From the hills above carpendale Colorado welcome to the gcn show welcome to the gcn show coming up this week we wrap up the year in cycling the highs and the lows plus give you our take on the hottest topics for 2024 we’ve got loads of festive Goodwill in

Cycling shorts news of a Cutting Edge technique that Japanese police are using to catch law breaking cyclists and heads up about the 30 and 30 challenge which is backed by popular demand for 2024 this year in the world of cycling we learned that the media landscape has changed so G7 plus disappeared from your phones your tablets your computers and from your TV screens as well yeah up there in 2020 for the CEST years no I just um although it did suck didn’t it

We also learned this year that the best gravel Riders are Ries with Noma and maharic coming out on top at the World Championships although in the world series of America Keegan Swenson and sfia Gomez vfan were the top dogs on the road we learned that a tiny handful of

Riders had a disproportionately big effect rogl patcha vineel vandero voling and capek we your standout Stars that’s right and out of we think well yeah the stats back it up don’t they yeah out of that lot wering had the best strike rate according to Dan’s maths she won

37% of all her race days ahead of keki who was on 35.9% and pagat had a 35.4% pretty good stri rates AR they all the more Bonkers when you think how much they race not just how much they won but it feels like the story of the year was

SE curs it and it’s Hollywood Welter win that was a good one was it now we also learned that GCM presenters seem completely unable to hydrate can’t find the Oasis had to stop under the shade and um um bit a bad way actually what a and also run uh it would seem weird

Isn’t it that this time last year we had an immobilized Lloyd and we got another immobilized Lloyd this year too I tell you what it be even weirder if next year it’s your ankles they give away would it and ironic yeah would yeah I live in Hope mate that they don’t just look

Sturdy but actually are as well now there seem to be four major themes this year that continually got us talking and also you watching at home as well they were the growing gravel racing scene and everything about it the cost of bikes and the state of the bike industry and

The extraordinary performances at the tour France oh and bike helmets as well bike helmets Yeah that will never go away so we’ll leave that for now so where do we think that these will go in 2024 well let’s first talk about gravel racing shall we did it come of age in

2023 I reckon the answer is probably yes don’t you it’s also probably aged both Connor and Manon in 2023 oh my goodness yeah I mean I really think it had um seriously though conditions aside the lifetime series in the US does continue to go from strength

To strength doesn’t it and it feels like it’s also starting to of converge with ever more Road Pros who was dipping their toes in the gravel scene meanwhile pure gravel specialist Keegan Swenson got within a whisker of a Podium at the European held and arguably Roadie friendly gravel World Championships and

Now the road Pros who won both the men’s and women’s world championships events are committing to go to the us and take on the American gravel scene maharic has already confirmed his intent to race Unbound next year and Cas new DOA well she’s already been successful hasn’t he over in the

Taking on the big sugar she annihilated everyone didn’t minut who it yeah you’ve also got asked a question haven’t you where is this where Grassroots participation is growing road races generally pretty complicated and costly to put on plus quite daunting to take part in and a lot of road sportives I

Think now a lot of people maybe feel like they could just go and do the ride not not sort of pay for it no yeah one of the things that I love about those gravel events and why I think in part they’re so successful is the fact that Elite Riders World

Champs World Tour Riders Etc compete in the same event over exactly the same course as the Weekend Warriors yeah and I think both the pros and normal people alike enjoy that coming together don’t they it feels a little bit like the explosion in Big City Center marathons

That happened decades ago and are still super popular now just a little bit dirtier well especially this year yeah well that’s it yeah uh are you or any of the other presenters side planning on any gravel events next year for example ex are you considering sending Connor

Back to Unbound with an extra water bottle maybe a larger camel back or something uh I think Connor would go back in a heartbeat to Unbound again I genuinely feel like he thinks he’s got I mean he does doesn’t he have unfinished business Unbound um I’m not entirely

Sure health and safety will let him back uh I actually have to say I quite fancy having a pop at the old people’s gravel World Champ basically racing up against Alejandra Val I’m pretty sure he’s older than me he’s in the next category just older than you site Alejandra B is older

Than me no yes that puts things in perspective doesn’t it it does I do think that he was on the podium this year he’s a bit of a legend isn’t he bit of a Legend um do you know what though I do think that gravel won’t replace Road as the popular

Discipline I think it’s kind of too hard which is not to say that I’m judging gravel or Road negatively here but like I love riding gravel but I can’t do it exclusively CU Anytime I get back on the road it just feels so fast so easy in

