It’s time to leave Warsaw and continue our journey home we’ll be heading south today in the direction of Bruno in the Czech Republic I think that’s where we’re going to stay tonight and but who knows we’ll see how far we can get it’s come to that point in the trip where we

Need to do as many as kilometers as we can in order to get home we have come up with a plan that’s going to save us a bit of time though we’re going to take an overnight train from V or Vienna tomorrow night and that’s going to take

Us all the way across Austria and will bring us just 2 hours away from home so that’s that’s going to save us a full day riding and then I can get back in time or we can get back in time for work on Monday yeah so that is the rough plan

It’s as rough as we said we don’t have any stops planned in between so come and join us as we head home but first we need to get out of watera yeah and sneak through this little parking barrier here should be room for us thank you very much for the free

Parking we appreciate it and we’ll just see a little bit of warsa One Last Time on two wheels we’ve come to a slight delay on our plan thanks to the Navigator V5 well apparently there’s a new one out today maybe it’s time for an upgrade oh it’s going it’s going it’s

Going it’s got us I think it’s ready o oh we need a sticker do we for a check maybe we don’t I don’t know let’s go find out oh it’s ready to navigate it’s woken up where is it ready to navigate this Navigator must be what 6 years old

Now more than that it’s got to be pushing 10 I think wow it’s doing great here we go we 5 hours to Bruno not bad not too bad about I think it’s about 500 km as well okay all what we’ll be stopping in about 5 minutes to

Get fuel as well oh no yeah that is my pet hate yeah you don’t like that all psyched up and then we stopped engaging Defensive Driving Mode now there we go to to warsa warsa is such a mix of architecture it’s probably one of the biggest Jos cities we’ve been to other

Than maybe Batumi in Georgia the brand new skyscrapers and then a lot of the facades have been redone recently but then you also have these really o old uh blocks as well like that one brand new and then on this side just a few minutes later

Now this is what we came on the scooter this morning for breakfast oh yeah it was wasn’t it that’s right why isn’t this guy going he’s definitely not a quick City to nip in and out no he’s not is it go on go on go on go on go on go on

Yes you know these big buildings to the right of us I don’t know any of the brands that are on them no me either not heard of most of these or any of them oh that’s the airport we just went past what sorry that was the airport oh was

It okay oh no wonder it’s busy all right thanks Warsaw on to the next country yeah we’ve been on the motorway for about an hour and a half to 2 hours getting quite hungry so we decided to pull off the motorway and head to a supermarket as the service food wasn’t

Looking too great but must say the motorways here are really good really fast as well I think the speed limit is actually 140 km an hour which is the fastest I’ve seen for any country in Europe U the B- roads weren’t too great there was lots of road work so we sat in

Traffic for actually quite a bit and it’s getting up to 30° now but we have found this little picnic area in the forest which wasn’t too far from the motorway and Em’s grabbed some food from the supermarket and he’s making lunch what’s uh what’s on the menu bar lady

Welcome to my bar yeah we’ve done um some potatoes with avocado and hummocks in there we’ve got some bread these aren’t great but they are a means to an end they’re high protein and we’ve got some cheese and meats and a spread that I’m not sure but I think it’s like

An itation of something that they have quite regularly here in Poland what are these is it a PE PE meat yeah and then we have some some cheese as well to make some sandwiches up and yeah overall today has gone well however I have not enjoyed the motorway like at all it was

So busy crazy hectic really really fast wind blast was even with air plugs in you could hear a lot so I’m glad to be on the B- roads now as we head and try and cross the Czech border won’t be too far now yeah I think we might stick to

These B roads until we get to the border and depending on what time it is we might jump on the motorway again in the Czech Republic but I think if we stayed on B- Road and avoided motorways we’ve got about 4 and a half hours quite a long yeah and if we jump

By the motorways I think it’s about three okay or two and a half okay maybe just a break half and half we feel better after lunch it’s nice to see this part of Poland to be honest it is yeah um it’s pretty flat Poland flatter than

I thought it was lot of Farmland a lot of small villages a lot of what we’ve seen before but this forestry bit that we’re going to be riding through now I think it’s actually the best point to pull off on little spot yeah and we’ve seen a couple of other motorcycles which also

Means it’s like might be aout might be a good route so I’m going to make up some sandwiches do you want a sandwich yes please I’m ready to go oh that was a much needed snack and rest actually yeah but it’s cooled down a little bit as

Well it’s 24° now I think we’ve got another little village coming up and then we’re going to make our way back to the motorway we got some more straight roads ahead I’m not going to lie I’m missing the twisties of Switzerland there something calling me home and it’s

Definitely roads that are not straight as a die it is this this entire tour has been straight roads somehow and we have actively searched out curves like actively tried to find roads with turns in anyway it’s been incredible and I can’t believe it’s even coming to an

End I know yeah it’s uh the time has gone by so quickly look at all the red brick on this street reminds me of some parts of the UK this this sort of style of Street it really does I didn’t expect to see Brick like this oh yeah

I do love going through all these towns yeah yeah they’re not like places you would go out the way to visit but they’re great to pass through aren’t they just to see a little bit of the country gives you a real feel for the country too oh yeah it

