TV in your car on your digital Radio and on your smart spe speaker by saying play GB news now it’s time for Headliners hello and welcome to Headliners your first look at Sunday’s papers I’m your host Andrew Doyle and tonight I’m joined by a comedian who is on Santa’s nice list it’s creser weton and someone who is very much on the North list well technically it’s more of a register it’s lisis schaer are you

Both well Louis you do seem a bit grumpy tonight I’m I’m grumpy tonight because I’m having I’m worried about because I’m doing tonight and tomorrow and then the so you’re complaining about working too much no I’m not complaining about working too much I don’t know how I’m

Going to get into the studio there’s going to be no trains I didn’t realize there were no trains over just riding on a husky why why are there no trains because that’s what happens in winter in this country when there’s the trains just collapse don’t expect things to

Work leou no but it’s they I’ve heard that they’re not they they they deserve a day off too the people who running the train and so do you leis but you have to make your way in because I booked you now just ride a bike have you got a bike

I’m aren’t I a bit too old to ride a bike doesn’t believe in exercise exercise he’ll make it in there’s going to be an audience he’ll make it in he’ll make it in yeah happy to is isn’t it true that we deserve a day off too why should we be performing

For people who who who are not working okay tomorrow Show is canceled everyone so don’t bother watching okay let’s start with the front pages the uh mail on Sundays leading with Eco activist King’s green Christmas Day message the Sunday Telegraph is running with Cameron malign Iran is a threat to the world and

Ben Wallace says we should give KV 4x4s for Christmas the Sunday Times has NHS chairman doctors strikes make me fear for patience and Michelle moan complained she’s been treated like Pablo Escobar after Bank freeze and the front cover of the Observer assisted dying former Health Chiefs join calls for new

Law and first female referee takes charge of Top Flight game the Sunday Express chancellor of Britain says don’t let scrooges drag you down and finally The Daily Star Mommy Mia Mrs Browns boys apparently helps autistic children those were your front Pages okay chador what’s the front of the maale doing okay Eco activist King’s green Christmas Day message so it’s not a big surprise the king is going to give his speech tomorrow and it’s going to be a very green speech um so apparently he he recorded it in front of a live living

Christmas tree ah should have uh I think they should do it live always with a proper audience rather than yeah and have a have a warm up act you know make make a show of it you know I think that I think that King’s got a good five minutes in him

Stand up so obviously he’s going to be talking about Green issues however no not necessarily obviously because he has such a reputation for having an interest in this area people were worried at the time of his coronation that he would be too much of an activist Monarch and that

He would be bringing these ideas into into his tenure uh so should he just deliberately steer clear of these kinds of issues well everyone’s comparing him to his mom aren’t they he’s in Mom’s Shadow and she would she would have kept a tight lip and been very uh very Ro

Still don’t know what her opinions were on anything no exactly you know exactly and that’s the way it should be right well I mean that was her thing that was her stick wasn’t it I mean I guess times are changing but he’s a bit toned deaf because everyone’s supposed to be broke

And he’s talking about yeah well I mean he may as well talk about Homeopathy which I believe he’s also into but what you think that makes more sense first of all the people I don’t no one knew what the queen was thinking about anything right except the monarchy I’m pretty

Sure she was supporting the monarchy yes I don’t think she was a republican no I don’t think she was so we knew that and and this King I mean listen to me this King as you know as you know I’m an American so my opinion is not valid when

It comes to if you want to have the monarchy that’s your business as English British people whatever you guys are but the truth is this guy is worried about green issues which aren’t really green issues they’re just basically World control and population control issues

And and he is the most unb of all the monarchs he’s he’s not he doesn’t he’s not fighting for English people but climate change is a serious issue and he wants to address it you know you you can’t say that people just made up the hole in the ozone layer it’s there

It’s not the ozone layer that’s not the issue that’s a that you’re you’re about 20 years they tried to make people afraid of that too at the what is it now carbon footprint carbon footprint yeah it’s complete it’s 99% rubbish it’s just a way for him and his world economic for

But I don’t know I’m going to forun CES do you think it’s all rubbish oh it’s I I mean I think the environment matters I’m not I I don’t know um I’m sorry I’m say say what you think there is a consensus leis that climate change is

Real science is not based on consensus if it was based on consensus we’d be sitting there how many how many angels fit on the fit on a pin well the consensus is there’s it’s science is science is not that I don’t know what science is velikovsky but it’s not that

Okay well I’m sure some people at home understood what LS was saying we’re going to move on to the Sunday Telegraph what are they leading with a lot of complicated stuff Cameron Milan Cameron David Cameron remember that guy he’s like the Tony Blair of his age uh malign

Iran is threat to the world and I had to look up what they mean by malign I would have said malignant Iran yes malign feels like a verb well it is a verb but it can be an adjective as well when you Iran they saying Iran is bad Iran is bad

And they’re they’re Bas and basically they’re getting the hoodies to do their bidding for them um to do their bidding for well that’s true I mean the problem is that the Iranian regime is funding the hooti rebels in Yemen and also Hamas as we know so you know this you know

Cameron isn’t wrong to say that the Iranian regime is malign or malignant whichever you would prefer and something does have to be done about it doesn’t it because this is going to continue the October 7th pogram would not have happened if it weren’t for Iran would