Comparison it’s such a great contrast I see where you’re coming from son I see where you’re coming from you know what I mean you just like gravel’s great and then you get on a road bike you’re like oh my goodness this is amazing I’m not as slow as I thought exactly yeah all

Right moving on what about next year’s tours the France last year’s races particularly on the men’s side saw performances pushing the boundaries of what everybody thought was possible well that’s it are the wats per kilo estimations dodgy which a lot of people say they are or are we really genuinely

Looking at the best performances of all time particularly from the big two big two yes but next year looks like we’re going to have at least four legitimate contenders for the Tour of France riding for four separate teams so it’s going to be fascinating to see how that one

Shapes up particularly with Pacha having already done the jro well I know like V you got will almost certainly starts favorite right but what RIT pagat aaple do they genuinely stand the chance hopefully I think I mean anything to knock Vima Lisa bik off their Purge after winning all three everyone’s going

To be snapping at their heel surely well yeah you’d think so wouldn’t you I think they might dominate for another year or or so two years maybe but a bit like Sky inios other people catch up and surpass at some point just don’t know when yeah

Anyway the Toral France fam a wift will be separated from the men’s completely this year rather than the one day overlap and that’s because at the placement of the Olympic Games who though could possibly surpass this his winner Demi Valery well no one can they really I don’t think but it’s another

Year and so who knows someone else will improve over the winter Ving might stumble yeah you never know I mean there’s always someone that comes along when you least expect absolutely yeah well a bit like yis Vine exactly just when we thought pagat was going to win

10 in a row Pat came along just when we thought Burnell was going to win 10 in a row indeed yeah there go ET Etc um now we might no longer be able to show you the races live but rest assured we will still be bringing you the best stories

From and around all the big races on GTM racing and of course the website Global cycling network.com which is full of Scoops when it comes to racing yeah it’s doing really well that website yeah it’s really cool yeah uh will W van actually be able to win a big race again in 2024

You Reon yeah Will Mark Cavendish take his 35th Tour stage win I said no on the gon racing news show which hasn’t even come out yet just pre-recorded it today uh which Roadie will win the Olympic Mountain bik race oh shots firing left center from you mate um and of course

Will anyone be able to topple SD Works tough tough well you never know as for the bike industry in 2024 that’s a bit harder to predict isn’t it cly been a tough year for the bike industry and as you can probably tell from some of the sales and price Cuts Plus bog offs

Buy one get one free with Kaa yes they’ve been pretty heavily marketed to Consumers brands are still working hard to clear their backlog of stock and revive customer demand in their new products yeah and it doesn’t feel like we’re totally out the woods yet not yet

Either does it um in fact I think we’ll see more Brands disappearing in 2024 w’t we as this situation begins to bite we’ll be waiting a little bit longer before they see some light at the end of the tunnel but on the flip side as consumers prices are definitely coming

Down aren’t they and I think they’ll continue to come down next year as well yeah difficult times like this they opportunity to shake things up aren’t they to innovate there are some exciting things happening already like new bike brands entering the world tour so you’ve got van v2r Envy with total energy hav

You who else is going to emerge what well exactly yeah I mean cuz I think we’ve had a bit of a consolidation of tech haven’t we the last couple of years there was a decade of ridiculously rapid Innovation too rapid perhaps what with disc brakes electronic Arrow everything

Plus gravel I think a lot of us feeling a little bit overwhelmed and so now while products get refined and improved by like a fraction of a percent here or there there is less incentive for people to buy new bikes and so you know I think

Maybe that’s quite a good time to pause for breath do you reckon there’ll be another gamechanging product in 2024 I’m not too sure about that one well I mean undoubtedly we’ll get some amazing new products in 2024 but yeah whether it will change the dial or not I don’t know

As supp depends how much it’s going to cost it be extortionate y will it top 475,000 which I think was the most expensive bike in 2023 so who knows uh lastly this is a really important one as well I’m going to get on my soap box in a

Minute I think we will continue to see friction on the roads but the forward momentum that we’ve got now like across the world actually I think it’s still going to be maintained okay so governments local authorities councils whatever everyone is wanting to push forward with that it the naysayers are minority but

They’re bloody loud aren’t they they make they’re a vocal minority so we as part of the silent majority need to make our flipping voices heard because people are listening and trying to do the right thing I think I think they are as well yes are you prepared to climb down from

