Join Theo and myself as we travel north to Newcastle upon Tyne, for Newcastle Winter Wonderland 2023

Hosted by The Big Wish Ltd, this Fair is located at a new location of Newcastle Utilita Arena, in the centre of Newcastle. This is a pay per ride fair with an entry fee of £2.50. Rides are then priced from about £3, and you can stay on site for as long as you like. There are bars, catering stands, a Grotto and plenty of game stands. There is no car park on this occasion, but one very close by. We used ‘Time Square Car Park’, a 5 minute walk from the event.

Please note we use specific equipment to film on rides. We strongly suggest that you don’t use your phone on rides.

Welcome back to the channel welcome back to another fun fair Vlog welcome back to Winter Wonderland number seven 10 number 10 I don’t we’re number 10 I’ve actually lost count of uh how many Vlogs we’ve done for winter wonderland it’s not 10 though welcome to Newcastle we have come to the new ground

At the utility arena in Newcastle City Center so we’ll uh take you for a tour show you what he here take you on some rides and tell you our thoughts on this new location but before we do all that make sure you are subscribed to the channel and follow us on our social

Media platforms including Facebook and Instagram all the links are in the description below click the description and uh you’ll find it now firstly I must say the ground here is already better because it’s on a car park where it normally is at the race course it’s on

Um sheating but it’s on grass and the car park is for render is there one of the things I hated about that location but they’re trying it here or maybe they’re staying here I’m not too sure but they’re a here by the utility or at the utility Arena which is next to one

Of the uh Bridges the ti Rivers literally there and I was a little bit skeptical about the parking situation thinking we’re going to struggle for parking we parked in time street car park and it’s busy but doable and looking at the pricing it’s not that bad

I was looking at the Metro and parking at a park of using that to come here uh but I chose again to took the risk of parking the car par I’ll put you some details in the description below to give you our sort of insight of where to go

Um and how we did it also the dates are there of course you’ve seen him already I am joined with channel number two no one channel number one hey Theo hi now of course I’m channel number one cuz I’m more famous than you yeah that’s fine and now as I mentioned we’ve done

Newcastle Winter Wonderland a few times in the past this isn’t the hoppins we’ve done the hoppins we’re not far from the hoppins if I’m honest with you Town Mo’s only down the road uh but yeah it’s the it’s not the first time we’ve done here but it’s the first time we’ve done this

Ground so it be uh kind of like interested of uh the ride line up the it’s very condensed uh there’s definitely left less rides here uh and there’s quite a few people here um the Wither is very windy and it’s taken out the booster unfortunately which is over there gForce

Is here let’s let’s go for a walk and see what’s here yeah now down here is the entrance is just over there so I’m not going to walk over there but you can see where all the Stalls are there like a coffee Lounge um they’ve got a handmade or homemade crumble there that

Sounds really interesting and they’ve got a little stall there what homemade homemade crumble where where over there next to the tree yeah that’s over there we have a wheel you can see this from the bridge obviously see a lot of things from the bridge to be

Fair uh we have on yeah they are rocking we got a t cups which is from the Northwest uh we’ve got a um I don’t know what you call these like elevated jet but planes we’ve got a um a fun house what well we from Northwest where Northwest is is

Northeast so we’re in Northeast we’re in the Northeast now we’re from the Northwest so we’re nor is oh what yeah that’s from Manchester oh moving on we are H we got a fun house now the spotted it it was like we’ve done this before but I looked and I’m pretty sure we

Haven’t yeah we have where I don’t know it does look familiar yeah not too sure yeah it’s not that I recognize anyway one R we certainly have done before these Dodge this is McKay’s rock and roll Dodge yeah I’ve done these before 1.2 to ride your own car just so you

Know so yeah there’ll be a dodging battle in this Vlog of course you all love the dodging battles white te’s ghost train is in the background now go a little bit closer from what I’ve seen I’ve not seen any actors in there H for a ground of this sort of scope I would

Expect the actors to be there but less are inside I’ve not actually seen them uh this goes to the hoppins I think goes to some big grounds this one you’re a good ghost train you’re not going to see the on it oh you going to do it worth a

Try uh just making sure I’ve not missed anything loads of game stalls around here we got a uh toy set there’s the Dodge that I mentioned just a moment ago and as as I started the Vlog I mentioned the booster gForce is here this is UN loan I believe it’s