Have happened for you sorry go on cres no I’m just agreeing I think you’re absolutely right what outrageous thing are you about to say I’m about to say that that that all those houses in the Gaza and all those tunnels were built with European a lot of European and even

American money that’s true that a lot of the aid money that went to Gaza was spent by Hamas on those Tunnels for water for water pipes that have since been used to build Rockets ABS no that is all absolutely true however you can’t really deny uh the Iranian regime’s

Involvement in this kind of stuff they close ties to Hezbollah as well you know you know we can’t pretend that this is I mean mign is fine I think we used to call the axis of Evil andam was in the axis of which I preferred actually cuz

That’s quite a dramatic I had an ed show called axis of Evil actually because I like the phrase so much um it doesn’t really suit me um but you know I think but I think some it’s difficult to put international pressure on uh on uh Iran but something has to be done yeah

Exactly um couldn’t agree more what about this K of uh GNA Ben Wallace wants us to give the the 4x4s to them this is the the charity shop don’t throw it out give it to give it to Kev to keep a war going but we’re bored with that war it’s

Time for us to do another War as Andrew is promoting he’s promoting we’ve got to do I’m not promoting War not you just said we’ve got to do something about Iran that sounds like I didn’t say let’s invade or fight Iran well what else is there let’s let’s have

Some robust diplomatic approaches to the region why you take responsibility for the things that you say Andrew you’re trying to come across as this Mr Nice Guy you’re basically saying let’s get into war with Iran I don’t like Iran any more than anybody I can’t take responsibility for the things you

Imagine I say I can only take responsibility for the things I actually say we take a vote what did he say what did I say did I call for a war and a wrong no he’s not calling for a war he’s he’s acknowledging the gravity of the situation and he’s saying that Cameron’s

Got a point and he’s got to we’ve got to do something about a ride so he’s calling for war so you don’t accept cr’s explanation you owe me an apology she works for you she’s just a a St a sto for me yeah I always put one of my

Puppets on the panel to defend my position that’s what’s going on I didn’t think I’d feel like this in the first section tonight yeah Louis you’re going full speed tonight aren’t you let’s move on to the cover of the Sunday Times who’s got Sunday times I have NHS

Chairman uh doctor strikes make me fear for patients well that’s that’s fair isn’t it oh yeah yeah because when there’s no doctors and patients go to the hospital they don’t get treat so I think that’s an entirely reasonable headline I haven’t got the full story um

But yeah so Richard medings is saying we can’t continue like this a six day walk out six day walk out it’s so difficult isn’t it when it when it comes to strikes you know in in these sort of uh sectors that are so essential for public services you know it’s like when fire

Brigades strike and you just think there are lives at risk at this point and I understand that you need more money and and I do support people’s right to withhold their labor I think that’s really important but when it comes to this kind of like in France I believe

They’ve got a law that you can’t strike to that extent if you’re part of an essential public service that does kind of feel fair enough to me well it does when it’s Medical stuff doesn’t it it’s just too serious as much as I hate the nanny State idea well cuz you guys are

You guys are believers in uh in in medicine I think I think when the I think when the doctors go on strike people have a better chance of living the further you stay away from a hospital any Hospital the happier healthier you will be L is here tonight

With the worst advice in the world he really is he’s going to ride a bike in for two days to work a bike that he doesn’t have and when he breaks his leg what’s he going to do if the doctor yeah where would you go when you break your leg riding to work

W a raw steak around it you know something broken bones and itches are pretty much the old and even itches is is it’s basically 98% of what the hospitals and doctors do yeah is wrong or useless you know what Lis you’re right skeletons are a myth we don’t have

Them I’ve never seen one let’s just assume they no bones need to be fixed I agree with that but you don’t you don’t need you don’t need to have somebody who goes to the medical school to fix a fix a bone bones I’d prefer one though yeah

Yeah I would definitely prefer one okay let’s move on to the cover of the Sunday Express leis you got this well this is good news upbeat festive meetings the chancellor who’s Jeremy Hunt says Britain has finally turned a corner don’t let Scrooge drag you down it’s about the economy being better but the

Truth is is let is that they readjusted the economic figures last month to show that to show that the there was negative not negative growth it was shrinking I don’t know what what negative growth is uh you’re you’re all about the detail though I mean I saw a video on this uh

Yeah good I’m glad you’ve been able to share it so C and that if and that if it has one more quarter yes of being bad news will be in recession well look at this turn okay I don’t think it’s just PR I mean I think there’s more to be

Grateful for than we thought we thought we were going to be in a much worse state post brexit as it turns out we’re doing pretty well economically you know we’re recovering from the pandemic much quicker than France and much quicker than Germany you know since on had to revise their figures they suddenly

Realized actually the UK is in a pretty good in pretty good shape I you know I I think it’s good to have a positive message about the economy at this point particularly in this cost of living crisis brilliant but a good news I’m happy with that I’ll take it uh yeah

Let’s just take the good news and not complain about can I can I just say here’s positive news Merry Christmas I’m giving cres a CHR Christmas present why not for me we all know what this you I think you might feature in it oh oh oh I

Think we know it’s it’s Louis’s calendar be very surprised if it was aome open it up and while you’re opening up your I brought you your Christmas present early but Louis are we not on to tomorrow together we’re on tomorrow would it be more appropriate to give it to me on

