With only a couple of us fishing down there and being deadly quite almost void of cars and people it was a cracking evening….peace and quite for this session
From the off there was fish I love it when it’s like that I think only 3 casts through the eve/night I wound in with nowt on…..
I have to say I’m really loving the new Startright rig bodies from Trident….and apparently there are going to be some new products in 2024…..bring it on
It’s very strange how one weekend you catch some very nice Dogfish then the following weekend you catch Puppy Dogs…..oh well I’m catching thats the main thing….

Well welcome back to Doos fishing adventures and it’s Christmas Eve Town King just for a few hours got plenty of bait plenty of worm I’m intending hopefully to do chz boxing day um that’s the only decent forecast this week to be fair that’s coming up
So I did think about the boat the boat is in the water to be fair if I do change my mind but I don’t know why just I just fancy chz so hopefully uh Tuesday I’ll do chz but for the time being here I am doing Town Key let’s hope we can have
Another good session like I did uh I try and keep out the wind so you can hear me uh try and have a good session like I did last Sunday during the day uh I think I’ve already had a bike on one of the rods with the two H Loop so fingers
Crossed uh some little materialize out of that but uh no it’s been a good week finally here I can’t believe it where the hell is this year gone absolutely unbelievable gone so quick must be doing something right then cuz if it goes quick you’ve been busy so Happy
Days um what was I going to say is uh yeah so I haven’t done that trident review yet but I have to say I’ve got a few more rigs off them uh for the start right rig bodies and at the moment I’m so impressed with them it’s unreal they
Really are something else but I will do quite an in-depth uh review on them start right Trident rig bodies so uh the baits tonight I’ve got well I’ve only got Rag and I’ve got squid I haven’t taken any mackerel uh so all I’m doing is literally a tiny tiny squid and
Uh just going to do a wrap a worm around it that would do I’m happy with that so it’s very similar to a black black L and Squid wrap so fingers crossed but let’s see what happens so uh yeah there’s a couple of rattles going on this one so fingers crossed I
Could have something on the First cast but we’ll see still got about another 15 minutes yet for it to check so bring it on right let’s get cozy and uh wait for the first bik check Happy Days well you’re actually seeing my face that’s a rarity is’t it uh yeah so
Double shot up out first carass can’t be bad on the old two H Loop and here comes the the dreaded fairy I wonder if he’s going to cut in and be a dick but we’ll see um yeah and that’s on the two hook Loop and that’s on the Trident start right
Rig body I have to say they are absolutely Sublime very impressed I’ve ordered some more this week and a few more have come through of uh the different ones uh so as I say next week or whenever I will certainly do a review on them uh it’s going to be good I reckon
They are absolutely Sublime so they’re only rig bodies they’re not actual uh not actual got no snoods on or nothing so you can do ex do whatever you like on them really so happy days no that fair is quite close can you see it there that’s all right uh so yeah bring
It on so two pound First cast on the old uh two H loop with rag so I’m pleased with that I’m going to leave the squid Rod or the rod with uh squid bait on ragworm wrap I’ll leave that for a bit longer cuz I knowed Sunday I could have left them uh
Probably a good hour and I weren’t really getting anything on the on the fish baits it was all on the worm he is quite close going to get a ratchet screamer who knows but yeah so that’s what I’m going to do leave that one a tad longer probably 45 minute check um
As I say if you’re going to get something something’s going to happen is it so I would do it like that but yeah happy day Bring It On happy Christmas to you all right let’s do the first bik check let’s see what happens you’ll have to excuse the wind is very

We no it don’t feel like anything to Fair again we got we got some in there just a small P I reckon oh know doggy oh doggy and a doggy and a Pal little tiny tiny little dog fish Happy Days another half reasonable pal on the old uh Trident start rides and obviously the the hooks are sukuma Pros size twos Happy Days So just a little bit of heavy drizzle so I thought I’ll quickly CH check the uh uh the squid Rod uh with a squid and uh rag wrap and uh there we go little Whiting so I didn’t film it cuz it was quite a heavy drizzle but I thought I’d
Just get a quick uh quick little uh film of that so happy days so what’s that it’s free fre P one dog and a wh so far not bad in forecast Happy Days right just going to go for another bait check come around sort of 20 minutes 30 minute checks
That wind’s Relentless tonight right in the face it is what it is but great to be fishing regardless too bad so far let’s see if we can add to right bring it all do the worm Rod First come on get out I’m really glad I uh brought these uh the M4 GTS back from the island I love me M4 High Flex M but these do a do help in sort of like uh almost like shitty conditions comes a bit of drizzle again that ain’t helping matters Um bit white on here I think live coming on Here let’s have a look what we got here we go doggy and another pal there we Go Happy Days that’s fishing reasonably well tonight shame the doggies are very small but I’m pleased with this long as it can in that’s all that matters keeps your interest up every fishing trips a learning curve oh nearly it but that there dobs that’s better so yeah so these uh oh it’s get
That off me head I can’t really see that for these are trient start rides rig bodies are so nice very sub bline beautiful right let’s get these un hooked and uh let’s get it back out there so what’s that that’s uh four pal two dogs and one whing Happy Days
