FASTEST BULLET TRAIN in the NETHERLANDS (Amsterdam to Rotterdam) πŸ‡³πŸ‡±

Good morning everybody we just left the hotelΒ  and are going on a Netherlands bullet trainΒ Β  from Amsterdam to rotterdam today this is a EverlastingΒ  Quest that we have to see if bullet trains go asΒ Β  fast as a bullet we’ve been on two so far neitherΒ  of them have maybe the Netherlands has whatΒ Β

It takes let’s go beautiful Netherlands in theΒ  morning feel like we should get some food thoughΒ Β  no yeah oh sorry got to watch those Dutch bikersΒ  there we go opening from the de opening from the [Music] could we have two more falafel wrapΒ  he knows us we’ve been here twice in the past

Week yes two falafel thank you thank you veryΒ  much Cheers Cheers it’s Kebab it’sΒ Β  cheap it’s so good it has vegetables full of falafel they’re everywhere we literally eat otherΒ  than food tour days this every day pretty much than you yeah amazing thank you so

Much to get to the Amsterdam Central Station weΒ Β  have to ride the Metro soΒ  now we’re just waiting for it all right it’s stopped over there doΒ  you want to get the camera oh we got toΒ go metro metro train check outΒ  these awesome murals too straight inΒ Β

The train station now we have toΒ  go to the ticket service office to printΒ Β  our tickets we have about 20 minutesΒ  until are train so we should be okay I hope will we get through this line before updateΒ  why thinks you found an alternative way to getΒ Β

Our tickets printed it’s all in Dutch so I haveΒ  to use Google Translate like but it leaves in 10Β Β  minutes so I’m trying to hurriedly thereΒ  we go is it working yep what’s printing did IΒ Β

Click it too many times uh I might have clickedΒ  it like five times uh oh Amsterdam central 24 years old Wyatt Brugge okay we’re good let’s goΒ  and in case we lose our copies we have three more okay 12 11 Thalys it’s goingΒ  to Brussels but it’s stopping inΒ Β

Rotterdam so let’s go which which platform was it 15a 15a classic what’s new we’re running we’reΒ  fine I love bullet trains shape they’re alwaysΒ Β  like triangular for the aerodynamics howΒ  sick is that we made it to coach on timeΒ Β  killing it we are I love bullet trainsΒ  because unlike airports you don’t haveΒ Β

To go through security you just go straightΒ  on and it’s awesome really fast comfortableΒ Β  it’s going to be a great time Thalys that’sΒ  the uh fastest trade in the Netherlands I’m pretty sure honestly I really didn’t think we were goingΒ  to make it really yes but we did yeah

This train is great it has USB ports for your phone they alsoΒ  have like Outlets if you don’t have like a USBΒ Β  cord and they have trays a lot of leg room a lotΒ  of storage space a trash can which looks prettyΒ Β

Gross just saying it’s like full of brown driedΒ  liquid oh here we go we’re rolling here we go it’s got a little coat holderΒ  too they also have super cool cup holders time to do a bathroom tour all rightΒ  so just like every bathroom there’s a toiletΒ Β

Sink trash can they have two mirrors a coatΒ  rack a light they also have a awesome flusherΒ Β  that looks like a spaceship flusher if IΒ  ever saw one I feel like it would look likeΒ that there’s a fan the sink is automaticΒ  and it definitely seems like the soap isΒ Β

More of a pusher type soap definitelyΒ  enjoying it and it’s also clean very clean how was the bathroom really nice since weΒ  were in Amsterdam which is a city for the lastΒ Β  3 days it’s nice to change it up and see kind ofΒ  like a Netherlands Countryside feel haven’t seenΒ Β

That before yet they say like even a tiny hillΒ here you can see basically the whole country I just looked it up bulletsΒ  travel at 1,800 mph we’re 83 we’llΒ Β  see we’ll see okay so the GPS totallyΒ  stopped working but we looked it upΒ Β

And the Thalys train maxes out IΒ  don’t know if you can see it at 186 Miles an hour made it well that was quick yeah literallyΒ  so fast it felt like only like 10 minutes yeahΒ Β

It was like I think a total of 60 or 57 mil andΒ  it took us 40 minutes with a stop of like 7 10Β Β  minutes bye awesome looking Dutch bullet train byeΒ  shall we find our hotel yeah I really love escalators

Hello so we’re staying in a capsuleΒ  hotel for The Grand Tour here we areΒ Β  lights there under lights which I love theseΒ  accent lights have extra blue lighting wowΒ Β  this is like a wonderful bed it’s likeΒ  a spaceship in here yeah feel like we’re oneΒ Β

Small step How does it go one small stepΒ  for man one giant leap for mankind yeah exactly I don’t know if you guys reallyΒ  understood when I said that we eat falafel for likeΒ Β  every meal we seriously eat falafel for everyΒ  meal we are not kidding now we’re going to walkΒ Β

To the most famous landmark in rdale while we eatΒ  some kebab let’s do it mhm it is interesting I feelΒ Β  like if Amsterdam were an equivalent New YorkΒ  this would be Chicago super modern lots of SkyΒ Β  Rises Modern Art and stuff we stumbled upon theΒ  markthal which is a pretty famous spot

Here these are sweet okay so these are theΒ  Rotterdam Cube houses they are like theΒ Β  biggest landmark here in Rotterdam and they’reΒ  all built on 45Β° tilt so it’s like a die that’sΒ Β  spinning you know and it’s just stopped thereΒ frozen um they only custom furniture built cuzΒ Β

The angles are all super weird like you don’tΒ  have straight up and down walls you know howΒ Β  do these like work I don’t get it is it like anΒ  optical illusion or something I really hope theΒ Β  camera does this justice cause the lines areΒ  honestly kind of weird even in person likeΒ Β

It’s hard to understand what’s going on yeahΒ  it’s very much like trippy yeah it’s like anΒ Β  illusion exactly like you said just look atΒ  those like creases and how they all have toΒ Β  meet there perfectly they did a they did itΒ  really well yeah architectural genius oh yepΒ Β

Another day just heading to work we live here weΒ  live here all righty y’all that’s it two kebabsΒ Β  one bullet train ride little bit of a RotterdamΒ  tour successful vlog I agree let us know whatΒ Β  you think if you like this sort of crazy funΒ  format yeah and subscribe for more

    1. Fun fact: Dutch is part of the Germanic language which has two sub-divisions (West and North). West Germanic consists of English, German, and Dutch and North Germanic consists of Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian.

    2. Standing on a small hill you'll see whole of the Netherlands, with 18 million small spics of people. That's what you call a view !πŸ˜…

    3. What do you think of this video? Any advice or ideas to make it better? πŸ€”πŸ₯°

We’re really trying to improve and would love to hear your feedback! ❀️

    4. This is actually a French train. It cannot go fast in the Netherlands as the special track has not been laid. Not worth it is such a small country….

    5. Fun fact, there is a hotel/hostel in the Rotterdam cube houses. This is also the cheapest place to sleep in Rotterdam. Standard price of 30 euros per night in a dorm room!

You might have missed it but Rotterdam is a city that was bombed to the ground in WW2, so almost every building you see is made after that with 2 exceptions, the two oldest football stadiums in the netherlands where spared. The oldest being from 1916!