Christmas Eve it would be I’ll probably maybe give you something else on Christmas Eve okay but uh but I had to do this now because I didn’t want I didn’t want how did you know I didn’t want to give cres a present in not year okay so definitely don’t have right this

Is so hectic what does she give what oh it’s the Louis for calendar what a surprise you must have a ton of those in your garage basically you’re just trying to shift them no’s big shout out to Lucy to Lucy Harmon oh look I’m from the West Country and this is perfect my

Birthday’s in April I’ll think of you with a cow open yours we’re running out of time no I tell you what we’ll do for the sake of a cliffhanger I will open the president from leis schaer after the break and you’ll have to come back to

See what it is uh join us though because after the break we’re going to be talking about struggling Tories and insisted dying see you in Two good afternoon Breton good afternoon Britain join us Tom and Emily to find out what’s happening in the heart of Westminster and why it matters to you weekdays from midday we bring you the most compelling stories from across the United Kingdom and from your doorstep to

Need to know before you’ve even had your kippers Headliners every morning at 5:00 a.m. only on GB news the people’s Channel Britain’s News Channel GB news unlike other broadcasters isn’t obsessed with the London Westminster bubble we think there’s a nation beyond the M25 and that’s why we talk about the issues

That matter across the land join me on state of the nation 8 to 9:00 Monday to Thursday on GB news Daisy’s listening and you should too in the GB news room we bring you the news as it happens with our team of dedicated journalists across the UK we’re ready to give you accurate

On GB news the people’s Channel Britain’s News Channel your weekend starts here with Friday Night Live with me Mark Dolan 8 till 9 on GB news big stories big guests and big laughs as we get you ready for a cracking weekend that’s Friday Night Live with Mark Dolan Fridays 8il 9: on

GB news bring your own drinks the emissions free tired of the usual Focus tested pre-prepared Westminster runaround well so am I so you want higher taxes is your department to blame for this are you rethinking this policy every Sunday at 9:30 I’ll be sitting down with those in

Power to get the truth about the issues affecting you let’s be honest we’ve known about the cost pressures of this project for years not months that’s the Camila Tomy show a politics show with personality on GB news the people’s Channel Britain’s News Channel I’m Andrew Doyle join me at 7:00

Every Sunday night for free speech Nation the show where I tackle the week’s biggest stories in politics and current affairs with the help of my two comedian panelists and a variety of special guests Free Speech Nation Sunday nights from 7 on GB news the people’s Channel Britain’s News Channel welcome back to Headliners uh your first look at Sunday’s newspapers I’m Andrew Doyle and with me are creser thigh high weton and Lis new low schaer I yeah anyway um before the break Louis schaer did give me this uh premature Christmas gift so I’ll open it

I have no idea what this is quite genuinely but it’s always very exciting to open a gift uh so um okay um I’m actually slightly frightened by this leou what does it I mean it it looks like we’re about to kiss it say it says you’re Team Lewis okay Team Lewis

How did you get that photo it does look like we’re about to embrace it’s a real photo you but that never happened it did happen I guess there well there’s a big homerotic CH on in our relationship and he just m caught the moment now I’ve

Never seen it before well there we go thank you leis okay brilliant right so we’re going to kick off this section with the Observer story about assisted dying so a change of tone I’m afraid yes uh two former Health secretaries joined calls for new law on assisted dying so

Um these two former people one’s from conservatives one’s from labor so uh conservative Steven durl and labors Alan Milbourne are stating that they are behind this idea of of rethinking assisted dying is currently illegal lots of people would like to bring it in and it feels like this is kind of changing

Mood as as we get more and more postmodern and closer to being our own God so the problem with all of this stuff is I mean there’s been debates about euthanasia for many many years there are pro you know there’s fears of exploitation uh and of course there’s

Nothing more sacred or valuable than a human life by the same token when people are in incredible pain there’s nothing that people can do you want people to retain their dignity I completely understand both sides of this argument but I have to be honest I don’t have a

Resolution I think I don’t I haven’t decided where I stand I think Canada they’ve gone way too I mean the Canadian government is putting out adverts encouraging people to commit suicide it’s just bizarre isn’t it and I don’t know if it’s a bit dramatic to say it

But there were things that the Nazis did that in the beginning were meant to be compassionate moves five minutes later they definitely weren’t compassionate they they introduced this idea and I you can’t think of a state sort of trying to save money by encour it I just think it’s

Absol’s in favor of it he voted for it in 2015 when fell apart so he’s going to be the next PM I think it’s yeah I mean leis I I I just really mistrust this kind of thing um the fact is if people are not happy living we just die no just

No no you’re wrong what you said because you said you said you know obviously they’ve got to do something about it but if you’re not happy living in a second you can go it’s like me right now some of these shows are just so atrocious and

I just want to die but I don’t die because I don’t really want to die and that’s what this is this isn’t suicide this is assisted it’s assisted D well people do say it’s murder I mean this is like the equivalent of dignitas I suppose and Canada is the number one

Country for harvested organs around the world now okay what’s that got to do with anything because that’s because that’s what’s coming from this thing people say you’re going to die oh oh you’re about to die to next week can we have your organs and they they take the

