What’s up guys it’s Sam again at psych technology in Wakefield um today we’re going to be revisiting and I know I bang on about it all the time but I do love it this is my fuel exe allly version with the samam T type uh drivetrain on
It um we’re just going to revisit I’ve had this bike for about a month now uh so I just want to talk about some small changes that I’ve made how I think the bike rides on on on a proper ride out in the trails and stuff um so I’m just
Going to go through go through a few bits with you now um the first thing I want to talk about is the pedals that I’ve added I had some cheaper pedals on if you noticed in the last YouTube unboxing video I had some Shimano gr something on them anyway I I cracked
Them on a few rocks and they don’t work properly anymore so I’ve gone for some these are not called Trager pedals anymore they’ve actually been branded Tre uh these are the line Pro pedals um I think they’re about 120 quid but they are a really nice pedal they feel so
Good underf foot they feel really solid you can extend the pins by like another two millim if you take these little washes out and and really get them sticking to the bottom of your your flat SS if that’s how you ride um couple of personal Touches for myself I’ve got
Mentioned in one of the other videos the oneup EDC component pump and integrated tool just in for for every eventuality punctures broken chains and things out on the trail and if the worst case scenario should happen and I can’t plug it with a bacon strip
On my rear tire or whatever I’ve got a spare in tube strapped here which might look a little bit daff but like I say I want to be able to just grab this bike and go I don’t want to have to be taking a backpack and thinking about what
Things I’ve got in it this is my bike I use it for everyday riding commuting to and from work and out on the trail so I want it to be be ready for every eventuality hence the tube on there uh I’ve added some mud guards I’ve got some
SKS mud rocker mud guards um I not quite sure what they are RP at to be honest with you but we do sell them here in store they are proper proper solid mood guards the way that they attach to the bike um how tough they are once they’re
On there how little they move when you’re doing drops and things and how much cover you get from them like I say I ride this bike in all conditions and the the mud guards are a welcome addition to keep me from getting mud and water and all sorts of crap sprayed up
All over my face and my back they they are really good mud guyss I can’t speak highly enough of them couple more things I wanted to talk about uh volume spacers I’ve gone completely maxed out with the volume spaces still bought them out every now and then but actually for the
Most part the spens the suspension is nice is how I like it uh I’ve got bont trer ion Pro RT light at the front which helps me see my way in the dark when I’m riding even at night time and there’s no lights around uh and I got myself a quad
Lock as well because there’s trails around where I live but I don’t know I don’t know my way around him yet so I’m going to get my phone up here and hopefully use Kimo or something to to show me some more Trails okay cool that’s everything I’ve got to say about
My bike so far now we’re going to take you out around Wakefield for a quick thr hopefully we can find some decent riding spots I’ll see you out There
