Motorcycle Adventure POLAND – Night Ride Through Warsaw City Centre!

Our EUROPEAN MOTORCYCLE ROAD TIRIP is nearly over so we start heading home riding the BMW R1250 GS Adventure through Poland, riding through some remote villages as well as cruising on the newly built highways of Poland.

First stop is Trakai Island Castle in Lithuania before we cross over into neighbouring Poland.

The ride gets exciting as we navigate the bustling streets of Warsaw City Centre on the R1250GSA motorcycle, weaving through the urban landscape and capturing the vibrant energy of this incredible city.

Welcome to trai Castle we spent this morning in lithuania’s capital vilnus and now we will be exploring the castle of trai yeah the ride out of the city this morning was a lot more calm than when we rode in last night and also this morning we passed through lots of

Picturesque Villages so I was really nice a good ride to get here so come on let’s go and have a quick look around the castle we’re not planning on spending too much time here today but uh if you go inside there’s a courtyard there’s a few more buildings and there’s

A museum to see but it’s 12 each to go in and as we’re not going to be around for much longer I don’t think it’s worth it for us no the most thing we want to see is the outside so let’s go ah and take a little walk along the lake and

See the circumference of the castle yeah even if you’re not planning to go in it is a really nice area around for an hour or two you can actually walks through the middle of the castle it seems that you know just above us there’s a little Bridge which connects the two halves of

The castle but I’m not sure if this had water running through it originally it seems like it would have done otherwise I don’t really see a point no in this part you can really see the different layers of restoration work on the brick as well

Here oh yeah I think this is the at least the original bit is in the middle so it said that the Russians worked on it the Germans like and then the Soviet Union worked on it again and then it was stopped um in the second world war and

Then in the 1960s it was completed by the Lithuanian government so it’s really has had everybody’s hand in every go it He Oh That was a good stop and I think that is our last stop here in Lithuania yeah that’s right then we’re going to head south now and continue our journey back home uh I think we’re just going to head straight to the border of Poland and then we’re going to reassess

There what we’re going to do cuz we’ve got a got a few days to get back so we just need to decide where we’re going to stay each night and yeah which route we’re going to take that sounds good hopefully we’ll pass through a few more uh Lithuanian

Villages along the way but this one is is so sweet on the island yeah definitely this is probably one of the better ones isn’t it so don’t miss this little village and the castle as well so you can take off a few things all at once it’s actually quite good that it’s

So close to the capital as well so if people are flying in to visit the capital they can probably get here without any difficulties either we’re currently heading west before we drop down and head south but we’ve just gone through some national parks and I think we’ve got some more to

The dotted lakes next to the trees are always something that are beautiful to ride near and The Villages are a great addition as well they’ve got a lot of character it’s nice because we kind of thought this would be a Motorway um to head down in towards Poland so it’s

Town or city we’re riding through we’re heading to Warsaw tonight is where we decided to stay and we’re roughly about an hour’s ride from the city center it looks like the highway or the motorway is being completely redone in SE cuz we’ve like been on the motorway and

Then we’ve had to come off and go back on and once again we’re off the motorway now but it’s actually quite good to get off the boat away and to have a little look at some of these towns and things cuz I’ve never really ridden through

Turn around to go and look for somewhere to eat and we came to warsa about 4 years ago and we distinctly remember this one restaurant where we had breakfast it was freezing cold and this place was open and did a great breakfast and we’ve come back to the same place

Four years on it’s called Tel Aviv it’s like a Israeli Lebanese restaurant and it’s one of our favorites here so really glad it’s open and they’ve got seeds for us I think you can just spot them just in there we’re going to eat inside tonight so we don’t get stung by any

More mosquitoes but the restaurant hasn’t changed a bit since we were last here so really glad that it’s still here and it looks like our first dish has arrived starters have arrived and we went for the Mez platter so we could try a little bit of everything and I

Ordered one of their specialty cocktails which is not like me at all but this one is matcha with aqua fiber topping so it’s completely vegan normally they use an egg white for the top but they use as a good way to celebrate as we come towards the end of our trip so Cheers

We’re having a relaxing morning here and we’ve headed straight to breakfast and found this Cafe yeah in an apple name Cafe cuz it’s called the relax Cafe it is yeah that is good for us I think we needed a slow morning we’ve been pretty fast pace for the past four weeks so

Another trip to Warsaw is definitely in order yeah I think you could spend quite a few days here in wara cu the city is so big yeah that says a lot cuz we’re normally like in and out with we’ve done like you don’t need more than a weekend

But I actually do think you need more than one or two days here there’s a lot to explore yeah we’ve only got another half an hour here but um I’m glad we made it out to the Oldtown just to remind ourselves about how nice this is

Is but now let’s get back on the road and head south and continue our journey home we have to check out in about an hour so we need to make our way across the city which is going to take more time than I actually thought well yeah get checked out get the bike

Loaded up and then decide where we’re going to go next so we’re just going to have last 5 or 10 minutes strolling through old town before we head back
