#finland How Finland Changed Me || Pedals of Change

Pedals of Change is a brief story about Finland and how the country influenced me to purchase a bike and to learn how to cycle, i was never interested in bikes until life in Finland began where i noticed many Finns riding bikes, i noticed age and gender had no influence in this activity so i thought why not.
After practicing for few minutes i was able to finally move the bike from a standstill, the same day i was riding the bike as if i was a professional as some suggested, i kept practicing and now i’m pretty good at it and i enjoy it very much as its a mode of transportation and is also perfect for a quick leg workout, however Biking and can its negative effects and unfortunately i have experienced two incidents that would’ve never happened without me biking.
    Thanks for watching!

    2. You shoul raise your saddle a bit. It feel more confortable when you can fully straighten your legs. Good vids btw!

    3. Saddle a bit higher so legs almost get straight on bottom pedal. You'll use less energy so cam cycle longer 😊 well done for learning though

    4. Can relate to your experience. Got everything as a kid by riding bike – injuries, bruises, flew over the steering handle bars at high speed once. Fun stuff, good memories 🙂 wish you to stay safe 🙃

    5. Nice! Now you have learnt how to bike!!! You can use it for practical things, shopping and shorter ways, when you dont want/can use the car. And also as sport, riding as fast as you can!

    6. To be a Finn checklist: ⬜ ride a bike ⬜ swim ⬜ ski ⬜ ice skate ⬜ survive a winter in Finland ⬜ goto wood burning sauna ⬜ heat up the wood burning sauna ⬜ goto sauna by a lake ⬜ swim in the lake ⬜ row a boat ⬜ fish ⬜ survive in silence ⬜ learn to be silent ⬜ learn Finnish ⬜ learn English ⬜ learn Swedish ⬜ learn to be tolerant ⬜ be the underdog, lose but be a moral winner ⬜ improve things ⬜ DIY ⬜ learn to enjoy salmiakki ⬜ repeat everything until you understand what sisu means

    7. Nicely done 😃. It's not easy to learn how to bike as an adult but you'll be a master when the summer is over. Your helmet looks a bit lose though. You should tighten the straps so that it doesn't move. That way it stays on if you hit your head.
