    British cycling bans transgender women from competing in female races



    British Cycling has announced a permanent ban on transgender women taking part in all-female competitive events.

    They will now race in a new open category in a move which the governing body says has been taken in a spirit of fairness.

      Don't bother celebrating, because British Cycling has explicitly stated that MEN can still use the WOMEN'S changing rooms if it makes them more comfortable…regardless of how UNcomfortable it makes the women, so this ban is of cold comfort.

      No, Verity, 'trans women' are MEN who identify as women. Being male and not female makes them a subcategory of MEN, not women. The sooner everyone acknowledges this, the better, because the lies of gender identity ideology are harming people and helping no one but misogynistic men who want to dominate women.

      “The science isn’t certain” pretty much sure that biological science states there is male and female physiology. Just because some mentally ill people have made some genders up doesn’t mean it’s true. If there was more than 2 genders Mother Nature would have invented them already, that’s the science.

      "Prioritizing fairness over inclusivity". Why on earth should males be "included" in female sports? Why is this even a conversation?! Men who identify as female are male. They can think of themselves however they like, whatever makes them happy, but they simply cannot expect the rest of civilization to go along with their delusion or to lie about reality. I wish the media would stop referring to males who identify as female as "women" – they are not. They are men who identify as women – please call them by this correct definition. Reality matters in journalism.