Organs not only do they take the organs all that money that’s saved from old people not having to go to the nursing home not being in the hospitals it’s this is the death of life it’s a team World concept they hate people you know who hates people the most King Charles

No I’m I’m really not sure I didn’t expect it to go that way U but I would say that there is something sinister about the state encouraging citizens to I think it’s coming but I’m not maybe it is okay onto the Sunday Mirror now uh a Banksy

Artwork gets nicked now leis you’ve got this I’ve got this because this is in my neighborhood literally police AR you you know what I wish it had been me police arrest a man over removal of Banksy road sign are worth up to 500,000 pounds we don’t know how much it’s worth it could

Be worth way more than that or nothing really but uh but this is this is a complete I don’t want to say it’s it’s it’s a misappropriation of the law because because Banksy puts up a fake sign yes okay and the guy takes the fake sign off of a post didn’t belong there

In the first place well there’s the sign right now it’s I mean it’s not a fake sign in so far as it’s a work of art in the image of a sign so I don’t think he’s trying to trick people into thinking that it is an actual road sign

This is an anti-war it’s a a thing about calling for a SE not owned by the council it wasn’t put up by the tfl it wasn’t put up no but this is what this is what Banky does I mean it’s a situation why should why should this guy

Who’s one of my PE neighbors get arrested for this well no I don’t think he should exactly but he got arrested and that’s this is the from the Mets Central South C the fact is it’s just oh what do they call that when the police just overstep their Mark police

Overreach overreach I mean precedent that’s a really interesting point is that you know the guy taking the sign as far as I concern that’s not vandalism or you know if you’re going to put your artwork in the streets and it’s going to be valuable I mean I think someone’s

Going to take it I think he probably just did it on aesthetic grounds well the guy that took it yeah Bank SE just CU he not very good no I well I don’t know I don’t know how he knew it was a bank SE I mean Bank SE knows what’s

Going to happen if you put a bank SE outside it’s not going to last long is it yes um I don’t know if it was causing any trouble though from your your road traffic safety concerns cuz it the way it’s positioned it’s not it’s not stopping it’s not tricking somebody into

Stopping no because it wasn’t a proper it wasn’t a re it wasn’t like Banksy went and painted on the stop sign that belonged to Southern Council he he painted he had his own stop sign that he did I mean normally I’m against the desecration of public art but to be

Honest I can’t public art though is it it’s not paid for public funds it’s in public in you know yeah I suppose it’s not quite the same okay well let’s move on now to this story in the Sunday Times and the Tories they’ve got farage hot on

Their tails is that right they have reform UK to challenge Tories in every seat at general election so uh Richard Ty has given his senior team cast iron guarantees um that General election candidates will not be told to step aside for Tory opponents so in previous elections in 2019 because brexit was all

Settling and everything they they stepped out of the way so as not to stop the Tores getting in because they didn’t want Corbin to get in yes of course that’s changed now uh now all the What’s The Phrase the gloves are off and isn’t that an interesting development whereas

Before they were thinking strategically about the policies that they wanted to be seen Advanced now they’re thinking we’re just going to run in every and that does say a lot about how non-tour the Tories have have been and I think that’s where reform is going to try and

Appeal to those disaffected Tory voters who just think they just want a right-wing party in power yeah absolutely and I don’t think they’ll necessarily get in on this election no um no but what they can do is that they can really seriously damage I mean you

Know suat already up against it and the majority is going to obviously deplete very very quickly but this is really going to affect in marginal seats where there are there are the possibilities that reform could poach a few of those marginal seat it’ll make all the difference when it comes to the

Government and the formation of the government well a similar a similar thing happened as far as I know with the uh the Liberal Party back in the day and the rise of the the labor party the Liberal Party under Lloyd George acted very badly during World War I according

To what I know I’m could be wrong you could tweet me and uh and then they were destroyed because they didn’t stand for what their core beliefs are if the Tory party goes down there won’t be the death of the right of a right party there will

Be a new party that comes in in its wake and might be read yeah the problem with that leou is we have a first pass of the post system that pretty much guarantees we’re only ever going to have the two major parties in any position power yes

Exactly so which which party will take the place of a right party well I well what I’m thinking is what might actually happen is labor ends up in a coalition with the lib Dems and they they give the idea of PR of proportional representation as a bargaining chip and

So I think by the time you get to the next election you might have PR which would give some serious clout to the minor parties at that point which I actually would more democratic anyway yeah no it’s not more democratic PR is not more democra course it is Le it’s

Just another way of doing things and didn’t and you know the history of this country more than I do I think that P they had a PR vote and it went very bad but that wasn’t PR that was AV and no one really understood what it meant yeah

Nobody’s going to understand what this thing meant the British people are not going to go for PR is really basic it means every vote counts and it means you get a represented in Parliament according to the the numbers I think that’s just much more and what country

Countes has that been in and what chaos has that brought in Israel it’s brought chaos in Italy it brought chaos okay and look at Germany Germany is on a state system it’s a different system but it has a coalition because it it’s on a different system but the point is no there’s

Coalition governments working in Europe all the time and they work perfectly well yeah I don’t I don’t know that okay fine let’s move on then at that point the Sunday Telegraph now uh and sunak has made moves that Lewis would describe as anti-team world is that right L I

