This 4×4 Mercedes campervan was converted by Behl Mobil of near Wurzburg, Germany. The most outstanding feature in my opinion is the shower – it has a great deal of space when one considers how difficult it its to build a Mercedes Sprinter campervan conversion.

I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.

In my YouTube channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. Here you will find campervans and motorhomes from the cheapest camper vans to the most expensive luxury liners, from various companies including Hobby, Hymer, Carthago, Westfalia, Wingamm, La Strada, Frankia, Wavecamper, Maurer, Dreamer, Itineo, Rapido, Clever Vans, Pössl, Bürstner, Niesmann Bischoff, Action Mobil, Reisemobil Manufaktur, Robeta, Trigano, Challenger, EuraMobil, Karmann Mobil, Laika, Forster, Mobilvetta Design, Affinity, Globe Traveller, Benimar, Roller Team, Adria, Bocklet, Woelcke,Tourne, Megamobil, VW, Mercedes, CS, Renault, Ford, Fiat, Carado, Sunlight, Baileys, Chausson, Balcamp, Knaus, Weinsberg, Murvi, Bliss, Mitsubishi, Woelcke, Reisemobile Bürow, Holzmobil, Giotti Line, Florium, Fleurette, Ahorn, Westfalia, Space Camper, Orange Work, Concorde, Womondo, Protec, Auto Sleeper, Dethleffs, Ilusion, Gehocab, Malibu, Pilote, Wild Ax, Vantage, Bresler, Tom’s Fahrzeugtechnik, Morelo, Swift, Carado and others.

I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.

I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.

I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

This is aventoyo unalread the largest off-road fair in the world of campuses anyway this is a a mercedes sprinter van conversion uh by bell mobile and from the evotzborg and this will cost around 80 000. euros that is the cost of the conversion not the vehicle so the

Vehicle would be plus the vehicle but uh let’s have a look at it it has got uh my favorite layout in a campervan now the first thing we have to notice is well not quite my favorite because there’s there’s one thing i would change a little bit but anyway it’s roughly my favorite

Notice how high the roof is so it gives you all of this space up here to play with that means you can put the bed has gone up there it’s in two parts it’s hinged and it’ll come down this gives you a large amount of space down here this

Can be converted into a bed as well um which which i personally wouldn’t want but it can be the trouble is when seats are converted into beds they’re not really quite seated so they’re not really quite comfortable you know because you’ve got this large bit down

Here that is a bit of a problem for me on the other hand because i sit cross-legged i’m the only person probably the only person in the world that sits cross-legged at a table but that would suit me but nobody else uh right let’s have a look up front uh

Okay so it’s a mercedes uh sprinter i think the chairs obviously come around one thing i personally don’t like with the mercedes though is this break and uh be much better on the other side putting in the middle of the vehicle is a major problem uh

For me anyway right down here we’ve got the smallest fridge that comes from the dometic waco series uh same as what i’ve got in my van no it’s not sorry it’s it’s sorry it’s the same mate as i’ve got in my van but this one here comes out like that

I got an extension there for the uh the kitchen now if you’ve got uh this type of um cooker first thing you’re going to think is aha then you must also have a lot of battery power as well so um anyway uh we’ll have a look at that uh outside if

I did sort of film it that’s great this is something i see more more vehicles a large sink you want a large thing i think because it’s only making your large pans clean i think people now are aware the fact that people use domestic pans inside uh vehicles right down here we

Have a proper drawer no it’s got proper draw proper sides and down here also there’s uh storage and there’s storage here as well now uh a bed here uh for me ourselves a bit of a surplus to requirements of mine but this is a six meter vehicle probably think well

What else can we stick there why not stick another bed in there because you see it’s a bit of storage but before we make any complaints about the bed let’s see how big the washroom is and uh where’s the light oh i don’t know where the light is

Anyway oh there it is something no it’s not it’s it’s not it’s not on my okay well after after all that absolutely enormous uh shower with a composting toilet in it as well so that looks like it looks like a sauna in here and let’s have a look in here as well

A bit of storage of things there so if you didn’t want the bear down the corner what else could you use the space for well your homework i think actually you could do you could put a garage in there you get a bicycle in there if you took the bed out

Anyway right uh storage up here all right and the bed will come down like this oh it’s got something under it oh sorry it doesn’t have something on the right and so now the bear you see how big the bed is i’m trying to make this i’m sorry i’m

Just making it worse but uh there see this area for sleeping in you’ve got uh windows on the other side that shouldn’t get too stuffy now look how much space there is below the bed still you can easily continue sitting down here at the same time so one person can be in bed

And the other uh can be asleep in fact the two other people who sleep there’s another bed in the back here which i would want to get rid of uh that i think that’s really good that’s my opinion here take and you see the see both at the same time

Uh that gives you lots and lots of space uh oh notice also that the chair the captain’s chairs there with this pneumatic system below them as well like they’re having lorries very very comfortable so i think that’s good let’s push this on oh there’s a particular way of doing this

And i haven’t learned how to do it so i’ll have to i won’t i won’t force it now part of the problem of course is there’s not a lot of space there but you know it’s a tiny van anyway so you can’t expect too much space and uh

Let’s come now to the rear and have a look in here all right so that’s the side of that enormous tape a shower toilet with uh outdoor um shower now that’s where i want to start removing the space from my bike well i might just get

My bike in there but i wouldn’t get much much else in there here we’ve got this e4 system which has been built in now the e4 system is a in germany it’s quite common i’m gonna see anywhere else but this is a system for charging your uh batteries and also making it when

While it’s doing it gives a little bit of tiny bit of heat as well it uh all right i need to do a separate video on that does this come up there you go that goes up as well you could i suppose take the mattress out

And put the whole thing to one side and get a very large garage in there so uh right so they um small converting company they do other things for example we can have a look this is the uh larger mercedes uh so is that six meter one

Under six meters once under seven meters just uh have a quick glance around this one for you so uh this one’s got a double bed in the back and which is lengthwise steps up to it we’ve got the shower here which and toilet which opens the correct way as far as i’m concerned

And uh yeah and right that’s how i look here now also got this uh cabin uh pickup unit uh this is obviously a totally different type of product but uh there’s the toilet goes under there shower uh external 40 liters in this and the bed will pull out

There but i mean obviously this has got a tiny footprint as you can see from from there and we’ll have a look at this one as well i think this one is a six meter vehicle at 50 and a half thousand plus the uh uh plus across the vehicle of course and

Oh this is also particularly elegant with a sensible sliding door and a particularly large washroom which you can’t see because the light’s not on huh but it is one right good so uh walk around here at belle mobile and uh you see what they’ve done and you’ve got the what’s a bell mobile

Dot d i think is the uh website so uh thanks for for watching and this announcement is about to happen so we’ll listen to the announcement and then i’ll end you’re supposed to leave right okay i can’t hear him never mind thanks for watching and all the best from germany

Please join the exit and take care of the bus something

    1. Maybe I misheard you when you said it would cost 80,000 (Eighty) (Thousand) Euros for just the conversion not inc the base vehicle? My eagle eye noticed quite a few fit n finish flaws in that van and no use of the more expensive moulded trims or transition panels that might typically make it different to a DIY conversion. I would be gobsmacked if they are charging that kind of money for this conversion! As you know I'm a keen believer in the motorhome and campervan world but it is becoming a shameful disgrace. Time for a significant shock to the market in my opinion!
