Fun fact: General speed limits (100 km/h outside townships and 50 km/h inside townships) don’t apply to cyclists in Germany, as you’re not driving a motorised vehicle. Specified speeds limits through signs *do* apply, however, as does the general principle of “sight distance speed”.