Don’t know if it’s anti-team world I was just having a stab at it I still don’t really know what it means because nuclear power is uh is it he’s basically cutting back on nuclear power right which could be considered I mean it it’s not clear is it whether it’s

Team world or not that’s a that’s a good example of something that’s well LS do you think that nuclear power is the way to go you know given given the issues with the environment I know this is that with the amount of electricity that they want to use for electric cars and

Electric this and electric that there’s not enough electricity in the entire world to come up with this well also isn’t there isn’t there value to having domestically produced electricity and there is and there is and this will save Britain and maybe that’s why they’re cutting cutting back on the thing the

Fact is is that sunak he made five promises a year ago and he did not keep a single one of them well that’s just politics isn’t it I mean so I mean it’ll be very interesting to see I mean look France invested in nuclear technology decades ago and they are reaping the

Benefit now this is a very long-term idea I think pulling back on this stuff is maybe not the way to go even environmentalists are now saying nuclear energy is the way to go I mean feel safer doesn’t it if we can if we can use our own and everything at the moment

Just makes me think is it a distraction from talking about migrants because it doesn’t feel as pressing you no no okay very interesting right finally in this section the mail on Sunday uh and these last minute Christmas shoppers seem really stressed they are pro Palestinian protesters Target Zara stores and bring

Oxford Street to a stand still while they didn’t have their size in it’s not about that it’s it’s not about shopping I don’t know maybe they hadn’t actually it could have been that they were chanting while you’re shopping bombs are dropping but maybe that is what it is

Because Christmas shopping can be very stress if you’ve got some parties go to and you suddenly find like your two dress sizes oh yeah I mean there they are and it just it does strike me as kind of astonishing they’re just going after what a shop that they perceive to

Have connections with or to have supported Israel Zara did an advert a few months ago before the War uh that it’s a like a model in a sort of an artist studio and at her feet there is what looks now like a body wrapped in white fabric yes but the idea is it’s

Supposed to be her mannequin and it’s all chaos and Dusty okay so it’s been interpreted in a certain way but the yes the thing about this is I mean this has annoyed a lot of people this is the worst time for a protest when the the shops are absolutely R people just want

To get stuff done and again it comes down to protesters not picking their moments just stop oil have a tendency to do this as well they just end up alienating annoying the very people that they should be trying to persuade uh Lewis where do you stand on this I stand

On it it was it’s basically good news because there are only a couple of hundred protesters I mean you know the numbers have been drifting downward I don’t know what it is maybe the um maybe those people are at home for Christmas or something yeah it’s probably just

That to be honest or Christmas but the the point is is that is that I don’t know how many people in this country actually back the Palestinians we I don’t think it’s I don’t think it’s we shouldn’t be saying how many on the basis of these protests

You know but what we can say is that there has been an awful lot of people going out and making these protests weekend after weekend they are determined and they’ll do it at any time and and uh you know there obviously there’s a strength of feeling there but

Don’t you find it odd that we don’t hear of many public opinion polls to what people actually feel about the Palestine I think a lot of people don’t understand it I think I think it’s very very comp why don’t we ask people how come in this country has so few public opinion polls

And they ask people what their feelings well maybe we should do that then well anyway that is part two in the can coming up with our female referees underwater cities and a same-sex Nativity what a mix see you in a Moment your weekend starts here with Friday Night Live with me Mark Dolan 899 on GB news big stories big guests and big laughs as we get you ready for a cracking weekend that’s Friday Night Live with Mark Fridays 8: till 9: on GB news bring your own drinks the emissions

Lot of people are surprised because they’re living in like 70 80 years ago when the Germans did a bad thing to the Jews and the truth is is is that it’s a totally different country and they’ve gotten the bad out of their system it it is and you know Germany now their

Biggest that’s an interesting development I think yeah I guess I guess it is but as you said I mean we all know why um well of course so fair enough you know and I would I mean aren’t we just sort of five minutes behind I think

We’ll get to this as well yes or maybe I’m wrong I don’t know I think it’s interesting they’re saying now those seeking citizenship in Germany will have to owledge Israel’s right to exist in writing wow which is quite I mean it hasn’t happened yet was coming in

Because there’s a lot of people who have come into Germany who I don’t think would necessary well no so that’s I mean I’m not say Obviously you can write a lie but it’s it’s an interesting move I thought I mean yeah I mean if you look

At maps of the Middle East in certain Arab Nations Israel isn’t there you know so I mean it will be very interesting to see whether they can actually maintain that or whether that’s even a freedom of belief issue I don’t know what do you think they Le well I think the problem

Was or whatever the difficulty was is that Germany was one of the first countries to let in large groups of immigrants into the country from in the 1950s and 60s which um which maybe they’re regretting that they’ve let so many people multiculturalism doesn’t work Melting Pot does work immigrants

Work but having separate Nations living side by side you know not even side by side in different communities I think is a prelude for disas it’s not the Nations is it it’s just you got to have some things you got to be on the same page on

Right but the the nation can only be sustained with shared values really and and if you don’t have share if you don’t have shared values you have one giant team Europe team World blob there we go got there in the end a mail on Sunday next and uh it seems women can do

Anything men can do but better that’s right uh fans Lord superb Rebecca Welsh after she made history as the Premier League’s first female referee in burnley’s two win over Fulham at Craven Cottage with home supporters claiming she’s the best official they’ve had this season but is it hard to be a referee oh