Still un loan under mmbs going around like that yeah I don’t I don’t think it would now it’s folded down due to the wind it’s in a very exposed location it’s next to the time River um so the wind is coming right over the river and yeah they can’t even

Have it up this is the problem with k MGS because they’ve got if you see a Fab they’re very Hollow fabes uh and the wind goes straight through them so for example we’ve got um the booster in Blackpool on the sea front and if you think blackpool’s a very exposed area

That can with stand some winds these can’t and that’s the r with kgs as much as are really good now I did this a couple of weeks ago at Trafford Center I’m hoping mmbs keep hold of this cuz it’s a decent it’s a decent booster P I’m not doing it

What puss I’m not doing it what did you just say you can’t say can’t say that uh so yeah um I don’t know if they’re going to uh take it on or whether they have it another year I hope they do and the be are branched out

And they’re getting a few new rides next year I’m hoping this is going to stay in their lineup I’m not sure but unfortunately due to the wind it is closed now upon asking Vio said he would probably do this would you and it’s a kmg he’s not done a kmg

Yet so that is one to do and I’m really looking forward to doing this but with’ um with it being tilted what it is tilted it’s what tilted yeah but that’s just the way it is it’s always like that well it’s not that’s how they look

Folded so then when that goes on its trailer which on his trailer that will basically fold down and lay flat what of a trail I tell you that’s their extreme cash bo extreme is in the freak out I can’t call it freak out cuz it’s not a

Freak out so unfortunately we don’t have that open loads of game stalls as you can see as we go around uh we’ve got a caterpillar coaster that is a uh Christmas themed with its um reindeers at the front I’m just looking at it I’m wondering if this is

Similar I think we’ve done this one I really think we’ve done this Liverpool pierhead used to have a winter wonderand before they decided it was I don’t know what they decided but they said they weren’t doing it anymore at the pear head and I’m pretty sure

This was a might not be the same one what fed that’s how they always are always filed every single one kgs yeah Al SC oh we got a busy what what about fab what what about Fab fabes though no they’re they’re straight uh Santa’s Grotto there we’ve got monster trucks we’ve got

Balloons what are you saying now I not done Havey be you have but not kmg that’s why I was excited for you saying that you wanted to do it it’ll break a new milestone in you and your boosters what king scior we’ll get a minute now then we’ve got another

Coaster here which is a bit like a little Thunder Mountain correct me if I’m wrong is this the one that was at the Vintage Fair in skes I’m sure the Train’s shorter than normal it’s confusing me if I’m honest with you I’m sure the Train’s a little

Bit longer is this the one that was at the Vintage Fair this year in skes what vintage you know skes Vintage Fair I don’t remember you don’t remember you know we were at sket and we went on the wa Winger we went on the health Skelter and Mommy fell over in the fun

Well anyway this’s a sizler I’ll find out I know whose it is I know who it is okay back to you Though all right that is the not familiar but we do have Scottish showman here Midnight Express the M horn this is Johnson I’ve said a few times about uh like Newcastle big grounds especially the hoppins um it’d be great to see a lot more Scottish machines there the hoppins has a massive capacity we do see um Scottish showman go there to be fair I don’t think this is one of them

Actually don’t think they go Hobbins Scottish ride uh Turners I only know because it’s this one the Turners own that oh yeah License To Thrill frogs which is turners that’s how I remembered they are Bas up here I feel like I might have got that wrong you know it was like aot chocol

What hot choc food STS yeah licensed The Thrill Is that definitely Turners cuz it’s on the back of his uh Place yeah I might have got that rock you know I’m not too sure going my way stop walking in front of me another Johnson’s ride the Miami again another Scottish machine black

Bar as I mentioned Liverpool pierhead this ride might be a little bit familiar this is Avalanche Walt this is a daily hares who travel under Carousel funf that is theirs so Carousel based in Manchester and this was kind of the last minute sort of thing cuz it was available

Normally uh at the ground that do um at Newcastle window Wonderland you see a lot of Davis’s rides but they’re not this year so there was availability for Walter and I’ll be honest with you I wouldn’t expect them to have been up here but it’s nice to see Northwest in