Your soap box now well yeah I mean it means I don’t have to sit up straight anymore so yeah that’s all right we’d love to hear from you as ever what are your predictions for cycling in 2024 from the racing to the industry to everything else in between what do you

Think we’ll see and what would you like to see yeah also we struggled didn’t we to try and think what the biggest news stories of 2023 were so be quite interested to hear your thoughts on that yeah we probably missed some very obvious oh I hate to say if we’ve missed

Something massive we look in the comments like course how exactly yeah and so if we have missed something out apologies um but you know and now it’s time for cycling shorts cycling shorts now and we’re going to start with some good news stories of bikes being gifted at Christmas first up

We wanted to give a shout out to Alice Harris of the parents of Watts organization who’ll be giving bikes to 300 students from 10 schools in the area plus a whole host of other gifts including food and blankets as well yes but what makes this even more special is

That this is far from the first year that Al has been donating bikes and plenty of other things to local children she’s been doing it for the community for over 40 years at this point and continues to do it despite being very close to her 90th birthday she’ be

Celebrating that in a few days time oh well that’s amazing isn’t it meanwhile in Maui which was severely impacted by wildfires back in August you remember the Maui bicycling league collaborated with M noi well done thanks mate uh which is a Grassroots organization to provide 80 children with bikes

Uh in the local area yes whilst in South Florida the Rick Case Automotive Group are giving out bites to local children that for the F 41st year in a row and in Greenpoint New York a 100 bites were given to local kids through a partnership between Cooper Park houses

The National Grid and bike New York that is so cool isn’t it I mean there’s plenty more stories like that I could have really we could have thrown in yes there is nothing quite like getting a bike at Christmas is there um so that’s amaz that kids who might not be able to

Get one otherwise can get one um now unfortunately we are going to move things quickly on from the positive bike gifting stories now to tell you why it might soon cost you more to buy a bike in the United States it’s just what you want to hear on boxing day isn’t it so

This is what house Committee in Washington they basically recommended decreasing the $800 import threshold in an effort to reduce the number of cheap ebikes and they’re associated dangerous batteries uh those batteries have caused quite a large number of fires across the us this year however with so many bike

Parts manufactured in China not just ebikes and batteries the price Rises could trickle down to the types of bikes and components that you’d find in reputable local bike shops around the USA so not good news if that recommendation is probably not though um although why does it raise the prices of

The of bikes if they’re lowering the tax threshold so you get to bring in a certain amount without paying tax ta and if you lower that you pay tax from earlier sorry the import tax suck doesn’t it I mean that’s my basic understanding of it from reading the

Articles well I mean that’s a far greater understanding than I have from from that brief moment um anyway I’m sure an expert on tax could set you right in the long short of it if it goes through but it’s going to cost more money damn okay uh anyway a story from

Japan now uh police are struggling they’re struggling to distinguish between cyclist riding with noise cancelling earphones which are illegal and those using external sound capturing headphones which are legal yes it’s quite a funny story this one side uh basically these two types of headphones look exactly the same okay so Japanese

Police they’ve come up with an ingenious solution so they can tell the difference between the two so okay now I’m guessing it’ll be some kind of futuristic sophisticated X-Ray Scanner sort of that’s what I would have guessed as well but it’s not that okay what they do they shout

At so even if before they know if they’re breaking the law yeah well they they shout out can you hear me in Japanese and if the cyclist stops and answers yes they know they’re not breaking the law but if they carry on because they didn’t hear they know

They’re breaking the law that is absolutely genius I love it yeah right let’s pull things back around uh to some good news stories for Boxing Day More two North American cities are about to get a big boost in funding for cycling infrastructure always good news

We told you didn’t we just a minute ago we told you first up Philadelphia is getting $16.4 million in federal funding for its I might need a run up for this okay it’s complete and safer Streets Philadelphia Vision zero High Injury Network corridors project Cy name isn’t

It anyway the money is going to go towards areas that have been identified as particularly dangerous especially for scienic and pedestrians is some of it going to be sidetracked into coming up with a better name brand console a process like an expensive PR firm it’s Dreadful really isn’t it whil over in

Quebec city in Canada PR cold over there at the moment they have unveiled plans for a brand new bicycle Highway okay now this one is going to be known locally as the velocity goror and it’s going to connect the bar he’s so happy with what he just got

