I was in awe by the light on this beautiful trail. Pure magic. There was frost in some places which gave the trail a luminous glow and yet in other places it felt and looked like summer, lot’s of shadows and backlight at places. Very varied trail: Häckeberga to VÄDERKULLEN at Skåneleden.
More about this part of the large trail Skåneleden: The trail is called SL2: North to South and is in total 325 km and comprised of 34 sections. I chose the section 14, Häckeberga to Väderkullen which is 14 km, but I changed it a bit and made it circular. There are many possible routes to take here. This hike follows Skåneleden Trail’s sub-trail SL2 Nord-Sydleden Trail in west central Skåne, 10 km east of Lund – renowned for its big university. Carl Linnéus described Häckeberga as one of the most beautiful places he had ever seen when he visited Skåne in 1749. History set against seductively peaceful nature.
