Peter a momentous night for yourself but I know you’re going to want to talk about the team performance first um what a performance it was just tell us what how you saw it and I thought it was uh probably one of our more complete performances um certainly that first half

Defensively um I thought we were all over it um and I thought the backs were clinical attack wise um you know very impressive so um look we’ve know we’ve we have bigger fish to fry and um you know it’s it’s um you know special place to be obviously you know

I’m not going to say otherwise it was a massive week for for myself personally and and the people around me but the boys made it so special um I thought it was going to be you know all over the place with nervous but incredibly joyable week I just said to them there

And and and thank them hugely for um you know their effort they put in tonight was off the wall to deliver a performance like that that I know you were talking during the week about the people who who helped you when you were coaching when you were kids your family

Obviously big role down in Caron as well and through school and everything to deliver a performance like that you know winning those line outs you have been involved in everything um from a team point of view must make you very proud yeah hugely proud um I consider myself

You know very lucky um the the clubs the schools that I’ve been involved in um obviously my Province um and to be involved with this team you know for as long as I have and and particularly this this group that the journey we’ve been on I find myself I consider myself

Hugely lucky and um you know very grateful for the for all the effort all those people have put into me over the years to uh hopefully we could um on the occasion paying back a little bit there with that performance can I just ask you about the bit of ARG bargy out there

Just after halftime um was there a bit of an edge out there oh that’s part and Par rby um it’s a physical game um you know they were they were in the Press beforeand saying they were going to knock us off for uh our winning streak

And um you know how they had the uh how they figured us out and worked us out and um I don’t think they did tonight last one then All Blacks next week Joe’s lurking in the background there as well what does that mean to you what are you thinking about that now um

To be honest I’m going to try and enjoy the uh the next 60 minutes or so I think it’s uh it’s sacred place in a a bit of dressing room after an international after a win like that on a big occasion um spend a bit of time with the lads you

Know after you know the effort and the week and and everything that goes into it I’m going tojoy the next 60 minutes and we’ll uh we’ll Turn the Page tomorrow to a big week for Irish rby well deserved thanks Peter cheers

  1. You've heard about Marmite? You either love it or hate it? Let me tell you, it's not that simple. I absolutely hate PO'M when he's got a red shirt on playing against Ulster. But I just love him when he dons the Green Jersey and goes out to war for Ireland. Bottom line is, you want him on your team, you fear him when he's not.

  2. You call Sam Cane a shit Richie McCaw well Ireland is a poor man’s England! Enjoy your flight home you’ll never touch a semifinal.

  3. Good on Ireland for keeping the tradition of not making the semifinals alive. Sam Cane is a shit Richie McCaw and Peter O’Mahoney is a shit Sam Cane. 4 more years lad 😒😒😒😒

  4. I Love Scotland AS A Irish man either way I wouldn't have minded any result but Ireland just played a bit better on the day well done Irish and Scottish fans

  5. He would be better to keep his mouth shut. The utterly unprofessional & disrespectful comments about Sam Cane came back to haunt him. Looks completely foolish after being skooled by Sam Cane and Ireland failing at QF again