Forgot what’s coming next well I just say is Corridor a French word sounded it the way you said gor I don’t know I’m going to have to look that one up uh anyway it’s connecting is that Charlesburg do you think Charlesburg Charlesburg Char Charlesburg and the City Center the project is going

To start next year and is scheduled to be completed in 2020 so isn’t it annoying when bike infrastructure projects takes well any public infrastructure project takes so long yeah 2026 miles away at least they’re starting yet anyway well that’s it yeah I’m not complaining 2026 will be here

Before you know it well I know that’s one of the things about getting older you will still be younger than Alejandra b anyway we’ll finish cycling shorts with news that starting on January the 1st we will once again be doing 30 in 30 so we’re going to have a video out for

You about this on this coming Saturday to explain it in detail but just briefly here it’s about getting together to do 30 successive days of 30 minutes riding each day yeah and to be fair you actually you actually don’t need to ride 30 minutes of any exercise yeah so I

Mean God forbid you could go for a jog um as long as your ankle or your foot can stand up to it uh you could do pullup as long as your back can stand up to 30 minutes of pull-ups yeah basically um the nice thing is everyone gravitates

Back towards cycling cuz uh it typically doesn’t get you horrifically injured like like all the other sports seem to do um in fact you are considering doing 30 AR you maybe you considering doing 30 and 30 to sh can you imagine how much progress you’d make in 30 days no I I

Mean I I’m always fascinated by your FTP but I reckon at the end of 30 days of doing 30 minutes of Zone 2 you probably boosted it by like 50 Watts 60 watt well probably I imagine it is quite low at the moment need to do some testing to

Find out anyway for anyone else interested uh there are going to be two rides per day on the gcn club on zwift okay so around 10:30 a.m. UK time and 6:30 p.m. UK time uh you’ll be able to ride alongside GCM presenters every day maybe it mind me Dan maybe maybe it

Should be a great way either way to Kickstart your year in the healthiest way possible why I’m considering doing it side i’ basic I’ve been reading about how important Zone 2 exercise is not just for performance but for life life longevity and health as well and at my

Age the latter is more desirable than the former I don’t know mate I think performance is pretty important as well I mean look at Alejandro Val there you go um anyway I’m doing 30 pull-ups that’s like that’s why what 30 pull-ups per day for 30 days no 30 pull-ups in 30

Days yeah yes so I feel like that’s going to help my longevity it should do yes um but but anyway yeah get involved and um yeah this is back by popular demand you know last year we had people messaging Us in June saying they’re still going wow yeah yeah like honestly

People that started it were like well this is great and I can I’m totally in a routine now at the end of 30 days so they just kept going so there was like 30 in I don’t know 180 by that point isn’t that amazing it’s f i do you know

What I’m considering bringing back on my my own personal social media not this is some sort of breakaway Le from the 13 30 do you remember years ago when I did one pullup and one sit up for every day of the year it was a press up not a pull up

So one press up one one sit up for every day of the year I think of doing that but on social media because it encourage me to keep going didn’t you quit the tour of Flanders yeah you got as far as a tour of Flanders then we went on a big

Night out in Belgium and well I still did it that night you remember about 1: in the morning busy doing however many 90 100 press ups and situps was it I cave that some point yeah there you go well yeah I’ll be tuning in to to that

As well you make sure you STW it mate all right what we’ll do especially on January the 1st yeah it’s going to be a quick reel hack for/ bodge of the week now and a reminder that to upload them you need to go to upload. Global cycling

Network.com and now that the Gent app has shut uh first up this week this comes in from retro bikes fanatic place your order before Christmas it’s toilet roll holder basically while sigh get his head around what it is I’m like I can see that it’s

A toilet Ro hole there with a very nice quick release in there I’m just wondering what that’s got to do with Christmas yeah I couldn’t work out what it had to do with Christmas either but it’s also of the rear dropouts of a bike frame so I like it I don’t see relevancy

To Christmas but um yeah and it looks like a quality bog roll as well yeah I mean it might you know it sounds really awful but I really irritates me when the bog roll runs out and you guys change it over I I feel like that might make it a

Bit better um except for if you got um spare b rolls Within Reach yeah but I hate horizontal dropouts I really like like they’re just the worst invention ever like you’re going to have a real struggle getting that bog roll to sit straight in those

Dropouts so it’s a bodge from you is it yeah is yeah I’m really sorry it’s lovely executed you know absolutely fantastic but functionally just yeah they like it well we have actually got the viewers votes on this one because we took it from the app for this

