There are many fantastic things to do in Copenhagen, but there are also a few classic mistakes I see tourists make all the time here in the capital of Denmark. In this short, I’m showing the 5 mistakes I see tourists make all the time – make sure you don’t do this on your next trip to Copenhagen.

Here are five of the most common mistakes tourists make when they’re coming to Copenhagen if you’ve never ridden a bike before in your life Copenhagen is not the place to learn it it’s dangerous and the locals will hate you don’t visit The Little Mermaid it’s literally just a little tiny statue and

    1. Gotta disagree. You can easily use cash in most places, as long as you don't use big bills for small payments, because they can't give you enough cash back.

And there are great restaurants in Nyhavn and strøget. The problem is, for almost every tourist, Copenhagen is gonna be overpriced, so an advice would be to do research, before you select your restaurant or café. Cus it's gonna be expensive no matter what.

    2. I advice against the card only method, in Denmark.
I am a worker in a turist area in a very common convenient store natiowide. As long you have visa and Mastercard, you should be fine. But I have had multiple experiences that our foreign costumers doesn't have a card, that we dont accept American express for one instance. I don't the technical details so I cannot answer that.

The only time I would recommend having card would be to use either the public transport specifically trains. Busses uses cash.
I live very far away from Copenhagen and it is completely out of my expertise. I wholeheartedly suggest doing the homework before traveling.

If you're planning to explore outside of our major cities, ill suggest you to rent a car.

Ps. Tipping is not necessary. It is like adding whipped cream to your ice cream. It is Completely optional, but the whipped cream can make the waiter's day.
