    Is Portugal the best country for ADV out there? What bike should I bring? Is TET or ACT the better choice for me? What if I don’t want to ride alone? When is the best time to go there? All these questions and many more we tried to answer;

    In November 2023, 5 guys from all over the world travelled to Portugal, to embark on a adventure motorcycle tour on the TET and ACT with Diogo Guerra from the Youtube Channel @OFFroadOFFcourse We drove for 5 days, sunrise to sunset, and nearly 1000km on the endless trails of Portugal on the plucky little Honda CRF300L and even one older CRF250L.

    Taking part in the tour was Ingvar Orten from @notsoeasy-adv and Johannes Dalen @JohannesDalen from Norway, and all the way from Australia Peter Frensemeyer and from the UK Stuart Twiss.

    6 guys, different age, different riding skills, different lives, but all in sync and it made for a great team that made this tour very special.

    Follow our route through Portugal that took us in a loop. From Santarém to the highest peak in mainland Portugal Serra da Estrela (The Sky) and to Nazaré (The Sea) and back to Santarém.

    Portugal has to be one of the best countries for ADV’ing in Europe. You can find an endless amount of trails here, way beyond the TET and ACT. The new TET track introduced in March 2023 is the more demanding route with enduro like segments here and there. The ACT is shorter mileage and more straight lined with a medium difficulty. If you are planning a trip to Portugal this video will hopefully also help you navigate the level of difficulty, help you decide what bike to bring or rent for your trip. And if you like to have a tailor made tour for your level of skills, that fit’s what you like, please please contact Diogo Guerra. He’s a mate first and a guide second, despite the fact that he is a very very good guide and host. He knows this country and it’s tracks like no one else, and he knows all the best food to eat, and wine to drink and will make your tour one you will remember, right to the end.

    Now, this is the first video for this channel The Scandi Flick TV. Why start with a long documentary everyone says. Why not split it up in different days? You might get a higher amount of subscribers and more diversity with 5 separate videos spread out over 5 weeks. One video per week as the golden YouTube rule describes. Well, we don’t care about any of that stuff. That’s not for us. We don’t plan on making this our living. We are ordinary people, with ordinary jobs and mediocre riding skills. Like 95 percent of the ADV segment. Yes there are a few Pol Tarrés guys out there. But we are part of the majority, and this video is from us to you that are just like us. You don’t have to ride around the world or the Romaniac’s hard enduro to have an adventure. It can be much less dramatic, and just as fulfilling. We hope you agree and we hope you like this little dogma like GoPro only production with no drone or additional footage.

    Thank you to @REVITsport @CardoSystemsGlobal @tcxboots1 @AraiHelmetEurope @GoProMX @HondaMotorcyclesEU @Quad_Lock not in any affiliation with this video or sponsorships, but we couldn’t have done it without you.

    2. Aww man, thank you so much for putting this video together (and for joining the tour, of course!)
      You were a fine addition to this already fine group and it will be a pleasure to host you again for more riding! Maybe this time to a different are of the country, or to try the whole TET… should be quite an adventure 😀
      I wish you good luck to this new channel of yours… but i have the feeling that if you can keep this quality up, you won't need any luck 😀