Pre-recorded show so 96% hack very much in the minority side of your that’s one of the best well maybe most people aren’t familiar with horizontal dropouts and the horror that they bring um should point out actually that if you’re wondering why uh last week’s best ever

Hat was only 95% they do tend to come down with time don’t they not many people have voted on it by that point that’s right yeah um anyway well done for that one uh the second one this week is from strw and Mac my wife wanted to

Celebrate an event she completed so I used a old chain and a bit of deck Timber to create a wee plaque for her look at that 70 point three that’s cool boom that is really cool I think that would be a good way of putting your

House number out the front that would be cool wouldn’t it would although it might tell people that you got bikes inside and they might want to come and Nick them do you know what I mean yeah be like hey I’m a bike fanatic possibly jaon don’t know some you know maybe

That’s a bit maybe that’s a bit Scrooge like for boxing day I need to get into the festive spren yeah a bit negative I mean you know I’m just a bit dis I thought it such a fantastic idea I just come up with and you’re already saying

It was rubbish no I think it’s a great idea and that looks super cool yeah uh 90% voted that hack so I’m going with that I think it looks very cool inde I’m just saying hack yeah as well no zip ties were used either in the making of

That web and eight probably been up before uh it has or at least I’ve seen it before on Facebook I think uh but here you go anyway getting the kids trained in that Aero position early on there you go look at that and breaks that don’t do anything not good num nuts

Though is it that settle position oh goodness me yeah oh wowers yeah no definitely uh you want to sort that you want to sort that out otherwise there might be some lasting damage not just talking about them becoming true athletes or time triers far too serious to be like that

At that age abolutely put a pair of nice wide handlebars get a mountain biking isn’t it y um yeah bodge from me uh 77% hack really so there you go yeah’s going on um well maybe they’ll change their mind now we pointed out that it’s um sad make them have num nuts accidentally

Become a triathlete uh the last one for this week from srj Two Wheel last year I traveled 800 miles to ride for a couple of weeks my old friend I needed both the road bike and the mountain bike I didn’t want to carry them outside the car my

SUV has a well in the back so I made an insert to hold two bike mounts it worked great no contact between the bikes and that does look good actually doesn’t it there you go um mounted presumably on a workst there uh uh two black and DEC oh

I see sorry that is the that is the the bike rag that’s now living on a workbench to act as a uh as a bik m well I’m glad you got your head around it now sir I haven’t TJ how are you going to how are you going to do the gears and

Stuff I do like the uh the bike inserts inside car we had a few of those in previous years Haven we and they always look very neat they do look very neat yeah I like that a lot long going hack uh yeah I’m going to get well I’d

Go hack for a bit inside the car this bit I’m not so fussed about no cuz um I don’t see how on the fence cuz you like to be picity about stuff but 93% of people voted that one a hack did they C Riley you’re lot thing generous at

Christmas well yeah it seems like other people are in the Christmas spirit ey well yeah what can I say mate I’m just you know like it’s boxing day is it we’re doing the gcn show you got a hangover you yeah a little bit no caption competition this week because

Pre-recorded time we don’t know the results just yet cuz we haven’t seen any comments and for that reason no comments of the week you just totally shattered the illusion that we’re here working on boxing today yeah but no I’m on the bike what are you doing oh right now right

Now as people are watching this uh I am at the pub no I don’t know what I’m doing I’m probably doing pull-ups the bad back uh coming up on the channel then on Wednesday New Year’s resolutions that cyclist shouldn’t make that’s right cyclist shouldn’t make yes and on

Thursday seven bits of advice new cyclist should ignore there we go this is cool isn’t it you don’t have to do anything on Wednesday and Thursday just sit back and relax and figure out what you don’t have to do yeah Friday OE and Hank joined a pro cyclist for a training

Session did they survive their intervals that one is going to be very good indeed on Saturday we’ve got that introduction to the 30 in 30 challenge that we talked to you about so definitely check out that one and then on Sunday basically every sports fan on the

Planet should have the G six day on their bucket list of events I’ve take that one off I yeah you have indeed yeah uh you wrote the book on it basically um anyway anyway Mitch Docker went out there for gcn and uh there’s a cracking little a cracking little film for you on

On New Year’s Eve so make sure you check that one out it’s proper cool right well that brings to an end the last gcn show for 2023 I think it’s time for us to say thanks once again for your support wholeheartedly uh we really do appreciate it we will of course be back

For plenty more GSN shows 52 of them probably in 2024 indeed yeah you know what the you can see just how important youa are to the gtn show the fact that I feel complet bere having not done any comments or Capt I’m just like does feel

Like a Hol show yeah it does I want to know what everyone’s thinking and writing funny stuff under our videos well we did at least have their hacks and bodges that is true yeah so uh no business as usual next week where we will continue to read out you lot taking

The piss out of us lot uh everything that we do basically right hope you had a great Christmas and all the best for New Year

  1. What I see:
One or more bicycle manufacturers go under.
Chinese manufacturers will enter the market with world-class products.
Shimano gets bailed out after a series of lawsuits bankrupts them.

