What’s next? What are your goals in the future? I don’t know. Performance isn’t about what the rider does. It’s about what the team does. So if someone gets a podium on the weekend, It’s not… that’s the whole team effort. One World Cup podium is not enough for me, for the whole career.

So I’m here to do better and I’m also here to be on the podium for myself and for the team and everybody. I want to be there. So yeah, for sure, for the next season and also in the future, I’m motivated to take another step. To pick up the contract with Lapierre

And have that support for next season locked in, It takes a huge weight off the shoulders and I can just focus on training and racing when I go home so that next year can be even better. It’s a good result when you do a top fifteen.

It’s a super good result when you do a top ten and when you have the perfect day, it’s maybe a podium. I can be a top ten rider in the World Cup when I’m good and I want to get back there. It’s a bit unreal that it’s the last race of the season.

You know, when you start looking at the calendar before the season start, it looks like woah, so many races, real long. But finally, time flies and now we’re here and it’s the last World Cup. It’s really crazy. To be honest, I feel a little bit tired.

It’s been a long season for me with lots of ups and also lots of downs with some shitty sicknesses which took a long time of the year to get rid of them. But yeah, I’m still happy so far with the results I got this season and four more races to give it all

And suffer as much as I can, to get the best result. I’m super happy about a podium on a World Cup, fifth place. And today everything went perfect together the bike worked well, everything worked well. And I’m super happy to finish the year on a high.

Thanks to the team for believing in me. Relieved and happy, super happy. Yeah, I’ve really enjoyed joining the team this second half of the season and I think it’s really brought my energy up to. It’s got a lot more energy in the race weeks and even though it’s been a long season,

The motivation is much higher than it was last year. I love bike racing, I love riding my bike, I love bike racing and that is me being able to push myself. But then there is the other side, which is: I want my best to be the best it can be.

And hopefully I believe that’s like one of the best in the world. I think one of the really cool parts of this sport is that you can always improve. And me as a person, I’m always looking for small improvements, “What can I do here and there?”

So like every winter we try to like, look what happened last season, what can we improve. So for sure I’m going to change some stuff up. But I also know what works for me. And you got to believe in the process.

You got to believe in yourself and do it and be a bit more lucky.
