      Shame on you Janusz–riding a bicycle WITHOUT A HELMET. You can easily be killed or severely injured just by falling off a bicycle while it is scarcely moving and hitting your head on the ground. Just a couple of weeks ago, one of my tennis buddies died by hitting his head on the ground as he fell backward playing tennis. When you ride a bicycle your head is even higher than someone who is playing tennis. So please get a helmet and ride safely.

      I wish I could also additionally have a fairly literal translation – it would help get an idea how sentences are constructed and maybe give some insight as to how Germans form sentences in their head. For example: "Jetzt stelle ich Janusz noch zwei Fragen" – "Now I will ask Janusz two more questions" might be something like "Now put I Janusz still two questions"

      First time I went to Germany I also comitted the crime of walking on a bike ride. A woman shouted at me so bad it was scary . I mean yeah I can understand why it is so annoying/dangerous aber sie könnte etwas höflicher sein :/
