m notΒ sure what you mean by 21 is that the questionΒ Β uh yes it’s the question of the answer sorryΒ I missed that I need to pay more attention toΒ Β
The to the chat now um that brings us close toΒ the end of the entire exam okay to summarizeΒ Β for this pet preliminary exam reading use ofΒ English um come prepared bring your pencilΒ Β bring your rubber okay to do the to write inΒ the answers um write the answers as you go inΒ Β
The exam follow the strategies we’ll talk inΒ more detail about those later on okay if youΒ Β subscribe to the channel okay then we can getΒ into detail with the later sessions now I saidΒ Β
At the beginning that I would give you a tip maybeΒ you figured it out maybe you haven’t the tip wasΒ Β not just shading in the exam but if we look at umΒ an example one of my example answers all right uhΒ Β
You can see it’s a bit of a mess I’ve drawn allΒ over it okay I’ve labeled things I’ve underlinedΒ Β things I’ve made my own little notes okay uhΒ and that for me and for many students I’veΒ Β
Worked with helps them establish the correctΒ answer and be 100% sure so my tip is this isΒ Β to draw sorry I go back my tip is to draw allΒ over the exam paper okay to help you establishΒ Β
The correct answer yeah let’s put that on a littleΒ Post-It note that’s my tip of the day it may beΒ Β obvious to some people but it may not and itΒ is very helpful so uh draw all over the exam
Paper help you logically establish what theΒ answer is okay that is my little tip of theΒ Β day okay um so that brings us quite nicelyΒ okay to the end of the session we’ll jumpΒ Β that okay I say thank you everybody it’sΒ been a pleasure helping you hopefully uhΒ Β
I look forward to seeing you next week inΒ the next session remember subscribe to theΒ Β channel okay um and you can keep uh gettingΒ these hopefully useful sessions so see youΒ Β soon guys uh I will just see yeah see you soonΒ guys okay um in the next session all the best byebye