Does oh it’s nice to be back in the forest again him it is I thought we were siet trees in Finland but after a few a few weeks in the baltics now I’m I’m craving these trees again yeah the silver Birches again and then the sun is

Starting to go down and it’s just shining through the trees which is quite nice the air is a lot fresher here isn’t it than those more industrial areas yeah there’s a lot of big towns and small villages here in in Poland that you pass through yeah it seems like they’re

Either really densely populated or really Spar sparsely populated there like no in between just about to come to another little village I think this one was called forg I think did they pronounce the W’s as V’s like in German possibly I’m not sure but it was nice to go through that

Forest section for a bit yeah there you go TKA this one’s good yeah sweet nice and quiet it’s coming towards evening it’s about half 5 it’s half 5 yeah it’s half 5 already wow that day’s gone quick well it’s all has hasn’t it I guess we didn’t leave wara TOS in

Before midday it’s true can’t believe how warm it is as well it’s lovely weather’s great right we’re back on the Polish motorways now we’ve got 2 hours until Bruno so I think um we’ll pull over at the next Services put our air plugs in put the GoPro away and try and enjoy the

Last 2our cruise down to Bruno what you think yeah it sounds like a good plan let’s do this okay we’ve not long crossed the border into the Czech Republic and we actually had a nice Sunset to ride into the roads in the Czech Republic are absolutely

Fantastic they’re all brand new so was a really easy ride in on the motorway super smooth and you can get about 130 there on the roads there so we’re making good progress look like mem’s having a little formal strike down here I think she’s had enough for one day

I just need a moment that I’m not moving for just needs a moment just one minute and then I’ll be fine all right while mem has her moment I’m going to go and look for a hotel on hotels.com cuz we’re going to be in buo in about 50 minutes I

Think so yeah we should get there before it’s dark I would like it to be known that the reason I don’t feel very good today is because of the motorways here the bumps like in the road makes it feel like you’re like doing this miles away

Yeah I think that’s the only option it’s the nice option you that one then yeah we have just arrived in brino um after a big SLO on the motorway we must have done 500 km today easy yeah easy 500k today but it’s going to mean for a

Smaller day tomorrow I think we’ve only got like 180 km to Vienna tomorrow so that’s great that is great no that’s more than great that’s awesome actually because that means like we’ve only got 500 km to home basically to actually ride pretty much even less than that if we’re as

We’re taking the train that’s going to be good but uh it doesn’t seem so busy here does it we’re only 2 minutes away from the hotel tonight so I’m hoping that this place is going to be like a quiet mini version of Prague but I don’t know

I haven’t really known much about this place to be honest we haven’t researched it much have we we’ve just seen it on the map so it was along the rout and we haven’t been here so hey let’s go check it out that was the plan wasn’t it looks like we’re getting more and

More into the city center a few TRS the have seen better days but they are pretty oh yeah they’re a bit crumbly that one’s got the usual net on it to collect all the bits that are falling down look at the face you can see them those faces on the wall yeah you

Can there’s a lot of police about tonight which isn’t giving me the best feeling about is no they’re not in the rush they’re just patrolling can you smell fire oh well you reckon it there’s a little fire and they all like to come out explain fire bump oh it’s

Okay sometimes the bumps look like they’re huge no they’re nothing BMW stocks suspension doing a while one might [Laughter] say well that’s a bit weird is it there we are Palace the Palace Hotel I don’t think it’s a palace to be honest it wouldn’t have such a sign if it was a

Palace the e e Palace E it do look great babe it doesn’t does it no there lot lingering people about is this I wonder if this is the parking for the palace on the left where everyone’s going I think it is is it I’m going to

Go inside there with them I think all right I guess park it in the corner maybe I should unload the biks first that’s probably an idea isn’t it all right well I’m going to go and check in see where our room is so we’ve checked into the Palace

Hotel here in Bruno I think the name Palace Hotel was a little bit ironic to be honest but but anyway we’re here now on the way in the security seemed very high within the hotel so I’m not sort of sure what sort of area it is but the guy

At the reception didn’t want to let us Park the bike in the inner Court said there was no room left but uh after a little bit of a discussion we did in the end there’s the inner Court as you can see there’s plenty of room I think he

Realized that you can actually sneak a bike into one gigantic car park without any issues so happy that the bike is parked Within the inner court at least we know it’ll be safe and finally checkout is 10:00 a.m. tomorrow here which is a bit rubbish as well cuz that

Doesn’t give us much time to go and see the city in the morning but we’ll try and see what we can before we head on further south to Vienna but that’s good night from us from now

    1. Hi Sean and Emily! Riding through The Czech Republic many times since the 90s and they have always had nice motorways compared to other countries in Europe. Watching your videos makes me longing for the summer 🙂 Thanks you so much for sharing your journey. You two are really an inspiration🙂

    2. You two must be exhausted and ready for a day or two off the bike! It's sad to think it's nearly over, but I guess you are ready for home now! Good that you got Shadow securely parked, what an A-hole that chap was telling you the parking lot was full, he probably is a bit anti-biker! 🙄

    3. Nice ride again! I am happy that I found your channel when YouTube recommended your Helsinki video. I have still some episodes from Norway and Sweden to watch from that trip.
