  1. Training wheel bracket has a notch on it that fits in the wheel dropout. You need the drive side on the drive side and non drive side on the no drive side or the notch won’t line up with the wheel drop out. Helps you with assembly.

    These training wheels look pretty new, but could I politely suggest removing both the training wheels **and** the pedals so that the child using this bike can learn to balance their bike?

    It’s a much faster way to learn to balance and ride a bike and once they’ve mastered that element, put the pedals back on and hold onto their waist as they begin pedalling.
