🇩🇪 Christmas Shopping in Cologne / Köln Germany – 4K HDR 60FPS City Walking Tour

Recorded on a December day in 2023 just before Christmas Eve, this stroll through the city center of Cologne / Köln in western Germany captures the festive atmosphere of Christmas. Beyond the famous shopping street Schildergasse, one of Europe’s busiest shopping street, I will show you a few Christmas Markets nestled in the beginning and the end of the city center. The first one is located right in front of the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom). The “Market of Angels” at the end of the Schildergasse close to Neumarkt not only offers mulled wine and punch, but also hot and cold cocktails. Culinary delights are also on offer. In addition to Christmas market classics, such as bratwurst or crêpes, there are also more unusual specialities, such as flamed salmon, vegan spaetzle, pasta in parmesan batter or original Cologne Cathedral waffles from Café Riese. Cologne, or Köln in German, is a vibrant city situated on the banks of the Rhine River in western Germany. Renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and lively cultural scene, Cologne stands as one of the country’s oldest and fourth-largest cities.