That was my question Andre I mean she didn’t actually score the goals did she um well she didn’t I mean isn’t it just playing parent I no I don’t know anything about sport but it says so this is a tweet from a fan this is how she

Was praised it says Rebecca Welsh was superb today WR one fan on X formerly Twitter let the game Flow and allowed a real competitive game of football so they’re praising her for not interfering and blowing the whistle I guess but later somebody says uh that the reason she was good was because nothing

Controversial happened well you know to be fair I wouldn’t be able to run around a pitch for full 90 minutes without getting out of breath and collapsing and probably having to be hospitalized so I I I think on a level of Fitness she should be congratulated uh if not

Nothing else Louis do referees I mean do they get enough credit for what they so they they have to make some hard decisions sometimes when it comes to those red cards and yellow cards and yeah no it’s equally hard to be a referee as it is to be a uh to play the

Game is it it is of course it is all excellent is equal all Excellence is equally difficult I’ve never so sure about that I feel like it’s a bit like with conductors with the orchestra like how how much are they really doing I I just I mean I’m just saying they’re not

Playing the instruments they’re just sort of you know they’re like a metronome a human metronome that’s exactly my thoughts you that’s probably really ignorant of me well it’s my ignorance I just don’t know um yeah well done that’s a great thing about the show we Revel in our ignorance we don’t worry

About she’s reving it I know it’s difficult thing she’s done a good job the problem isn’t that she can do it women can do most things but do we want women to do things it’s something else I would have thought we do don’t we in the modern world world think women should do

Things because men are so IL equipped to do yeah so you’re worri about women taking men’s jobs yes they are because they can do it yeah it’s like it’s like women can have children women can be maternal women can be loving men aren’t that good at that stuff so maybe the men

In your life leis Let’s uh move on from this dark tunnel of Despair and we’re going to stick with the mail of Sunday now and the Italians want us to stop calling all Spark Ling wine prco uh some people just call it champagne for poor people don’t they yeah well uh stop

Calling at prco Italians worn British drinkers not to use the name for any old sparkling wine the truth is this is a 100 over a hundred year old story because yes it is 100 years ago there was a conference that delineated the boundaries of these domains where they

Said only the French can call it champagne anything that’s made in this country cannot be called champagne yeah but champagne is a issue with prco it’s slightly different because I believe it’s prco grapes and that’s why so anything can be prco if it’s made from Champagne grape isn’t there a domain OC whatever

Consum something like what I want to know is can you put white wine in the soda stream and is it the same I would say that’s incredibly vulgar so I wouldn’t do that yeah are you up to the box wine I think things what’s wrong

With a soda stream and a box of wine that’s what’s wrong with a box of wine of an evening by yourself oh my God the loneliness I all the men out there send in send in send in box of all just the ones with the soda stream thank you very

Much yeah okay let’s move on now to the Sunday Express next uh and have the archaeologist found the lost city of Atlantis creser archaeologists find underwater Island previously home to hundreds of thousands of people so apparently this land somewhere near Australia is 1.6 times the size of the

UK and it could have supported between 50,000 and 500,000 people is this the express making a comment about like the number of people we can cope with in the UK oh you think they’re just get they’re getting at immigration even when they’re not talking about immigration but think

My understanding is that they think that this was geologist think this was like a bridge between Australia and Africa maybe possibly it’s before everything fell apart yes before the T politics so so the thing about because this article does not mention Atlantis at any point

So but my first thought was as well this is Atlantis right but Atlantis can’t be near Australia I mean they can’t that’s not right is it because it’s more well I think Atlantis is more civil civilized them so Clos to Greece or something something like that one of yes what do

You think leis I think it’s uh that about 12,000 years ago that Saturn or Jupiter one of those two planets they dumped a whole lot of water on Earth and that’s where the water came from and it filled up the thing there’s water all around so what you’re saying there was

No water on Earth before uh Saturn vomited it into our orbit not as much as there is now all the Seas were were basically this been peer reviewed Le it’s been peerreview this is one of those sorry for saying it velikovsky it’s one of those vov vovi and and what

Yeah and what happened where did the water come from why is the water uniform have have uniform salinity what there are lots of questions about it and the one theory is I’m not saying this is true I don’t know if it’s true I’ve done no research myself but that that the

Earth the earth was was basically in the Saturn and Saturn dumped all the so much water I love leis about this I I haven’t done any research but this is what I think why slow yourself down why yeah the research it does slow you down right finally in this section the Sunday

Telegraph and it turns out that in the Bible it is Adam and Steve uh it might as well be because priest replaces Joseph for same sex nativity scene and so there’s no Joseph oh no it’s actually a lesbian couple then a lesbian couple Mary and Mary and Martha which sounds outrageous it’s

Basically saying what the the church is doing now that’s your church which the pope is saying that it’s okay for people to sanctify no that’s different I mean Pope Francis is talking about attitudes towards gay couples in the modern world he’s not talking about revising history and saying that Mary had a lesbian

Partner but this is I see Joseph Joseph was male but Joseph wasn’t the father was Joseph the Father Joseph was The Stepfather I suppose it was Immaculate Conception Louis and Joseph Joseph was The Stepfather which is history which That’s History That’s History who believes who believes that no one