  2. video idea:
calories burned/comparing: ascending, on the flat, descending, combo with grinding, spinning and riding at a coasting speed.
    >>> what burns the most calories—spinning or grinding?
Good for January 2024 when we want to know what we are burning off after eating a lot at christmas!

  3. 30 in 30? Back in September, I did my own version of 30 in 30. That meant 30 minutes of running AND 30 km of cycling in 30 days. I completed it successfully and I really felt my fitness level increase. After I survive Rapha 500 challenge in December, I'll do MY version of 30 in 30 in January 🙂

  4. It's always a pleasure to watch the GCN Show, and Dan and Si are a class act, up there with Morecambe and Wise.
By the way, the Canadian winter ain't what it used to be; it's PLUS 5 deg C in Ottawa this afternoon, and we've had a rare green Xmas. And, as sure as Hell, I'm not complaining, eh.

  5. Scary fact I’ve been cycling longer than all of you as I started racing in 1987. Cycling has been a big part of my life since the early 70’s and still is. 2023 was a cycling low point for me as my attention started to drift away from riding my bike, any prior year since I started cycling . But GCN is wholly responsible for reinvigorating my interest in cycling again as I’m looking forward to the 2024 season and feel the butterflies in my stomach again. Thank you for stoking the embers of my waning love of cycling with your genuine enthusiasm and passion for the sport. I look forward to your inevitable return…many thanks for now! 😊

  6. 22:50 – Si might be joking but this is exactly how many criminals target vehicles in the USA. That $1,500 bike rack and stickers advertising all the expensive equipment you own basically says "Please rob my garage!" 🤦‍♂

  7. A lot of us are bloody tired of "game-changing innovations" that UCI approves, pros use, and makers are forced to push at consumers. We want bikes that have been through reasonable QA and can be spec'd as we want. Such bikes would sell like bug spray in the jungle.

  8. "Installing cycling infrastructure" – when there physically isn't space to make anything new, what can be done?

Just smosh all the pavement down to road level as a pedestrian/cycling bit?

  9. Prominence of gravel vs road really depends on where you live. Near me, there are plenty of non-competitive road events, but there are plenty of gravel races that work something like park runs with only a few really entering to win and most happy to have a timed event to measure themselves

  10. Not to throw a damper on your optimism regarding cities becoming increasingly bike friendly, here in Vancouver the current city council is big on killing bike lanes. So depressing.

  11. 2023 was the year that I went from “No way would you get me in a bike”, to cycling over 700 miles and climbing over 26,000 feet on Zwift in three months. Can’t wait for nice weather so I can get outside

  12. Thanks mates for a great 2023. My favourite cycling moment for 2023 was a full 5 months recovery from 800 metre daily climbs in Girona on a 9 day cycling vacation at age 77.

  13. Gravel is / was an event by the people for the people, until UCI got involved. Now it’s a regulated less cool event. Money interests do it again. It’s becoming like CX when it’s very exciting before the big 3 turn up. Don’t get me wrong I like to see MVDP, WVA and TP but am equally impressed with the regular World Cup riders when there is close competition.

  14. Could we not see a 2024 resurrection of a NEW GCN app with all the usual great content (minus the live racing)? Surely such a great little platform should not be left to languish, particularly when there are so many of the GCN films etc being missed by the faithful. I for one would be happy to pay a modest subscription fee to help support it. It would also mean the hack and bodge uploads etc could all still be in one place… Am I being too optimisitic, or just suffering from too many Christmas "shandys" I love my racing, but think the app could stand on its own without it….

  15. Hi Guys, happy new year.
Never mind june, I'm still on 30 in 30 now, including a 76 minute ride christmas day! I hope all you GCN presenters will set a good example for us mere followers and all do your 30 in 30 for 2024.
    Have a good one everyone.
