I have a Canyon Grizl CF SLX and it is a great bike. However I get a number of comments about the painting. The bike has intentional “blotches” mixed in as a graphic. A number of folks can’t read the CANYON name and they think I’ve somehow damaged the frame. Once I tell them it is intentionally painted that way I get asked why.
My own guess is, as a gravel bike, they are going for a “rough” look. That the blotches look like mud. But I’m curious what the internet thinks. Is this a common/known style of painting and why do you think they paint the bike this way?