The Northeast uh want to say Liverpool pierhead this used to go to the Liverpool pierhead before they stopped here and this was dressed in the same canopy so they were always ready for It gu what staring Up DOD him bumper cars uh mmb’s extreme if we can call it freak out here however I’m not too sure what’s happened here um I knew it was here um I don’t know if it’s even been open if I’m honest with you but the first thing I saw was like oh um what

H not not the quebe be the Q um yeah so we have done seen this again it goes to Newcastle winter windland normally uh along with their super bom which you’ll see in a moment uh but yeah I don’t know what’s happened here the the cars are

Not even on it so I don’t know if it’s been opened and then they’ve had an issue and they’re pulling it down and a replacement will come in play or whether they’ve had issues building it up and they’ve not built it up yet I’m not too

Sure which one that is um but yeah unfortunately that’s another ride closed play that speaking of mmbs there super Bobbies here though and that is open so I might find out what’s happened with the uh the extreme but the the the um booster’s got a good reason for it

Cuz the wind it doesn’t feel windy archery get copyright again and then to box this tour off we have got a cherro plane and this looks quite traditional uh is a toy set but it looks like a do you know what that could be easily a mini wal set could it it just

Looks like a mini wal so he’s even got the middle pay box in the middle that’s nice uh the entrance is here uh it’s £ 250 to enter Which is less than last year I’m pretty sure it was a five last year um but you do

Get vouches I say vouchers you get money off vouchers which I seem to have lost there we go uh you get quite a few actually uh these uh discount with my mouth um two four five get 20 of them so it pays for itself really I do believe

That if you pay to enter a site that is definitely the thing they should do in my opinion I think it’s quite inviting oh there we go details it’s on until the 7th of January if you want I’ll put details below and ni toour complete quite a lot

In one of the early Fair Trades this this is Theo’s very first Walter wasn’t it Blackpool 2018 when Theo was just three I think totally forgot about that it was one of Theo’s very first rides we went to way before our vlogging days way before about a year before

Noticing the the think yeah yeah yeah I couldn’t help noticing though that the sequence I don’t know what happened to the sequencing it was quite funny to watch but if you notice there was a bit of a the car in front went really high

Up so it goes to show that they can do Max High I was told that they all can do Max high it’s up to the show that whether they want them to go that high interesting I don’t know if that’s true or not but we did see that one it

Doesn’t do ma High in the run but we did see it happen so just want to point out look what’s here I’ve said this before when it was at um heat and park this is um horus’s um sea storm cash box before they got a new one this year and

Obviously now the uh token pay box you’ll notice a lot of more walers now have taken on the idea of having a pay box before you go on the Walter and now the New Gen Walters the New Gen fair trade um have the cash box on the outside now anyway where you off

So I do think that’s always the best they’ve not got it on today cuz it’s not actually that busy on here there’s a lot of people around but none of the rides are really busy super bobing action right next ride what is it next ride what is where’s up

More tolerable uh super Bobs and it’s got quite a high side so on here you’re not hanging off the edge Upside and down again upside and down again upside and down again upside upside yes it’s a f ride forward here we go not too sure if I wanton that yeah inside now are you okay he’s just chilling he just got laugh you not got your arm like this the phone my alive

For yeah that was a long cycle crazy wait till the r STS before entering our leaving bye yes Excell super Bob super bobing and as it said to him in time I don’t appreciate the super Bob off because of the sides of the cars the cars on here are so much higher and

I always forget about that cuz I’ve been on a few super Bobs um and they absolutely kill this one is all right it’s got some speed it’s very rough as a super Bob would be but because of the um that um because um because of the way the uh cars

Are it it’s tolerable and I don’t appreciate that enough so yeah a good super B this it goes to Hall it’s that good you can only get the best of Hall can’t you we going get H chocol yeah we’re going to be going in a minute um how was the Super Bob

Good I like that that’s good we’re working on it aren’t we yeah would you like you got a bit of foam in your a um Theo would you like to elaborate a little bit more on that no no okay so I then no okay um so I

About uh gForce and what’s happening with that there’s no confirmation of if they’re going to keep hold of it the the I think they do want to purchase it um so I’m hoping they get to keep it for another year cuz that is a potential I

Don’t know um so it’ll be good to see GeForce and now about because we’ll see it quite a lot next year keep it all year keep it every year we’ll see won’t we H but that was the Super Bob and also the last ride of the Vlog hope you’ve enjoyed the