All right’s uh get the fish rod in up to that dog dog p on the other Rod let’s see what’s in there probably nothing although I had that whing on there earlier it’s had a good soak sure Sometimes I think have I picked up me other line but don’t think so a bit I might have something on the other L winding in what’s on here no don’t think so must have something on it doggy quite heavy whatever it is there’s the leader feel that coming up through the Rings
What we got and another doggy Happy Days there we go that’s on the that’s on this start right up and over rig body with uh they’re not suuma Manor extras they’re just the sukuma so I’ve uh started to try the lighter akumas now and that’s on the old squid squid and ragworm
Wrap there we go that’s the third doggy of the evening Happy Days let’s get it back let’s get it back out there come on your bugger all three doggies are all very small tonight but who cares a fish is a fish right here it Goes big no Oh dear all right see if we can add see what happens oh that drizzle is a nightmare absolute bloody nightmare lady what we got the one Bo that’s good another wh in Happy Days bit of a tangle right let’s try the fish bait Rod see what’s happening on this one it’s
Had a good soak nothing that one B winding in slowly there’s nothing on there I can tell on the strike no messing around get it in ASAP get it back Out got a couple other guys fish down here now so that’s good bit company there’s a leader hit over to the side that I like it no nothing on that One bloody Co nent right just using small squid they’re not party squid well I suppose technically they are kind of party squid didn’t want to use big baits cuz that bit of Breeze that’s a bit of wind that’s there so just using small squid nice compact bait up and over keep it
Neat I say these are suuma mans they’re not the extras so just a little bit finer and what I do let’s get one worm get the head a little bit further up about there bake on there it is get it that side of the hook first so ain’t going to blast back
Up get that bit round around there happy days here we go just uh keep it as compact as I can especially with that bit of wind want it as streamlined as possible really and make sure you go up over the other hook the panel here we go nice little compact
Compact rig uh bait there sorry for the just give you that little bit of extra few yards in that wind Happy Days right dare I say let’s get it back out There bik going on that one All right let’s have a look For I don’t feel like anything on this one going a little bit slower now a bit of Tide run now there might be something here it was uh bouncing away earlier but yeah might be Something yeah definitely something on it bit wey there’s the leader what we got what have we got another doggy a better doggy this one that’s it number four Happy Days bit bigger than the other two there we go little doggy on the old Trident to a gloop Happy
Days Ain turning out to be a bad evening so what’s that four dogs H out two white happy day right try the fish Rod very strange very strange how this one just isn’t picking up even the dogs but perhaps I should have brought a M very strange but there you go it is what it is there another bait in the water that’s all that matters definitely nothing on here this time yeah quite a good evening so far can’t complain very enjoyable there’s the leader nothing oh well get it back out Then right let’s go for another bait check see what’s happening have check on the Way some white on there if I can get out of get up and over that Bang No don’t feel like anything on there it’s just where it’s just buried into that soft silness out there you always think ah here we go but sometimes it can be a bit false especially when you are getting in that channel n don’t feel like anything this time I don’t think there’s any weight
There at all this could be me first cast on on a worm Rod without a fish that’s a leader nope nothing stripped but Nothing let’s have a look I still got plenty of Worms I’ll see how it goes I might call this me last car I don’t Know I’ve got a few hours in the morning but work not it matters what time I get in tomorrow but um few bits and pieces to do that’ll do for the top right let’s have a look at the bottom rig Yeah so Tuesday boxing day I don’t know what to do as I said I’ve got the boat in the water the weather don’t look too bad it can all change admittedly but don’t know why I’ve got the to go to chz if that wind will just says what it what they keep saying
It’s going to do is keep it light but supposed to get light as the lighter WIS as the day progress is Tuesday but you never know might just come windy po stop but Wednesday is looking a horrendous day so see we in the being no no for so there we go so that is the trient start Right two hook Li uh two hook Loop body I can’t praise it enough I just think absolutely incredible Rick uh bodies and it’s good to be fair they doing bodies they’ll probably might eventually do snoods as well for them but uh I’m happy just to stick me own
Snooze on any rig body to be fair but these are very Sublime and they’re great white rig body material superb seems to be very very abrasion resistant I might do the old test on the corner of a of the wall at home on the old brick work that’s a good test for
Any body so we’ll see right let’s get it back out there Happy Days well I think I’m going to pack uh pack the fish what Fish rod Away I didn’t feel Ominous I don’t think there’s anything there There the lader coming there Yeah a little pal just picking up he did just drop down a second ago there we go that’s 6 lb Now well another aable evening s ke don’t forget as always please make sure you pay what I generally do is just pay over the top a little bit trust me fine been there Tashir lovely little suuma man not the extras like I’ve been saying just been trying their final ones rather than the extras so not quite as big and bulky that’s what you pulling yourself when you get into that uh Channel a lot of that crap out there so to speak
Right let’s pack this one away and I’ll look at the other One Happy Days oh here we go last check of the evening or night now as it Is see if we can add something else no nothing on this one that’s bit of a shame still at least I had one on the out on the other Rod definitely nothing on here oh that wind’s getting up again so you probably won’t hear me let’s get this in not messing around
