    1. Wow! That mystery house!😮 Stunning, but that spiral stairway is a big downside. The views you get from the "tower" are breathing though, that would have been my favourite room! That property just kept on giving! Truly epic, as Jonnie said. God bless him!

All homes were beautiful in their own way though, #1 had great potential, wonderful views and was super cozy. I'd have chosen that with their budget (ha! one can dream).
      Again, thanks for sharing this!😍

    2. It would be nice to know what they decided about the properties that were shown to them. The usual expectation is to have some kind of closing comment about their decision.

    3. Such a lovely couple! Of course, Jonnie handled it all with ease. With such a healthy budget, I'll wager that they would have a gardener and housekeeper to care for the mystery property. In both aspects one would finish all that would be required and literally have to start all over. That staircase is impressive to look at, but circular stair cases can be a problem. It would be a huge challenge for me to care for the home, entertain, keep up the holiday let, give piano lessons and knit/crochet. Good on Jonnie for this success!

    4. Ahhh I personally think the mystery house us awful! Hideous from the outside and nothing warm about the inside.
For such an ostentatious house the kitchen was small and basic…and ugly.
Bathrooms were basic too ..nothing sleek.
I was shocked they liked it.
      🤷‍♀️

    5. Love this program.
The mystery house had far too many stairs and will cost a fair amount to maintain those beautiful grounds.
Love the character and warmth of the first house.
Would be wonderful to know their final decision.

    6. House number one is the most outstanding. Of course the land in the mystery property is wonderful, but I didn't like the house at all. It is impressive (the amount of money spent) but it looks like an american house- and the finish is very 80's or early 90's regular spec. I also did not like the layout or stairs..or railings and spindles, tile choices etc….Nevertheless, everyone has their own tastes. They were a lovely couple, and I really hope that they chose house #1 which was just so breath-taking, and gave them a gorgeous house to live in, as well as a phenomenal letting business…along with a place for breeding their alpacas.

    7. Very interesting episode with great properties. House 1 seemed perfect for them, had a great kitchen and already up and running holiday lets. I found house number 2 a little too minimalist for my taste. Mystery house – wow! Never seen anything like it on ETTC. From the outside, it looked chunky and vulgar. Inside was impressive and some amazing features like the room at the top with the amazing views, and great walk-in closets. The cherry on the cake was the fabulous landscaped gardens. It's the kind of place that I could enjoy staying in for a few days for a luxury weekend, but to live in – no thanks! I wonder what they did in the end?

    8. First house all the way- the mystery was ghastly bourgeois. The facade was more builder than architect, just pure vulgarity. Spiral staircases (stuck in the middle of the entrance hall) are useless. Jonny is just the smoothest presenter on this show,