Believes that but quite a number of people actually do believe that uh Louis how to break it to you totally nothing personal I love Catholics I love you I love Christianity they’re the Jews friend but it’s totally ridiculous well um C do you want to defend Christianity

Here do I want to defend Christianity or do you want to defend the same sex Nativity I think it’s a bit patronizing it’s like when they did that lesbian kiss on one of the Soaps was Brook side or something it’s like he he says I wanted to show this scene that families

Are no longer just a we know we know that but Joseph as the name implies was a man yes he was so you know let’s just let’s just stick with that okay that’s part three done and dusted after the break we’ve got a very special GB news

Let’s be honest we’ve known about the cost pressures of this project for years not months that’s the Camila tomin show a politics show with personality on GB news the people’s Channel Britain’s News Channel I think the most exciting bit for me is talking to people people who I

Think are ignored Often by the major news channels we’re going to give news they want to hear there’s a voice there that needs to be heard I think there’s a chance here for a diversity of opinion to be expressed which you don’t find elsewhere it’s really exciting we don’t

Hold back we’re free to say how decisions that are taken here affect us all around the country only on GB news the people’s Channel Britain’s News Channel good after afternoon Britain good afternoon Britain join us Tom and Emily to find out what’s happening in the heart of Westminster and why it

Till 9 on GB news big stories big guests and big laughs as we get you ready for a cracking weekend that’s Friday Night Live with Mark Dolan Friday at 8 till 9 on GB news bring your own drinks the emissions free big news news big debates big opinion Patrick Christi tonight is the

Week’s biggest Che every weekday 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. we’ve got the inside track on the day’s top stories there’ll be sharp takes you won’t get anywhere else we will set the news agenda not just follow it and I want to bring you along for the ride whatever it is we’ll have our

Finger on the pulse it’s news but it’s this close to entertainment Patrick Christy tonight 9: till 11:00 p.m. only on GB news the people’s Channel Britain’s News Channel Welcome back to Headliners your first look at Sunday’s newspapers we’re going to jump right back in with the Observer and this is a story about a woman from Alabama but not an ordinary woman cresa absolutely not Alabama Alabama woman with two uteruses with what with two two

Uteruses birth twice in two days I mean I think what odds of that happening first they are in here well first of all that’s having the condition in the first place and then having a successful double pregnancy is super duper rare so in other words the fact that she’s got

The two uteruses is already a sort of medical Marvel miracle and then being pregnant in both uteruses at the same time is practically impossible have two healthy baby girls so are the girls twins yes well it says they are but I thought that does that count no I don’t

Think they can be twins cuz I think you have to share a uterus you have to split well that’s identical twins but like nonidentical twins share a uterus as well what’s bothering me I’m not I’m thrilled that we’ve got medical Miracles and doctors thank you um but I wouldn’t

Want to be one and this is just so G so she had a baby and then the next day she had another one I mean does health I think labor I I don’t envy the procedure I think from what I hear it’s quite unpleasant and you know you even you

Must acknowledge that Louis you who don’t like grudgingly admit because I know you don’t like admitting that women ever have a hard time but I think they do well not compared to a man uh but a man doesn’t have to give birth Le I mean

I I do appreciate this woman cuz I have a two-pronged penis um I think that’s absolutely offc rules uh I I I think let’s not entertain that image I I mean it’s it’s stuck in my head now Louis not in that okay let’s move on to the Sunday

Express uh a lovely story about one of our biggest fans from AC acoss the pond oh American flies 4,000 miles 4,000 plus miles just to just to egg our officers at GB news officers is an American and he posted a video him bringing an egg over from America yeah so sound he says

On the video he’s upset with that oh I’ve just heard there’s a British Fox News that’s wrong this is not Fox News it’s completely different uh it’s not run by uh Murdoch there is another channel that is run by Murdoch in the UK but we won’t mention that um and and

Then he flies and the seen in the video do we have a clip of the video by the way be quite interesting to see well there’s the so his egg that’s him flying over with the egg and then eventually when he gets over to the GB News

Headquarters he throws the egg at the revolving door and you can see the uh egg spattering it’s a big effort to uh protest against something that you don’t really know about and you don’t know what it they called it the fox the Fox News and what’s what’s sickening is it’s

A white egg um which basically we have we’ve we’ marttin brought in the brown eggs this is the British brown eggs right okay and it’s like he brought the egg from like we don’t have any eggs in this country it’s like after World why have you brought these eggs into the

Studio because because I’m GNA oh my God no no you should what are you going to do with that you’re going to drink the egg oh my Louis you think you’re like a a bodybuilder or something that’s what they do isn’t it yeah or isn’t it a cure

For hangovers could be there too cuz it’s the protein but the truth is you just drank placenta two examples of people using eggs just for attention it’s ter I mean because because I promote eating eggs they’re not to be thrown at buildings and this guy he he shouldn’t be allowed back into the

Country you think he should be deported he should to be deported he should be on you can’t come over to another country and throw and basically desecrate a office building of somebody El I don’t feel desecrated no I don’t feel desecrated I think was probably a weird elaborate joke or performance art anyway

