Visit to the UK via a ferry transfer from Hoek van Holland to Harwich, then took trains via London to Penzance.
First day riding from Penzance to Land’s End and then following mostly Sustrans NCN Route 3 for the next days.
Near Weston-Super-Mare I followed the NCN Route 33 to Bristol.
In the end a little bit sightseeing at Bristol-Bath Railwath Path as well as the Bristol Avon, until taking a GWR train back east.
I hope this might help one or the other planning the first third of their LEJOG via NCN Route 3 regarding traffic and surface conditions. I can recommend all visited campsites on this journey. What I cannot recommend is taking the weight of a full set of bike trekking gear over the Cornish hills. 😉