We’re going on to the Sunday Telegraph now it turns out that John mlan would have actually died and hard yeah most things most things would have killed him the grizzly scene behind science behind die hard so I’ve never seen die hard it’s a violent Boys film you’ve never

Seen Die Hard no it sounds horrible Die Hard is now 35 just a couple of years older than Bruce Willis was when he made it as we all know it holds up like Gang Busters I’ve never seen that either um anyway it turns out that uh so all the stunts basically it’s a

Very action Laden film talking about snapping necks and all these horrible yes he snaps necks he doesn’t get his neck sna no but there’s a lot of stuff in the film where he’s thrown all over but you know not like I don’t know if you’ve seen John Wick four which is a

Preposterous film the stuff he gets hit by cars and lorries and thrown off buildings and you think he’d be dead like like if you just punched him once he’d probably be dead I mean he’s ridiculous but I think when it comes to Die Hard you just have to suspend your disbelief don’t you

Uh no because I think it’s a very accurate portrayal of the American psyche and what makes what makes an American hero he is John whatever the guy John mlan Bruce Willis he’s on his way home and he has got to to be the hero he doesn’t want to be the hero

Because it’s Christmas but he goes into that building and he saves America and that’s what makes American hero so good they’re not looking for when when Americans out in the world we don’t want to save the world but we have to leis I sense a monologue coming up so I’m going

To cut you off right there because the show is nearly over uh so let’s take another quick look at Sunday’s front pages before we go the mail on Sunday is running with Eco activist King’s green Christmas Day message Sunday Telegraph has uh David Cameron mign Iran is a

Threat to the world and the Sunday Times is leading with NHS chairman doctor strikes make me fear for patients and the Observer assisted dying former Health Chiefs joined calls for new law the Sunday Express is leading with a chancellor of Britain says don’t let scrooges drag you down be positive about

The economy apparently and finally The Daily Star Mommy Mia Mrs Browns boys is apparently helpful to autistic children that’s all we’ve got time for thank you to my guests uh cresa and Lewis we are back tomorrow at 11:00 uh it’s a Christmas Eve special Josh Harry will be

Joining me and Louis for a recap of the biggest stories of the year and if you’re watching the 5m repeat stay tuned for breakfast looks like things are heating up boxed boilers sponsors of weather on GB news good evening welcome to your latest GB news weather I’m Ellie Glazer looking

Towards Christmas and it’s looking like it’s staying cloudy and damp for most of us with temperatures generally above average for the time of year low pressure continues to sit out towards the northwest slowly bringing frontal systems across the UK through the rest of the weekend and in towards the

Christmas period heavy rain that’s been across parts of Western Scotland gradually starts to ease but turns heavier across western parts of Wales we could see up to 80 millimeters here and generally quite a cloudy picture for much of England and Wales some clearer spells further north but blustery

Showers pushing in from the west and feeling a little bit chillier here however it’ll be much milder further south with perhaps 11 or 12° so a very mild cloudy and damp start for much of England and Wales on Christmas Eve rain continues to spread its way eastwards as

We head in towards the afternoon some sunshine across parts of Northern Ireland Northern England and Scotland but plenty of blustery showers around and some very strong winds across North Northeast England perhaps up to 70 M hour temperatures still above average across the board perhaps 13 or 14° to start on Christmas day another

Wet and cloudy picture for much of England and Wales Heavy Rain spreads in from the West slowly clearing it way eastwards as we go through the day further north there will be some brighter spells but another band of rain pushes its way northwards into parts of Scotland perhaps bringing some snow to

Some High Ground looking drier and brighter on boxing day but further wet and windy weather on the way a brighter Outlook with box solar sponsors of weather on G

    1. Lewis Schaffer 💯spot on tonight!at least in part one and two 😂Also Cressida is an absolute darling 😍she’s so gorgeous I’m so sad she has tangle with you lot on headliners!I love it never miss it and it’s no wonder you guys are smashing it 🇬🇧💪

    2. Why do they bully

Lewis Schaffer all the time it's almost like they dont want him involved but someone above them does, for me he is the funniest one on Headliners but the hosts just contantly dig him out, like crap hecklers he is smart and it goes over thier head.

    3. Fantastic episode. All 3 on tip top form – especially Lewis and his 2 pronged penis! It's become essential viewing for me, Headliners, the best kept secret on television. I get the feeling 2024 is going to be a good year for the show and it'll steadily see its popularity increase.

    4. So sad, that this really entertaining show, has the no introspective nutter that is LS. Cress is brilliant, Andrew is class… then there is the self obsessed nutter -such a shame

    5. I'm sorry but I have to give this a 👎
Every time Andrew is on any show with Lewis he constantly puts him down and stops him from talking, but in this show he went way way too far; having an argument about Lewis' working hours, having no sympathy for him when he's going to struggle to get to work because the trains won't be running, Andrew telling him (in a very arrogant, smug, condescending way) that he has to work because he has put him in the rota – all on live TV is despicable.
Andrew I hope you are proud of yourself, because you have shown exactly the kind of nasty person you are.
      Lewis should have walked out.

    6. One day soon youre all going to have to acknowledge that Lewis' Team-world scenario is 100% correct. You think everything thats happening today wasnt manufactured? Dream on. I hope you are made to apologise to Lewis in the most grovelling fashion live on air. This goes out specifically to Andrew + Josh.
